• MacBook Pro mid-2012 very slow

  Hello

  My MacBook Pro is very slow (it has gotten worse recently). Applications to take ages to load, Firefox is hogging resources and very slow, get the focus of the mouse has a huge lag and I was spinning.

  The files you have downloaded show a transitional situation. The system could not connect properly to download Windows Update, but something happened to eliminate this problem. More recently, you've managed to download and install some updates and there are updates downloaded and ready to be installed after 03:00 this morning. I can't immediately see if the SP1 update is among these updates. You could take control of the update process by changing the automatic installation to one by which you download and install manually. This could reduce the time needed to complete what may be a lengthy process.

  After receiving your message, I installed Avast. The computer has improved and the next day he was back to being so very slow. Took 45 minutes to start!

  I went into the windows updates and now have an error message; Code 80072EE2 windows has encountered an unknown error.

  I have a weird problem with my laptop Ideapad Y560 (2 years). I was wondering if any of you have a similar problem and looking for a possible solution.

  As soon as I start the laptop (either), it is very slow for the first 3-4 minutes. Nothing to really works or opens, it hangs for a while and runs my entries of keyboard and mouse with a considerable delay. After this period of 3-4 minutes, it works perfectly fine, also responds well/crisp as the lappy was brand new. I can't understand why he behaves in this way.

• MacBook Pro mid 2012 very large Cache

  Hello everyone

  I own a Macbook Pro mid-2012, I swapped the stock 500 GB for a 256 GB SSD drive. My storage became full so I downloaded omnidisksweeper, after the execution of this program, I discovered that a Cache folder is over 100 GB in size.   Slow is a very relative term.  With respect to the use of resources, if you are running in contention for resources, you can always increase actions/rights for this virtual machine.  This could be memory, cpu, disk related to resources that are on sale.  You need to understand who he is and increase/change accordingly.  You might also be reaching limits on IO, according to backup how intensive.  In this case, you can move your backup job at a time where it will not interfere with your treatment.

• End of 2012 very slow Mac. Etrecheck joint

  I have a Mac to end 2012, El Capitan, which has been gradually running slower and slower.  It seems preferable, once he is fully initialized, but it takes that which feels like an age to actually start, and if I try to open applications such as Mail, Safari.   If you do not have a backup, copy both of your documents on a external drive NOW.

  Then go to an authorized Apple store or repair shop and have the hard drive replaced.

  If possible, take the opportunity to replace the old hard drive with an SSD. You will be amazed at your 'new' machine. It's like night and day.

• RESPONSE VERY SLOW AFTER THE START-UP OF THE PC.

  My PC has become very slow. When I start my all right, but
  When the desktop I have to wait at least 7-8 minutes before updating it the first time.
  If I don't wait and refresh it just after the start and then very slow after clicking answers, then after
  sometime, windows Explorer stops working and I have to restart my PC.

• Replace the HARD drive in mid-2012 MBP of SSD?

  Given to replace my HARD drive of 1 TB in MBP mid-2012.  This MBP has already been customized (by Apple) to 2.9 GHz i7 8 GB mem.

  I'm looking for a solution at least to 1 TB also. How about this:

• satellite 2520cdt is very slow after replacing HARD drive

  My Satellite 2520 CDT is the HARD Mk 4309 MAST 4.3 GB default disk. I replaced the with the Toshiba MK 2016 GAP of 20 GB.
  I use Windows 98 since the original installation CD. The laptop is now very slow, it takes minutes to start programs, etc.

  I installed the latest BIOS with no improvement. Probably the laptop cannot manage the size of the HARD drive.

  I had the same suggestion. I think that the large size of the HARD disk is responsible to slowly start performance. But I wonder why BIOS recognize the HARD drive?
  However, try to defragment the HARD drive.

• My wifi/internet is very slow since the IPhone Update 9.3.4.

  I have an IPhone 6 and since the update (3 days ago) my wifi/Internet is very slow.

  Minutes of need for pages to load, and the App Store and the ITunes App not to load any. Photos and videos need a time very Long if they work at all.

  Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom.

  Alternatively, you can try to reset the App Store first, since it won't load at all. Please follow these steps:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then restart the unit.

  Then sign into the iTunes Store and try to download again.

  (1) restart you device.

  (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

  (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.

  (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

  (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

  (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

  (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

  (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes. Try to restore as New first and test it. If ok try to restore the backup (the backup may be corrupted).

• Mid-2012, MacBook Pro 15 '' (retina) crashes "

  Just my mid-2012, the Mac Book Pro has started planting without rhyme or reason.  I have to press the power button until the lights on the keyboard turns off and then turn it back again.  I get the notice to press any button or wait a few seconds for the reboot to start.  Apple logo light up and sometimes half way through and crashes again, sometimes it restarts successfully.  Then it crashes again.  I read other posts related to GPU and solder issues, such as a hardware problem that Apple will not acknowledge receipt.  No idea how to fix it?
