Missing page on export (html, css files)

When I export to HTML, I'm missing a page, no HTML or CSS file for this page, any ideas?

Hello

On the plan view, right-click on the page and make sure the export option is checked.

Kind regards

Abhishek Maurya

After the tutorials and help files to use the grid to fluid.

    1. Launch a blank page on a new site, which inserts the div of starter and the new css file
    2. Immediately save page which also generates / saves auxiliary files (js and css).
    3. Remove inner div that is created in order to use my own (tried also leaving room for a default value and use)
    4. Insert the new div within the div 'clearfix gridContainer.
    5. Place the cursor just after this new div, always inside the "gridContainer clearfix" and add a new 'fluid grid layout div tag', new line.
    6. Following the same method, do it again.
    7. Dreamweaver adds the CSS code generated to the actual page instead of the expected div visibly (minified)... and everything breaks. To do this, * not * add the code in the CSS file from there and the only way to have it show the div (which show no visual indicators since the CSS is essentially lost who would do it, CTRL-Z to undo the last step. It cancels the CSS presentation as the only content in the HTML file, and * is * display a div with the name I had given him. 8. If I then change div widths or position, it saves these changes in the CSS file, it seems that it is only when inserting new div tags after another is a problem third div inside the container is when it starts choking; no overlap).

It is repeatable, desktop or laptop, running the same version. I tried to save after each insert div, only at the beginning, only rescue code view, split only...

I tried looking for someone else having this problem and must not be worded research properly, impossible to find someone else saw it. It's weird.

If someone can point me to something to try then workaround is not necessary, it would be appreciated.

  • How to convert the side Server includes in the library items in DW CS4? Also change page website to .html .shtml files?

I inherited our Web site created in DW with server side includes the column header, footer and navigation.  I don't know that anything on the server side includes.  I have a hosting company for the online site.  I don't know what that is a 'local web server' and did not have a set on toward the top on my computer - I know.

I want to remove the server side includes the code <!-virtual = "" / head.htm #include '-> out of the body of the pages of the site and insert the code for the server side includes (the footer, header and nav). "  But I also want to be able to continue to make global changes to these files.

Can I convert a server side includes the elements of library, and if so, how do I do this?  I'm still not real familiar with library items, but I know that I can make changes to their topic and make them take effect globally within the site.

And can I change all of the web pages that are now all appointed to .html .shtml.  And can I change the names of files in the window of the local files in DW?

Thanks, I'm trying to achieve its manageable site for my level of knowledge in DW.

Instead of dumbing down of the website which apparently works, why don't improve you your skill set and get warm & fuzzy with Server-Side Includes?

Installation of Apache on a Windows computer will take you about 10 minutes.

    http://www.wampserver.com/en/

SSIs are much more effective than the library items.  Lilies require you to republish the entire site whenever you change an element.  SSIs fill changes on the side server so that you don't need to republish the entire site whenever you edit & publish a SSI.  On larger sites, it is a huge time saver.

Rename to .html .shtml files is not necessary to use library items. In fact, you can use SSIs and Lily on the same .shtml pages if you wish.

  • Missing page layouts when creating new file

    Hi all

I use the current version of the DreamWeaver CC. When I go to File > New > blank Page > HTML, I see only two layouts in the layout box:

    • 2 fixed columns, sidebar, header and footer right
    • 3 fixed columns, header and footer

Help of DreamWeaver (http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/css-layouts.html) says "you can choose from 16 different layouts."

Does anyone have an idea on what has happened to the other page layouts?

    Thank you

    Douglas

CC is HTML5-centric now if only 2 page layouts are available.  Previous versions of DW had more options but these page content layouts code which is considered by many to be obsolete by today's standards.

If you need more options, check out FluidGrid Layouts. Or simply change the pixels to % CSS widths in 2 layouts provided.

In addition to creating your own layouts, customized with CSS Designer, you might jumpt start your projects with one of these popular frameworks:

  • Can I remove my exported html bookmark file after I re any and it merged with my restoration of my old favorites? Even with the json file?

I recently reinstalled my OS on a new drive and have just successfully restored my old favorite and imported all the new bookmarks that I had saved from the OS install. I just want to know if it is safe to remove the json file I have restored from since it was on the old disk I want to format and I can also delete the html file I created by exporting my new bookmarks until I started this process?
    Marc

You can keep a backup of the old file or make backups, backups JSON on the new computer.

You can decide for yourself if you would have a use of this file.

If all bookmarks have been restored successfully, then you won't need the backup, and you can create a new backup regularly if you have modified or added bookmarks.

Take a look in your Home.dwt file to the top, between thesection. I think that when a model is saved/created by Dreamweaver inserts an editable 'head '.

If its in the file Home.dwt, then it should be in all the other pages created from the template. Simply insert your css like below:

    Insert here the CSS

If it is not in your file already Home.dwt to create an editable region for the specific css of the page:

Save the Home.dwt file, and this region is expected to propagate to pages from the model

Also please take into account the fact that any new styles css for a particular page should go in the code AFTER the link to your existing css file. This ensures that the new css styles will too drive css styles in your linked css file.

When you use the bar consul programming tool and go to the editor style of the page displays the CSS file. It says I have 0 rules. on my server, I deleted the CSS drop a downloaded it yet again, I deleted and re-uploaded the page problem. I even renamed the page and the problem still persists.

  • CSS exported HTML edition

    Hello community,

I was using a third-party provider to insert a form of payment in the Muse. Essentially, there was a problem with the form not listed is not in some browsers. So after talking to the developers third party provider, they gave me a rule to change:

If you go to the URL of a gift (http://www.communitylinc.org/donate.html) and right click on the page, you will see an option to view the page source.

The rule that is causing the problem is in this CSS file:

    techissue.jpg

In this file, instead of the code saying webkit-appearance: no to tell webkit-appearance:radio instead.

I have exported HTML of Muse and found the right rule, edited and now I don't know if I have to re - download the edited CSS or how I can make it appear on the browser. Is it still possible?

    Thank you!

Muse will recognize that your file has changed and overwrite your changes when you update. You can add manually in change it anytime you export / publish Web site if that makes sense. I hope this has helped!

I'm trying to export an entire site, including graphics and css files. I know that this service exists in InDesign. Basically, I worked on a site with an image file which has all sorts of images that I have worked, to test how it would look. So, rather than go back and try to think of what file was not good, I want to be able to export all html files and include the css and image files.

If it is not possible to do, anyone know a thing to collect images?

Simply download the HTML using DW. Only referenced (linked) image files
in the HTML code will be downloaded.

  • How can I compress javascript and CSS files in my export of Muse?

How can I compress javascript and CSS files in my export of Muse? When I test my Web site with website speed test in pingdom (http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/)

the site has a low rating in the category of the number of CSS and javascript files because there is so much of... Is there a way to reduce the number of CSS files

    that are generated?

In addition, the code we can place in Muse to tell Javascript to load last so it won't slow down the site are there?

    Thank you

    Theresa

Regarding your first question. There is no way to compress the code CSS or javascript in files of Muse.

When Muse exports a site it generates the CSS code for each page. There is no way to combine code similar to a lot of pages on a site by using Muse. (it is not the same process that build you using Dreamweaver or php coding)

  • Is it possible to display the index of the real estate code I created in the page html, css layout?

    Hi all!

First of all, I'm really sorry if this is a bad question, but I found this option in other html tools (like PHP storm) and tried many options in CS6, without success.

What I do: just started to learn html 5 with an online course (without a master, a few videos), so I'm really a user "rookie".

I am working to put an image in html using css for formatting, so:

    1 - the index.html, I wrote the following code:

    < figure class = "foto-legenda" >

    < img src = "_imagens/image.jpg" >

    < figcaption >

    Test image < h3 > < / h3 >

    Legend of the Image Test < p > < /p >

    < / figcaption >

    < / figure >

    2. If, then, I need to define properties for "foto-legenda", in "file.css", like border etc, and what I've done:

    }

    {Figure.foto - legenda}

    border: 8px #F00 solid;

    }

Far, so what it s works fine, but the question is:

After I have written "< figure class ="foto-legenda...»" ', in html code, I want to write in css page, a bit of code and retrieve the indicator for the options that I started on the HTML page.

For example, in css page, I'm starting to write 'figure'and get the hint of 'illustration' or 'figure class' (all from "figure"), after you selected the desired setting and start writing get «foto...» ", " foto-legenda " indicator.

    I hope it's clear.

    Thank you in advance.

Sorry, it does not work like that.

First of all, define the class of CSS selector.  Save your CSS file.

    .foto-legenda {border: 1px solid #CCC; padding: 0.5em}

Now, when you type the class HTML = "foto... indicators of code will give you the class in a drop-down list.  See screenshot.

As far as I KNOW, the code in DW CSS hints never picked up HTML classes.
