Missing [from Lightroom 6.6] vertically guided - tool

Hi - I've upgraded to LR 6.6 standalone last version.

After a few hiccups, where he has always tried to sign me using CC - I did a clean install of LR 6.6

Thus, the new vertical tool guided - where is it? I have the Transform Panel - where it must be alive. But there is no icon (the hash search icon) on my screen. What Miss me? I tried the Corrections allow profile, thinking perhaps that it turns on and outside-, but not delayed. This isn't. I simply standing and up to day - but not hash icon to the left of them, I've seen in some other screenshots showing it.

Any ideas, what is wrong here and how to fix it?

Guided vertical tool is only available for versions CC and not for standalone versions.

  • Missing filters (in PS) after have exported them from lightroom

I'm currently moving my photo editing from a computer in Windows XP 32 bit on a 64-bit Win7 machine.  For now, both computers have CS4 Design Premium and Lightroom 2.5 installed.  All applications on the two machines are currently up-to-date.

The question and it ONLY occurs on Win7 64-bit machine, is that all my third-party filters disappear when I bring a file from Lightroom in Photoshop.  They are not gray.  They are not listed. Period.

I threw the preferences of PS and made sure that both 64-bit PS and PS ordinary worm both point to the record correct additional plugins.

It has nothing to do with the images coming out of Lightroom in @ 16 bit, because they are exported in this way on the XP machine as well.  Filters that cannot be performed on the images 16-bit only appear in gray.

I can open a picture directly in Photoshop and all the filters are there.  If I export the image (and it is not serious if I choose 'Edit in Photoshop' or 'Open as smart object');  If she came from Lightroom, filters have disappeared.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen and, more important, how to fix because it's really crippling productivity?

    Thank you.

    Mr. Green

Warning: this is transferred to the PS forum because I have no idea of recommended what application is this screwing and it was suggested that I try this forum as well.  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/538233?tstart=0

Your filters are probably only 32 bit but LR will open the 64 bit version of CS4 by default and you will not see your filters unless they are 64-bit versions. The only way around this that I know is to open the 32-bit version of PS before making an external editing and then LR will use the 32-bit version of CS4 instead of launching the 64-bit version.

When I right-click on an image in Lightroom and select Edit in Photoshop I get an error: "among application components are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application. I reinstalled Photoshop CC 2014 and I still get the error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Uninstall Photoshop, Lightroom and the CC app, run the tool from Adobe CC cleaning and re - install.  Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

  • Error message: "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer", when reinstalling Freecell.exe

Original title: Reinstall Freecell.exe and CARDS.dll

I permanently deleted freecell.exe from my computer at home about 3 months ago since I played him too much. [It is not in the Recycle Bin, but permanently deleted.]

It may be slightly addictive, see.

Now I want that he return!

I copied freecell.exe of my employer's computer to my home computer, but whenever I click on the icon, I get the message error "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer."

I looked for where I could get this dll on the net file, for example, Microsoft, but only get directed to sites who want to scan my registry until they give me the download, and I'm just wary of them and their peers.

I guess my basic question is: how to find a good copy of the CARDS.dll file and put it in the right place on my home computer.

I have my original purchase recovery discs, but I hesitate to start with there rooting.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Tom,

1 Windows operating system you are using?

    Step 1:

You can try to run a SFC scan and check if it helps:

You try to run a SFC scan to check all corrupted files.

You can read the following article to launch the SFC scan:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Step 2:

You can add or remove games from windows default Windows features and check if it helps. To do this, follow the steps below:

    a. Click Start, type optionalfeatures.exe and press ENTER.

    b. you will get destop or off the screen on Windows features.

    c. to disable a function to clear the checkbox on games, then restart the computer.

For more information, visit the link given below:

If you use Windows XP, then read the following article:

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Stop and run option is missing from the Start Menu.

Original title: Administrator group of experts.

On the Admin Panel when I want to close I normally press start and the "closing". However the button turn off disappeared and only shows button "quit". In addition the 'run' button is gone as well. How to restore it back to normal?

It will help with these situations... and, this lesson, I've added a few new commands to my answer of registry file generic copy/paste for these kinds of things:

If you see things like this:

You do not have sufficient security privileges to restore your system.
The System Restore tab is missing from the my computer properties.
System Restore has been disabled by group policy.  To turn on system restore, contact your domain administrator.
The System Restore tab is available, but the turn off System Restore (disabled by Group Policy) box is grayed out.
The task manager has been disabled by your system administrator.
The registry editor has been disabled by your system administrator.
The task manager has been disabled by group policy.
The registry editor has been disabled by group policy.
The command prompt has been disabled by your administrator.  Press a key to continue...

The usual advice are something in the sense of "something has been disabled in the group policy...". ", and it is probably true that something has been disabled, but you know what something is and what it takes to do about it.

If you are using XP Home Edition, you will get away with advice to use the Group Policy Editor, because there is no Group Policy Editor in XP Home and that really doesn't tell you where to look in group policy, even if you run the Group Policy Editor.

You need a complete solution that works for all versions of XP and requires no hunting around in the Group Policy Editor or registry to find where things are that have been disabled.

Unless you have disabled these things on purpose, chances are good that your system has a malware infection.  The malware knows what tools you use to try to find and remove, for the malware disables the things you are more likely to consume and prevents them from running if you can't find the malware and remove it.

If your system has this kind of affliction, all malicious software tools you currently use or have used failed to protect your system so that you can expand your horizons malware detection and prevention to prevent these kinds of afflictions in the first place.

The malware will be happy you trick into thinking that you need to so something drastic to fix your system - as a facility repair, system restore point or a total reinstallation of XP.  This is what it would be like you, but these measures are not necessary.

You must solve the immediate problem of the tools does not, then scan your system for malware when you are finished.

No matter what kind of malware you've used analytical tools, they are unlikely to solve this problem, because they cannot tell if the changes made to your system have been on purpose (you or an administrator who makes them) or some malware changed them, so the analysis tools will let these things alone (it's usually a good thing).

If your system is afflicted in this way, there are probably other things that also do not work - like the registry editor, System Restore and the command prompt, so fix them all at once even if you have not discovered they are broken again.

These commands from registry removes the registry entries that are stop opening programs.  Although the registry entries do not exist, these commands are safe to run and will work for all versions of XP.
