Midas.dll version no while version than expected 10.0.2151

Hello, starting to loose faith Thinapp after struggling for a while, I hope someone can help.

I am currently Thinapp an application called Sats Barnehage made by IST. He needs Borland Database Engine in the background, and that seems to work very well I get the question on the user name and password that authenticates indeed correctly.

However, the Sats software throws a mistake the second I have connection about midas.dll that this is not the correct version, but it seems its not able to not to get the information from the DLL itself as the error with module SAIS NO version before tell me what she expects.

The file is supposed to be in C:\Windows\syswow64 and I see its place properly in the packaged aswell 32-bit environment like all the registry keys in thinapp correctly pointing to % % SystemSystem

It works fine on the machine, we capture the package with so it's not a problem with the version of the operating system or environment.

Enforcement does not at all with Thinapp 4.7.3 so its packaged with 4.6.1.

I tried the Wow64 = 0 and VirtualizeExternalOutOfProcessCOM = 0 so that the part of ExternalDLLs where I specify file midas.dll unsuccessfully to loading.

Also tried to go into cmd for debug and register dll start application etc. without success.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

VMware KB: Using the ExternalDLLs parameter in Package.ini for ThinApp configuration file

I tried to use ExternalDLLs =; as described on the page, but when you use ExternalDLLs = inject.dll; injectme2.dll without the <> it worked fine.

Hi all just make me this error with KernelBase.dll, what happens to my end of the application, is that I am using .NET Framework to determine if network connectivity is available, to raise an event from a dll underlying to notify the application when network connectivity is established, or network connectivity is not available. Nothing really special here just using standard stuff of .net framework here.  Have seen similar incidents withKERNELBASE.dll reported, but nobody of really give any info on which exception 0xe0434f4d is a code.  Knowing what would be the execption, would allow me to find a quick solution to the problem. BizTalk seems to have a similar problem with KERNELBASE.dll.

Additional information that may help is that I am under the .NET application on a Windows 7 computer less than 100 MB of storage space, well below the recommended minimum of 300 MB, but test the .NET to test application it is now. This should work if Windows 7 does not work.

    Hi ashnov,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

2 when was the last time it was working fine?

    Method 1

I suggest that you install the updated drivers for the graphics card on the computer by visiting the card manufacturer or the manufacturer of the computer Web site to download and install the drivers, check if it helps.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you do the system restore and check if it works.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/306084

    Method 3

I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows XP installation CD.

Hi MattDMoand welcome to the VMware communities!

The first (and usually easiest) step to try is to restart your Mac.  You see the error message suggests that Fusion 6 is quite not stopped cleanly when you finally ran, interfering with the new version of merge that you restart.

Let us know if this solves the problem!

  • DLL slows parrellel while loop

    Hello

I am changing a VI I wrote, to work with another piece of equipment. Communication tends to work directly through labVIEW. My new equipment provided with a driver/dll library and now I have many layers before reaching the material (LabVIEW-> driver-> software-> the measuring equipment). I have some time this account down to run alongside my Subvi who manages my method of measurement of the loop. As I put in place the screw that call DLLs that count - while loop slows down in the same frequency, I'm calling the dll. I've changed the "Run in the user interface thread" setting to the "Run in any thread" option in the call library function node. In fact, which got rid of my problem about 90%. But my meter still comes in a few seconds at the end. I wonder in what sense the crux of library function call delayed a seemingly parallel thread?

Any suggestion on the place where to continue searching for a fix?

    Welcome them

    / Lorenz

It is hard to tell what might work without knowing your DLL and what he actually did, but I see something in your loop that will force LabVIEW to toggle the user interface thread! The property node to update the text of the start_method th button will ALWAYS force a change of context for the UI thread. If you can avoid this really should not be possible for the DLL block your loop more. At least try to not update this property if it needs to be changed with regard to the previous value and not at each iteration of the loop.

A guess is that the DLL actually interfaces to ActiveX code somehow. LabVIEW initializes its ActiveX environment to run in the UI thread, because it is the only safe thread system in LabVIEW to perform many threaded ActiveX components or when the data marshaling is involved. If your DLL tries also to connect to an ActiveX interface, it will be forced to go the UI thread that explains how to access the property in your loop can get delayed.

And another problem you have is the moment of software. count you down the loop increments of 10 ms, but Windows will be hardpressured for hard real-time performance. While you are not using the "wait until the next ms Multiple" to take account of some jitter, if the loop is blocked for more than 10 ms through an external resource, you will actually jump an interval.

Better would be to calculate the time elapsed directly reading the timer tick before entering the loop, then use the output of graduation of timer her to "wait until the next ms Multiple" to calculate the difference. Dividing this difference by 10, and then adding your counter value initial this result would give you the same value that you feed your VI calculation, but what about the real system clock, not a counter loop running asynchronously with questionable interval.
