• Modules in separate projects

  Because several projects need the same part of one project, I decided to put a module out of the part. I made a flex project and requested a module and moved all the code of the module and the project.

• CAN the c series modules and drivers XNET and Ethernet expansion chassis cRIO compatibility issues

  Hello

  I encountered a problem with my current setup which was not picked up by the tool advise cRIO or by the engineer of applications OR that we used to check our configuration before starting the project.  It turns out that the NI 9853 CAN modules require a XNET driver that is not compatible with the NI 9149 expansion chassis.

  We currently have a system with a cRIO NI 9068 with general IO and some CAN controller and CAN open modules in a carrycot and an Ethernet NI9149 with more general IO expansion chassis and more CAN and CAN open an another pod remote modules and all of this should work under water, so I can not move the modules of the expansion chassis to the chassis controller without a lot of overhaul of the system and equip and a team of angry engineers and technicians.

  I have developed the FPGA code for the 9068 OR and have CAN and CAN open networks works with happiness.  Then I tried to copy the same FPGA code on the expansion chassis and it compiles, but when I try to launch it I get the error-63184 code.  After long calls OR support, and tries to install the missing drivers on the expansion chassis, we discovered that XNET is not compatible with this chassis.

  Can anyone suggest the best course of action?  Is there an expansion chassis Ethernet that will support XNET?  I have here no information online about this compatibility issue that I can't find?

  I'll be communication with DIRECTLY, but from previous experience of the "odd" questions, I know the community often hold the key.  Any suggestions gratefully received.

  It's official.  CAN open modules are not compatible with the expansion chassis.  I have them moved to RIO and will get the upgraded pods.

• How to create a mobile blog page layout, combining the Business Catalyst Modules and function of mobile design of Adobe Muse?

  The title says it all. I love the ability of Adobe mobile design Muse and tablet of layouts and became very fond of the workflow between Adobe Muse and Business Catalyst. The only problem I found is the ability to integrate the module blog on a drawing of the design or the mobile tablet. I understand that Business Catalyst has insert you a code of the tag to create a page template for the blog to sit in but is possible to have a mobile phone and Tablet for the same blog layout? I'd love if visitors read my blog from their phone, did not have to move from a phone on a desk combination available just to read the blog. Once they have read / switch the blog, they can no longer return to the mobile version of Web site due to the page template that I posted to the blog. Overall, I want just the ability to have the blog to adapt to all mobile, tablet and desktop versions. Any ideas?

  It's a very interesting question. Your regular blog module should be fine for the tablet. For some time I did a mobile in British Colombia, but I think you can add a template to another blog layout module and use it. You should be able to actually build a custom template in British Colombia for that as well. Maybe pop on the BC Forum and see. There is a guy named Liam on the BC forums who probably knows more about BC some of the engineers. ;-)

  You can also add a link to the mobile device quite easily. You can even hide the link and show the iff only that the user is on a phone using the {system_visitorDeviceClass} tag in British Colombia.

  I'm back in British Colombia after a period of absence and have created a temporary site. If some changes are good, I have a terrible time to access the modules and tags. When I open the Business Catalyst Panel in Dreamweaver under Modules I have are all Modules of the Site (Pages, content owner and various), Web forms and social media. Nothing like events, Ad rotators, or Navigation, under data all I have is "No data available for this page." It is obvious that I have to do something to get the list of tags and modules, but what?

  I do not have the file base.css, ModuleStyleSheet.css, layout.css or styles of phone.css active in the html page header. What is my problem? I prefer to create my own css styles, but I'll do what I can to make this work.

  I have no way to set up an online store. Long, long ago, I was able to implement a completely custom website, example and still access all the tags and insert them. Now, I can't even find them. I need to be able to build the site quite far as my client can see what the site will look like. Right now I have a home page customized without navigation. Nothing, zip.

  After reading and reading the tutorials, it seems to me to be able to build a navigation bar in Dreamweaver and then download the file and the css to control the site of BC and make the NAV drop a custom module, but the tutorials are also nebulous that I can't be sure it will work. I'm going to anyway.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. My skills are average to advanced with static sites. It's my first real brush with dynamics of coding using CS6.

  Hi Sheryl,

  The admin and DW share the new tag module concept. Tags if there is no availibe to layout your in will not show anything, Modules will see the aalways as a tab.

  If your not to see the other things the Site can't be a plan that supports other functions. Basic Web is real base for examole.

  I'm not sure wha tyou mean with regard to styles. If you have chosen a model it may have any other style sheets, but a raw never BC site has the css of modulestylesheets.

• Using the modules of different projects

  I try to reuse the existing modules of different projects to compile in another new project, but it simply doesn't!

  I have 2 projects with the following modules in them:

  Project: MyModuleProjA1, MyModuleProjA2, MyModuleProjA3

  Project b: MyModuleProjB1, MyModuleProjB2, MyModuleProjB3

  Now, I created a new project called project c, in which I want to use MyModuleProjA2 and MyModuleProjB3 as well as a new module that belongs to this alone, that would be MyModuleProjC1.

  First I tried directly to copy the folder bin-debug the project MyModuleProjA2.swf has and of MyModuleProjB3.swf from the project b bin-debug folder, in bin-debug the project c, but when I ran file main application of Project c, he throwed hell lots of runtime errors, without even loading the initial screen. It was all black.

  I wonder if there is another way to compile?

  I tried searching on the net, who speaks like - link-report = lnkreport.xml - compiler options, charge-externs=lnkreport.xml,-garder-tous-type-seectors = true, - allow-source-path-to overlap = true. But nothing has worked yet (or I'm not using the right way?)

  Basic idea is to reuse the code base instead of duplicating those modules in c. Since there will be a lot of changes\enhancements to these modules, I don't want to encode in two locations all the time want to just maintain the code of the modules in one place and reusing just it is swf in other projects.

  I use Adobe Flash Builder 4.6, but project SDK is A 3.6.

  Well, I'm not familiar with Maven yet.

  I solved it by changing the module setting to "do not optimize" and resused in my other projects. I think it would be a little bigger in file size it would have been if I had optimized. But it's okay for me...

  Using RSL with modules and scheme

  RSL is designed to work effectively with the modules and the scheme. When you use RSL with modules and scheme, note that:

  • Main applications only load RSL that is necessary, but to create placeholders for the Framework RSL rest. This allows the sub-application or module load other Framework RSL into the main application when they need.

  • Scheme and modules share default RSL frame.

  • Scheme and modules can share custom RSL if you configure the RSLS loaded in the application domain.

  RSL using placeholder

  When you compile an application with Flex, the default behavior is to compile the application against the framework RSL (or by default). When the application runs, it only loads the Framework RSL, it actually uses and creates placeholders for the Framework RSL rest. When the application loads a module or a sub-application requiring one of the RSL setting for which there is a placeholder, the sub-application or module and then load that RSL into the main application.

  If a module or a sub-application requires a framework RSL already loaded, it will not load the RSL again. Instead, it will use the existing RSL.

  To ensure use of the placeholders for Framework RSL, set remove-unused-rsls the compiler argument is true when compiling the main application, scheme and modules. It is the default value.

  The default Framework RSL is loaded in the highest area of application that contains a placeholder for this RSL. As a result, modules or scheme can share RSL which had been loaded by other modules or the scheme, as long as you don't limit the area in which the RSL has been loaded.

  Seen this scenario:

  I have an RSL to a custom component. I use this custom only in a module of my application component. The result will be that the application does not load the RSL and it will load only when the module is loaded, but before the module.

  If that is correct, I have another question:

  The main application can follow the progress cargo module and display it with a for example progress bar. How to track the loading progress of the RSLS loaded before the module?

  OR

  The main application is the module loading, and when the module finishes loading I need to use a preloader class as of the main application for the module to track the loading of the RSL?

  Modules do not have a preloader as a demand. You can follow the status of the module being loaded, but not the status of the RSL. If you would like this feature please create an enhancement request in the JIRA bug database. Thank you.

  do you have a calendar on the release of Module and Navigation/NavigationParsley to the repository maven for Cairngorm 3.0.13?

  I am currently getting errors using the 3.0.12 version, which I think is due to the different version of the compiler flex for 3.0.12 (i.e. 4.0.0.x), while the version of the compiler flex 3.0.13 is 4.1.0.x, which is the version that we use for the construction of our project, too.

  Don't want to get on your nerves, just trying to get a feel for speed and to plan ahead for our integration of it / hudson , great job on the transition to maven makes life a lot easier! If we could help you on that front (I don't really have what is now missing out the Module/Navigation/NavigationParsley for 3.0.13, maybe I could help?)

  Good news: we've just released new libraries as 3.0.14. The library of navigation left RC to 1.0.

• Microsoft Support pages are not viewable in Firefox (I tried to disable the modules and plugins)

  When trying to view a Microsoft Support article, I see the following (attached). It lacks all the text. This seemed to be correlated with the installation of 35 Firefox or Google Chrome 40.
  It does not correctly in IE 11 either.

  I tried to disable modules and Flash enabled. I find it very strange. I use a strong security product, have the latest version of Flash Player (although I turned off after that I tried to reproduce the problem because there is currently a 0-day).

  How can Firefox 6 be considered an "upgrade"?
  How can I 'recover Firefox 4 or 5'? -there is no point in using a browser which limits as many sites the necessary module!

  Try to update all your modules in Firefox. You can also inquire by developers to Add - we for a version update & Firefox 6.0 took charge of the Add-ons that are not currently Compatible with Firefox 6.0.

• Satellite A210 - cannot install common module and driver display

  Just down to XP, downloaded drivers from toshiba and the installation was completed with an error not saying no driver found for my hardware. That's happened with the common Module and ATI Display Driver.

  I think that you just tired to install common Modules is not supported on this laptop.
  That is one reason why you can not install it.

  With regard to the display driver.

  I try to have a Ping of Parallax))) to work with my cRIO ultrasonic sensor. I have connected it to an e/s digital 9403 module and uses the PulseGen, SW.vi example.   Hi digilogik,

  You can post how you have changed the code, so we have a better understanding of what to expect.  Brief looking at the example code I couldn't guess why a long 10 ms pulse is the only thing you see if what you did was replace the power indicator 0 with IO nodes.

  However, if your end goal is to get a pulse of 5 usec, then the NI 9403 module will not respond to your needs as the updated module is 7usec max.  You would be able to do what you need with a NI 9401 module, with the draw back you go to 32 channels up to 8 with the 9401 vs the 9403.
