Minesweeper point on body / hand puppet together to deal a simple skin? (2)

Hello

I have a problem similar to that in post claytor1999 Minesweeper point on body / hand puppet together to deal a simple skin?, when you drag a body hand moves with him. I tried to remove layers, the order of the different layers, etc. Could someone take a look at the Illustrator file: Adobe Creative Cloud and the character animation project folder: Adobe Creative Cloud? Appreciate it.

Nice character!

A few tips:

(1) updated for Preview 3 (which looks like to you use Preview 2), and then create a new project and reimport the file I - This avoids having the 'old' version of behaviours of the previous version (that are good to keep things looking the same, but in your case it did not work in any case, better to get the new behaviors)

(2) because the key in his right hand is very close to his body, the mesh closes upward - you can see this by checking the option Show Mesh at the bottom of the Panel of puppets and by selecting the layer "body" (or any which another layer on the same mesh). You can fix a few different ways:

  • (A) move the key to be a little further away from the leg (and same for the Toolbox on the other side: that it overlaps do not body)
  • (B) change the lattice extension in the properties of 3-to-1 Panel. This solves the problem with the key, but not the box tool
  • (C) change the images box & key to tools to make their own net. For a subpuppet (i.e. the layer group) you can just check the Warp option independently in the properties panel. But 'skins' (i.e. non-groupes) do not have this option. If you add a '+' in front of the name in artificial intelligence, Ch will automatically define Warp Indpendently for you (and for skin, automatically create a surrounding the group to enable it to happen). Thus, rename 'tools' to '+ tools' artificial intelligence. You'll probably also want to divide one for the left hand and the other for right hand tools as they move independently.

(3) you probably want to add some fixed handles to prevent the body from flopping autour when your head moves. Do it with the Pin tool in the control panel of the puppet, with the selected organization. And then to add keyboard triggers for change of hands, etc.

  • Minesweeper point on body / hand puppet together to deal a simple skin?

    I have a simple puppet I rebuilt several times good puppet. I keep running into is a fixed point work very well to cement feet down, but when I add a flirty handmade either he treats the puppet together as a single skin... slide it works, but it's like I'm grabbing a unique pixel and the false with her puppet. So far, I have removed the layers and merged to simplify the puppet. I went through all the layers and deleted the "white" areas with the selection tool. Can't seem to understand this one.

    You can go there, it should work:

    http://Adobe.LY/1PAMLwZ

    To be honest I'm not sure of what exactly was going on the devil, but I've isolated the problem down to the layers of the hand-arm system (I replaced the red rectangles and it worked). So I tried flatten each arms together, has used the magic wand tool to select each arm, press cmd + shift + I to select the entire document outside the arms and press to delete - and it worked. So I think that there is a microscopic spot somewhere who was throwing things out. So I think it must be a question of the island, which should be better in the next version (I think that anything under 6px which is not connected will be ignored). I hope it does!

  • Point of origin for puppets

    Hello

    When I start to create a puppet I create a folder for the puppet that is his name.  In this I place folders of head and body.

    I then create the head layer, usually a circle filled with the elipse tool.  Then, I place the origin point with the pen tool the shape selected underneath the area of the mouth of the circle.

    When I test this in point of origin host always seems to be on left hand side of the head?

    Can someone tell me why I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance

    Okay-, first of all, make sure that your structure looks like this:

    And then it should work like this:

    It works for you?

  • The mouse pointer changed by hand

    Now it won't let me copy / paste.  How to get out he hand mode

    I had the same problem.  If you look at the browser toolbar (I use IE 7), next to the Home icon is a white hand.  He turns the "panoramic" hand on and outside.  I must have inadvertently clicked on it, turn on the hand.  Once, I décliqués it, the vertical line and/or the classic mouse pointer returned.  I hope this works for you also.

  • Do not turn the mouse pointer in one hand. Why?

    Hello!

    Why, when I do a (adding an action to a symbol) button, the mouse pointer doesn't turn into a helping hand, when I put the key?

    And how to fix it?

    Thank you

    You can set the cursor of the mouse for a symbol or element by using the mouse cursor option in the properties panel.

    I think that the addition of that action will not turn a div for the tag button.

  • Cursor (pointer) showing that hand (move tool) instead of pointer

    How can we change the characteristics of the hand cursor (displacement tool) to be simply a pointer?  This condition exists only in the Module develop when my cursor is on top of the photo.  When I get out of the picture, he returned to the pointer.  In the library Module is always a pointer as I like it to be.

    My first guess would be that you are to fill or some other which makes your picture slightly larger screen - that's why it gives you a helping hand so that you can expose the hidden parts of your image.

    Change of tone in the browser to adjustment panel and see if your pointer returns.

  • Cursor flashes quickly between the pointer and the hand when you move the link.

    Whenever it starts occurring, the status bar will start also flickering between showing the value of href of the link target and nothing, and tooltips (which would normally appear on the overview) briefly appear and disappear. The same thing happens with the drop-down menus Javascript, making it nearly impossible then to navigate on a site based on Java.

    I'm running Firefox on a replacement desktop laptop (Dell Inspiron 9400), a netbook (Asus Eee 1000) and a PC (the one I'm doing this report from) and all have the same problem, even when I did a complete uninstall and reinstall FF and even when using different combinations of extensions.

    Same Prblem reported here, but with Ubuntu:

    https://bugs.Launchpad.NET/Ubuntu/+source/Firefox/+bug/87043

    but no solution. I am completely baffled and increasingly annoyed.

    It is not triggered by any certain pages or technologies - it is apparently random, affecting 10 to 20% of the loading of the page.

    The bug seems to be related focus and can be cancelled in about 80% of cases by placing the cursor over a link in another window or tab. The other 20% of the time that it cannot be cleared by restarting.

    I work for a co WebDev. We had to drop as our browser development and recommend customers away from him at the moment. It's a pain in the anus, because we are so much a part of the design of extensions in FF.

  • turning point in xp and vista together on 2 hard drives

    How can I add my old hard drive to my new vista pc.
    He has xp on it

    Hi mikbre72,

    You will first need to physically install the drive in your new pc vista case, connect the power and data cables. However, before that you need to set the jumpers on your old hard drive to a 'slave' or self select (glance at the top of your hard drive to see which jumper settings are available) (see: http://www.ehow.com/video_6030_install-second-hard.html and http://www.helpwithpcs.com/upgrading/install-hard-drive.htm .)

    Once you have installed the reader go to the start menu and click computer to verify that Windows can see the hard drive that you have just installed. Also check that there is a drive letter, for example D, E, F etc. If it is not then go to control panel and click the administrative tools. Once in administrative tools, click on the ' computer management option and then click on the "disk management" is If you then right click your drive containing XP, you'll see a menu drop-down. Look for the option to change the drive letters, and then to assign a drive letter to the drive.

    Now even if your drive has been installed you still not be able to start XP. This is because the details of your XP disk have not been added to the boot record (BCDEdit). To do this, you have two options. Or, insert your Windows Vista DVD into your DVD drive, reboot your PC and start the Vista installation. (see this link to my website: http://www.winuser.co.uk/windows_vista_faq/32_install_windows_vista.html ) When you reach step 9 in my Windows Vista installation guide illustarted, click on the 'open system recovery tools' and do a startup repair. This should locate your second drive and add it to the boot menu.

    A second option is to download EasyBCD (http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 ) installation of this application and run it. Once running open registrations to add/remove and manually add your XP disk to the boot menu. See this link for more information on adding an entry: http://neosmart.net/gallery/v/neosmart/EasyBCD/1_70/Add-Remove+Entries+-+Windows.png.html

    When you restart you should be offered also a menu that lets you choose between Vista and XP

  • Hands glued to the body! Why?

    I made a character who works perfectly... done another (photoshop), the same exact way (move the mouse, followed by the points in the hands etc.), but the hands stick to the body, dragging the torso all instead of being separated.
    I copied even all the parts in the first file of character to see if it worked, but continues to be the same thing. Am I missing something really obvious in the process when editing in photoshop?
    I'm all name correctly and put them in the right places etc... He drives me crazy!

    Hi, Gary... This can happen if using a rectangular Mesh Contour vs. If you open the puppet in the puppet Panel, select the subpuppet layer that contains the mesh, and then click the check box show Mesh. The mesh seems rectangular? If so, the shape of the mesh can select rectangular because maybe some layers do not overlap (that is, there are islands of content). If you pass the Mesh shape specifically to the Contour and it behaves as expected, please post a screenshot of your graphic design here (pointing to the mesh) or if you want to keep private, do not hesitate to send me a direct message with a link shared your file of the work. Thank you.

  • HP mini 210-4000cto: Synaptics Touchpad pointer moves by itself

    My Touchpad erre - moves by itself

    I tested when it does. Sometimes his random

    Sometimes sound when I have something to make a passing series - all in motion right hand upward on the touchpad and then stop + click on the left button - the pointer goes to the top of the screen itself. Sometimes going down then stop-click left finger that she continues down. This happens sometimes on the icons that I try to click or try to grab things or move things.

    Sometimes I use two hands (fingers) together - I can touch the touchpad with the finger right hand add finger of the left hand on the left click button - depends on what the direction upwards or downwards it will continue upwards or downwards by its self.

    If I use one hand to do - move to where I need, then click on, no problem

    I found the most recent driver for the Touchpad to Synaptics but that did not solve the problem

    I found sp70198 HP (32-bit) Jan - 1-2015

    I installed using C:\swsetup\sp70198

    He wrote "Solves a problem with the function of movement of momentum where tapping the device does not stop the movement of mouse cursor after that the mouse cursor movement is started."

    Wow its much faster.  After the installation of sp70198 the computer is no longer usable - long script on the page stopped errors - I get faster use of the page and also to go to a page or one place to another.

  • When I had family a layer to a corner of the puppet, the layer will move to an unexpected position

    Hello.

    I'm hosting a long-necked bird with the puppet tool and that neck I want to fix a head which is a separate layer.

    To do this, I have pickwhip head Position property of the layer to one of the neck of the puppet pin Position property. I made sure that a layer anchor head is in the same position as the puppet pin position.

    However, when I do this, the head layer jump left some 200 pixels.

    How to change the expression so that this layer head remains in the same situation?

    Adding a printscreen for viewing. Layer of head point of anchorage and puppet pin positions are where the leaders meet

    puppet pin problem.png

    This will never work. The effect coordinates are relative to the layer, not the computer. As a minor, you can use the .tocomp (layer 9 space transform convertthe coordinated, otherwise you have to dial before your stuff.

  • Function editor does not support the pointer to the digital type

    Am I missing something or is it true that the CVI function Panel Editor does not support specifying a type parameter as a pointer of type number?

    I see no reason why he wouldn't or shouldn't.  It supports the pointer to char.  And it supports a table name (which, in C, is a pointer to the first element of the array).

    I guess I could use the array form as a pointer, but surely it's confusing when dealing with a simple pointer to a numeric scalar type.

    I am using the function Panel Editor only for the purpose of creating a dictionary of type so I can call functions DLL in VB.  Y at - he know somewhere how CVI types could are mapped to the VB types when you use the type dictionary?   for example, what happens if I use an unsigned int in a function parameter (VB does not support unsigned integers)?

    Menchar

    Hi Menchar,

    To create a pointer to an integer as a parameter to a function panel, you have two different options.

    First of all, all output parameters are defined as the default pointers.  So if you create an output parameter of type "int", he creates a ' int *' parameter.

    Second, if you want it to appear in the entry list, you can create a data type in CVI which will appear at the bottom of the list.  Data types to change your data types, go to the Options"(you must have a function Editor tab open and selected Panel to make this option available).  Enter the name of the type (in this case ' int * ') and click the Add button.  The new "int *" option should now appear at the bottom of the list.

    Third, you can use the array form (int []), but as you say, which can be confusing for other people looking at the code.  Or the other of the two first options are better choices.

    As for your second question, here's a link to a page MSDN showing types in Visual Basic and their representations .NET: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/47zceaw7 (VS.80) .aspx.  This allows to make a comparison between VB and ANSI C data types.  For example, to ask on unsigned integers, and this site shows that Visual Basic has an Integer type (-2,147,483,648 through 2,147,483,64) and an unsigned return, UInteger (between 0 and 4 294 967 295).  From what I can tell, VB has signed versions of all its digital representations.  You can then take this with a list of ANSI C data types to convert between the two.  A list of ANSI C data types can be found here: http://www.exforsys.com/tutorials/c-language/c-programming-language-data-types.html

  • T500 auto when the pointer is over a link or a button

    How to adjust settings so that my pointer does not automatically select?  Must be something simple but I can't find the option!  Thank you.

  • Registration for a Button component point

    I try to use the Button component in Flash CS3, any problems with the registration point. Code must be resized the bitton of its Center, but it has done for the upper left corner. Is any way to change the registration point with action acript 3?

    var tf:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
    TF.font = 'Arial ';
    TF. Size = 16;
    TF. Bold = true;

    BTN = new Button();
    BTN.emphasized = true;
    Btn.setStyle ("textFormat", tf);
    BTN.label = "QUIT".

    BTN.x = 250;
    BTN.y = 250;
    Btn.buttonMode = true;

    addChild (Btn);
    Btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, btnMouseOver);
    Btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, btnMouseRollOut);
    Btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, btnMouseClick);

    }

    function btnMouseOver(evt:MouseEvent):void

    Btn.useHandCursor = true;
    }

    function btnMouseRollOut(evt:MouseEvent):void

    Have you read getBounds / getRect? If the description is here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/flash/display/DisplayObject.html #getBounds)

    My second reflection is that in your dealing with cases of getBounds maybe an overdose if you are in full control of your graphics card or know with certainty that the objects are positioned at x / y 0. Which, perhaps, you need to do is just move button to the appropriate coordinates.

    Say that your button has original settings:

    BTN.x = 100;

    BTN.y = 200;

    BTN. Width = 300;

    BTN. Height = 100

    Then, of course the midpoint will be:

    centerX = btn.x + btn.width *. 5; / / = 300

    centerY = btn.y + btn.height *. 5; = 250

    When the button change its dimensions and you want to keep the middle-point you it recalculates. Say, extended button has the following dimenstions

    BTN. Width = 400;

    BTN. Height = 200;

    You will calculate position

    BTN.x = centerX - btn.width *. 5; It travels at 300-200 = 100

    BTN.y = centerY - btn.height *. 5; give 250-100 = 150

    And visa versa on mouse out.

    BUT if you dialogue with objects that have unpredictable record points - you'll need offset calculations based on values getBounds.
