  • BlackBerry smartphones filtered junk e-mail message alert tone

    Hello

I wonder if someone is able to solve a problem I have.

I downloaded Antair spam filter so that I'm not bothered by unwanted emails. The problem I find is that my Blackberry still sounds the alert message tone, even if incoming spam is filtered. It goes against the object that I'm always bothered by spam and I have to check if the e-mail is legitimate.

Is it possible to not have the alert tone if the message is spam?

    Thank you very much

    Photobloke

Currently, the order of action is:

    1. someone sends an email to you
    2. your email provider receives e-mail
    3. your email provider treats the junk e-mail filtering and deleting
    4. BIS sees that there is an email
    5. BIS delivers email on your device
    6. your device receives email and treats the notification
    7. Antair detects you have received an email and spam filtering and the removal of the process

so no, it is not possible for you both:

    • receive a notification when Antair considers that it is not spam
    • receives notification when Antair believes that it is a spam

Every six hours an alert is not generated, no icons, no text, nothing that the tone every 6 hours.

I have done several battery grips, wiped the phone, downgraded the OS and then reloaded the current operating system. Re-wiped the phone and charged nothing. He always does. Reloaded my databases and it remains t - it. The only way I can get this to stop is to turn off the radio. Since then, it happens with the radio off WHO or WHICH sends the signal to my phone to make the alert tone turn off with no further notice.

It becomes very irritating and happens to a large number of users of different phones across the country.

    Peripheral is 8230, carrier Alltel's OS 4.6.

Should have put this info in my first post... Thanks for the reminder...

Talked to Alltel CS, they are aware of this problem but have no idea who or what is the cause. It seems to do this on many different phones and at different times for different people. Happening for a little more than two weeks now.

  • 9.3.4 iOS alert tone calendar do not turn off

Since upgrading my iPhone 5 to 9.3.4, I can not turn off the sound alarm for a calendar event.

I have a Gmail calendar sync on my phone and all my calendar notifications are set as follows:

Show in Notification Center > WE

Sounds > None (alert sounds and vibrations are set to None)

The app icon badge > WE

Display the lock screen > WE

However, the reminder time for a calendar event, I get an alert of the lock screen AND a "rope" carillon. I also tried to disable all notifications of reminders, but nothing is done, there is simply no way to activate sound alerts in the calendar. It wasn't the behavior of calendar on 9.3.3. Am I missing something?

Another thing, that I discovered after the upgrade is that the captions under the buttons on the call screen are now highlighted. Is it because of the upgrade or some other setting?

Thanks in advance for all the help and advice.

    Hi John,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know have a problem with notifications, it is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you get a sound notification schedule even if this setting is disabled. Looks like you have tried to adjust some parameters already, so here's what I suggest for this problem:

1 first, turn off the Notifications options for the calendar, and then restart your device under the tap down and starting process is important to keep the iOS software works correctly. Select the appropriate Notifications options and test this new:

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    2. If you still experience the same behavior, I suggest to backup your personal data and then reset all the settings in settings > general > reset your device. This resets all settings on your device such as Notifications, which will have to be installed again after testing your problem of Schedule again.

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

iPhone 6 sec more (Verizon) 128GB

    iOS 9.3.1

I tried this as ringtones but these short alert tones will not sync over iTunes. Here's the old BlackBerry alert sounds, imported into iTunes as .mp3 files. I've created versions of AAC in iTunes, delete the original and clicked .mp3 files on each new alert tone to ensure he plays. They work in iTunes. I changed the from.m4a of type of file to m4r, trained in the "Ringtones" folder in music > iTunes > iTunes Media > tones. After sync these files back to music > iTunes > iTunes Media > music > unknown > unknown artist. And they're NOT getting to my iPhone.

    The ideas are greatly appreciated.
