  I use the modal Enkitec LOV. I have a region that, key pressed, calls a PLSQL procedure to copy values (including the LOV Modal element) of the background in the current. The modal LOV element does not show the new value on the screen - it's empty. Looking at the Info session, the value is copied to the item, if anyone knows how I can do the Modal LOV refresh itself to show the new value on the screen?

  The problem that you run has to do with the fact that there are two values involved: display and return. When you use $s as you are, it only defines the return value and the display value is set to null. Try this:

  $s('PX_ITEM_NAME', 'returnvalue', 'displayvalue');
  

  Another thing you could do is to take advantage of the setValuesByReturn method. The idea is to move the return value and the method will search, and if it finds a match it will set the display and return values. Because I had to include a customized version of jQuery by calling the method is a bit strange:

  Hi Zack, looks like you want to see EMPNO designating the LOV, correct?

  According to me, which caused "trouble" is the 'Display, return, & Default sort Columns(Value Required)' field and you want to settle for other columns assignments.

  By default, the field "Display, return, & default sort columns (high-grade)" allows you to specify the column in which you want to display on the screen after selecting (in your case 1 for EMPNO) and allows you to specify which column to save on the DB (in your case also 1 for EMPNO).  So, I spent it to 1.1

  Once this is done, it is not supposed yo have EMPNO mapped the area of the 'column Element '. & Mapping (s)  This field is for OTHER items that are not your LOV point.

  I hope this makes sense now.

  I also put the DA never run.  It is not at all necessary.

  Let me know if I did not understand what you want to accomplish.

• Enkitec LOV on fire twice for entrable value change?

  I created an example where I have a LOV Enkitec which maps to 2 different elements when a value is selected.
  I also have a change event on which adds a line in a tabular form and insert the 2 points in columns (for this example: Ename and Sal).  If you pop open the LOV and select one of the answers, everything fills as it should.   For example, if you select Johnson, a new row is added and Ename Sal get supplemented by item1 and item2.  Now, if you press enter in the item Enkitec LOV type Paul, it seems to work as expected.  However, if you click anywhere on the page, it looks new and adds another line with the same values.
  Can someone explain what happens when you enter a value in the LOV and press on different input as selecting the value after the opening of the LOV?  If no data is necessary, please let me know.

  Instead of

  OnChange = setValues ();

  I went to a DA who is running on the LOV onchange event.  It is a specific event in the LOV that triggers when the values really changes and not only when the text field does.

  I also added an if to setValues while only if P1_ITEM1 has to run values.

  If ($v ('P1_ITEM1')) {}

  I think that it does what you want.  But let me know if it doesn't.

• Problems with the service of version 9.0.2? Sudden research questions of text in the output WinHelp files

  I've been building and using the same aid project in multiple versions of Robohelp since 2002 about.  Upgrade to Robohelp 9 earlier this year (Office 2010/Win 7), properly migrated project in RH9 and Word 2010 RH7 and W2003.  Despite being really bug RH9 and doesn't play well with Word, were able to continue to build multiple versions of the project without successfully exit WinHelp 2000 compilation problem, no error messages all basically good.  Until the 9.0.2 update.  Of course, the update fixed the issues of speech, now HR and Word 2010 not play very well. But now I get the dreaded "cannot search, display tab: error 177' Message in compiled projects.»  This same message now appears on WIn XP machines that have the project distributed.  Also find full-text search is available on the Win 7 despite the warning, but on a XP machine machine only partial text is available for searching (so this is not the question of Win7 re display of files HLP - win 7 has all the patches of register machine and MS. HLP Patch installed to run and has not been a problem to date).  Coincidence?  This started to happen since the 9.0.2 update installed?  (The cause of the error message doesn't seem to be the traditional corrupt file GID on PC like on XP machines before the new installed help file, it will be deleted).  Have I somehow changes the settings in the HPJ file or another project file generation?  Is this a problem of indexing that I can fix?  If so someone at - it ideas?  Come to think of him with ideas at all about what is happening here and how can I solve this problem?  (I'm considering back in the initial installation of RH 9 (implemented with Bugs) and see what happens but fear I might have inadvertently installed something version 9.0.2 )

  Another interesting question is that the immediately previous version of this project (built with the Buggy of RH9 version) re - unfolds on the other computers and XP very well.  So why I suspect 9.0.2?  Anyone with some help pls?  Where I could look in settings (if any) to correct the problem?  I tried to re - create a completely new project with the same word documents, but using the origingal. HPJ file and the same problem presented?

  With a lot of relunctance, (probably because of being on holiday and in the middle of the Christmas break), I've rolled up their sleeves and rebuilt the project from scratch. (What else do you ndo when on vacation?-can think of several things). The project is bitmaps quite large, consisting of 38 separate Word Documents, 908 topics, 731 jumps, 907 keywords and 37.  This project was built in 2000 and enjoyed time has reached this size. Each year, some 15 to 20 of the draft versions are built as subjects and content changes.  The propject resulting is distributed on a netwrok involving 3 operating sites and more than 250 terminals.

  The first step in correcting this problem was to place all word documents in word 2010 format (38) project.  Before that documents previously saved in Word 2003 format and open in Word 2010 (compatibility) mode.  On the assumprtion there was a problem of compatibility between 2003 and 2010 word format causing the compiled research questions.  I saved all the latest known version of 'Good' of the project documents in this mode.

  Once all documents saved to Word 2010 format, each document has been individually then imported into the new project, the project saved and built after each document imported.  This was done for was the origin of the problem to ensure that a particular document.  None appeared.

  Once that all the 38 documents any OCD has created the last well-known CNT file.  Imported into this new project in the form of measurements of the CNT old file rather than use then file itself.  Project saved and rebuilt again.  Still good.  I used the text instead of the CNT file again just to try to eliniate hidden, coding of corruption in the file of the CNT.

  Then the sequences to browse relevant have been updated in order to meet the requirements, project archived for proken links (found nothing) or any other error.  Once again.  Nothing found.  Re-built and still saved.  No problem identified with the project.

  At this point the last well-known version has been restored in a new project just in Word 2010, format, changes in the (next) version of fault had not yet been restored to the project.  5 files in this version had a lot of changes that I have taste not individually make each change.  In order to reduce to a minimum rework them, I took the opportunity to copy the text of the documents and paste the text into the new word format documents (rather than import something that may have corrupt and coding). In each case I deliberately does not include the first or the last lines of the documents in the copied text, again try to eliminate the import of any coirruption that may have existed?  Yet once, save and rebuild the project after each import text.

  Final score, a return without erors project.  Tested on 2 different local machines (both running Win 7 with Winhelp patch applied) no error returned.  Deploy the updated on the work network this morning.  (XP systems), yet once no erors returned and full don't search feature now available.

  So, what was the problem?  Not sure that I'll never know, (I have a second project on another topic which is still in Word 2003 format, built under this version of RH9 and she does not have the same problems I had in this project).  Whatever, it was an absolute pain, many lost hours, but a positive result (finally).

• Is it possible to change data in a cell 'mirror' + RESEARCH questions?

  The idea is the following:

  I have an accounting base numbers document implemented that automates the process of encoding of individual invoices, clients, with their price + coupons service announcements and summarizes the accounting.

  Information boards is implemented for individual receipts, or a nicer individual record to customer research with the research

  That's where I met 3 barriers:

  (1) I was wondering if it was possible for a field in one datasheet to other mirrored? :

  -L' idea is NOT to have a simple '= A$ $1 ' or ' = LOOKUP (REF., range, content) not allowing editing. "

  -It is a cell on A page SHARE the SAME content in another cell in the spreadsheet b: change in the sheet A or B would automatically change the field of mirror in the other sheet. It would be a very neatly to create a form for the encoding of the data! Somehow, I have my doubts about what is a feature of the numbers, but I was wondering if anyone knew a workaround? In other words: a field at several places.

  (2) instead of a SEARCH function that the problem of data modified in the original table (example: a Bills (past) sheet being affected by changes made to a price list): is there an equivalent of 'paste values' to that?

  (3) I have a 'General' Journal (and a table) to display financial data from my "bills", but the info is basically just a table with the "' values sought my table"bills ". It works very well with the "auto-fill" when I manually adjust the size of the table, as the invoice automatically filled when increasing the size of the table. I was wondering if there was a) an easier way to do what I know and b) a way for the "accounting" array to dynamically adjust its size according to the number of invoices (same result as one)).

  Hi Christian,

  Brief answers to three questions:

  1. # Research reports are always a sense - entered into a data cell can be collected by a formula in a cell of the second, but the data entered into the second cell will not create a change in the first cell. A cell can contain a "fixed" value, which can be changed manually in this cell, or it may contain a formula that combines the data of one or more other cells and eventually made some calculations before displaying the result.
     A cell that contains a formula of edition replaces the formula with the data entered.
  2. The formulas are always "live". If the result of the formula is based on data specific to a cell, then a change in the data (e.g. a price) in this cell will change the result calculated by the formula and displayed in the cell. The result can be 'fixed' (made to the remain the same, not "fixed") using values of dough (renamed paste formula results), but this can be done by using a formula.
  3. Size (number of rows) of the table 'accounting' (or ' table on the "journal") can not be adjusted automatically depending on the size (number of rows) of the table "bills". In the "accounts" table formulas are automatically added as every cell in the column of the first row header not the above one row being added contains the same formula. Replacing any copy of this formula with the calculated results by that copy breaks the chain and the formula prevents fill automatically new lines added at the end of the table.

  Some general considerations:

  All data should be entered only once.

  Data entry must be separated from the calculation to avoid the accidental destruction of the formulas.

  Data 'Immutable' (eg. current prices, data on clients) may be imposed and looked up from lookup tables.

  This has the potential of growth to a large set of data. Numbers are known to slow down considerably with the large data sets (and 'big' happens quite quickly).

  With regard to price changes:

  Use the INDEX and MATCH the prices of research allowed the transaction date to control the INDEX column will return a price. Each price change (or set of price changes) is entered in a new column, marked with the data hence these prices are in effect. Price unchanged compared to the previous date of change should also be included in the new column.

• Windows Live Mail 2011 research question

  I have recently installed Windows Live Mail 2011 and since I installed it, I noticed that when I enter a word or name, or e-mail address in the search for a message function, it very often does not find the email (s) concerned. I come to find the message manually. On the old version of Live mail, everything worked fine.

  Any ideas on what could be the cause and how to fix this problem?

  Respectfully, Ronnie, who is not very useful. Windows Live Mail depends on Windows Search for his research works, so if it does not work, there is a problem with WS and not with WLMail. The question is quite on the topic in this forum, and Dave is not likely to get a quick settlement more in windowslivehelp.com.

  @Dave:

  First things to check is that your storage folder is being indexed and if mail messages files are being indexed with the properties and content. In WLMail, locate your store folder by opening the worksheet Options (Ctrl-Shift-O), the Advanced tab, click Maintenance , and then store the fileopening. Note the path.

  Open Indexing Options in the control panel (just type indexing options in the start search box). Click on the Edit button, navigate to your storage folder and ensure that the box is checked.

   

  Click the Advanced button and open the tab file types ensure that the check box next to the eml and nws rss extensions are checked and that the description of filter shows Windows Live MIME filter. Click on each extension in turn and make sure that the properties of the Index and the content of the file is selected at the foot of the dialogue for each of them.

   

  If these settings are what they should be and you make changes, try solving the problems of search and indexing in the Panel. Start typing the search and indexing in the search box of the start up until you can see and select find and fix problems with Windows Search at the top of the results panel. Do not select the mail option; Windows Search considers Windows Live Mail messages as files, not e-mail.

   

  If after all that your searches don't work always, after the return.

  I created a version simplified a problem, I am trying to understand on http://apex.oracle.com (it happens on the two Apex 4.1 and 4.2).

  I have a field of date and a button that opens a modal page; When the date is changed, a dynamic action is triggered to assign a URL on an element hidden with the new date, for example f? p = 2188:2:105346728385780:P2_DISPLAY:21 - Aug-14

  Whenever the button is pressed, it will open the modal page and display the value of P2_DISPLAY.

  The dynamic action that opens the modal page has a defined static URL like & P1_URL.

  My confusion is that when I change the date, I can see on Session State and HTML P1_URL organizes the correct URL with the new date; However, when I click on the button to open the modal, it displays the value of the page when was initially loaded. For example:

  • If the page load with 21/08/2014, no matter how many times I change the date, it will always show 21/08/2014.
  • If I change the value at 31/07/2014 and refresh the page, then it will show the 31/07/2014 no matter how many times I change the date.

  Two questions:

  1. When the plug-in receives the value of (the Session State and the input HTML to P1_URL element have the correct date)?
  2. How can I fix without having to submit the page?

  As for the suggestion of 2...

  If you run the page, as it is now (at least in a recent version I watched) you will see that when you changed the Date you can see that P1_DATE is defined in the session.

  It's b/c you have a dynamic action that works PL/SQL and declares the value of P1_DATE. So, instead of setting the value P2_DISPLAY of the session in the URL, you can use this P1_DATE session state that is set when this is handled via Ajax.

  If you were to change the action that affects your url "f?" p = & APP_ID.: 2: & APP_SESSION. "(or just use it as a static URL in the plugin) then changed P2_DISPLAY to have a value based on the value of P1_DATE it should work.

• OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 - research question

  Hello

  We went to OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1. When you click apply in the quick bar to generate one of our dashboard, reports appear 'SEARCH' forever.

  When I check the status of the 'Administration' - 'Manage the Sessions' report, I can see that queries are completed in 5 sec.

  When taxes on the page, the reports display correctly. This question has repercussions that a single area of the object / dashboard and only some reports.

  Is someone knows this specific problem/bug? Apparently, we have the bug in Firefox. Only in Internet Explorer.

  The issue was found. There is a bug in the version 11.1.1.7 with Internet Explorer.

  The '11.1.1.7.140114' patch is to fix the problem.

• ADF Table: LOV iterator question

  I have a modifiable ADF table, with a column that contains a LOV (select only one). This LOV gets its data from another object from view. We have a LOV maintenance screen that fills view object of the LOV with data.

  My problem is when you insert new data into the view of the LOV object, then go to the ADF editable Table that contains the column LOV LOV new data does not appear in the choice of a Select. However, if I open a new browser window and open the app, I see new data LOV. New data of LOV shows also in the database. It's telling me that iterator of the LOV does not update correctly.

  However, since I have a Table of the ADF, the LOV and all other columns are concentrated in a tree of liaison and, respectively, iterator of the Table of the ADF (in links to the page). So I don't know how I can directly access iterator of the LOV and refresh it.

  How to refresh the iterator LOV?

  We're currently on ADF 11.1.1.3.

  Well, I have this workaround works properly... It was a combination of settings that need to happen. I'm not crazy about it because it seems ineffective - but it works.

  (1.) I have exposed the view line class my ADF Table Imp edit object from view (and accessors included). Accessors included so I had programmatic access to view my LOV accessors. I had two Accesors for I can have a LOV switching on my LOV attribute.

  2.) then in class RowImpl, I went on the Get Accessor LOV accessor methods, I've done below, then refresh us the view accessor.

  3.): after that, I go to the iterator of my Table ADF Edit (in bonds), the Always value. I don't know why, but it did not work without this parameter.

  4.) then in my ADF Page Backing Bean, who holds the editable ADF table, I had to run this code once when rendering the Table of the ADF gets. Basically, re - run query to the ADF Edit Table iterator. Then refresh the interface component user LOV. The LOV object was bound with a get and set accessor in my grain of support.

• WFR - vendor research question

  I installed WFR 11 GR 1 material. The project that I use is "packaged AP Project_1007CA.sdp.

  I was playing with the configuration of the ASSA provider field. In the tester (not web auditor), when I click on the search for 'seller', it gives me a popup. I entered the search string e.g. "India" and click on the "Search" button, it gives me below error.

  Error in the handling of action defined by the user:

  Processing of documents has been suspended, because of a script error.

  Module "VENDORSEARCH", "OnAction" event, line 6869, offset 0:

  (& H80004005) Entry with the specified identity was not found.

  Please check the script for the class invoices.

  Initially, it was working absolutely fine. Then I made changes in the configuration of the field of the ASSA seller. I did not have any customization of the script.

  I'm stuck, I'm not able to return to operational status.

  I made below changes in field of the seller assa properties.

  1. in the name format for class, I added

  [$VENDOR_NAME] _ [VENDOR_INDEX]

  2. in the format of content field I added

  [VENDOR_INDEX]

  [$VENDOR_NAME]

  [ADDRESS_LINE1]

  [ADDRESS_LINE2]

  [CITY]

  [STATE] [ZIP_CODE]

  Then I closed the windows open all BDUS (designer, Auditor), instance RTS stop / start. and it started working...
