Monitor a URL of this XML content generates

We have some URLS when you navigate to them, you will see XML content. What we want to do is to have in place who will go to these URLS and a FAILUREto find error string XML content. If this error string is detected, we want an alert generated.

Is this possible? Which agent would be used?

It's quite possible with Foglight APM components, particularly with the devices of the APM. They allow you to only look at captured http (s) network traffice use network sniffing technology.

Http (s) sniff can run either physical or virtual (i.e. on the VLANs).

See edocs.quest.com on:

  • Applications and application servers performance monitoring

    • Application performance monitoring and the real user experience

Basically, you set up a filter of success for a particular request path and check the response content using a regular expression.

  • Is it possible to determine/set MIME type for the content generated by the CFC?

    In short, my onCFCRequest() method is a manual invocation of the component and sends it the arguments.

    Let's say, for example, I call a component located at www.coms.template

    Is it possible for me to do something in a method called in this model component so that when she returns the generated content, and we are now in the onCFCRequest() method, I can watch the content generated and determine/game/use the appropriate MIME type?

    My methods can generate JSON, WDDX, CSS, Javascript and HTML, and I want to make sure that they are used like the mimetypes appropriate when their content is sent to the browser:

    • Text/json = JSON
    • WDDX = text/xml
    • JavaScript = application/x-javascript
    • CSS = text/css
    • HTML = text/html
    • Other = text/plain

    Well... you know what content you produce, so that the calling code do not need to guess, you can just tell him. Return a structure that includes the response data only one key, and type in another.

    When I import this XML file do some tweaking with XML-rules, like adding a title.

    This.Apply = function (myElement, myRuleProcessor) {}

  • Problem loading XML content.

    Hello, when I open Dreamweaver CS6 I now get this message at the bottom right of the window and do not know what he's trying to tellme. Clicking on it does nothing.

    Meaasage is:

    Problem loading XML content.

    You have requested a language ("en_IL") that has no content available.

    In suggestions he shows English, United States.

    I don't know why this has happened. But I managed to get rid of this message on my computer. It seems "application.xml" file points to the incorrect language for content files folder.

    On my computer, the program is installed in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6. If you can navigate to this file using your file manager (in my case 'File Explorer', in point 8.1 of Windows), see the listed folders.

    On my installation, note that there is a record of language called "en_US", and there are a bunch of files that it contains. I think that this is where are stored the content files, for my installation. There is also a folder called "amt".

    Open the folder "amt". You will see that there is a load of files of the language, including en_IL and en_US. also note the files listed at the bottom of this issue, in particular the application file "." XML ". I edited this file by right clicking on it and choosing "Edit". However, when I tried to save the change, I got the message "access denied." I don't have permissions to edit and save the file. So, before editing the file once again, I changed the permissions of the file as follows.

    In the file Explorer, right click on the file "application.xml" and select "Properties". Click on the tab 'Security' "Edit" (to change the permissions). Select "users". In the lower window, click on "full control". Then click on 'Ok '. Then click 'Ok' again on the next page.

    Assuming that it worked, you should now be able to edit and save the file in the application ".» XML ".

    Then, right-click on the file name "application.xml" and choose "Edit". It's a text file, so I edited in the "Notepad". Halfway the page, you will see the term "en_IL". Change this to "en_US" (or whatever the name of the other folder is in your installation folder (see paragraph 3 above). Save the file.

    Open Dreamweaver and see if the message has disappeared, replaced by a tip.

  • run the XML content in a document

    Right now I use the following for a placement of XML workflow. Import XML with a script from the CS5 Scripting Guide. I shoot to the top of the group structure and I drag and drop the root XML element in the document, the document automatically adds pages and inserts the contents of the XML file. That's exactly what I would like to be able to do, but with a script. How can I accomplish this? Also, what would be the term appropriate for this sort of thing? I think that "reinvest the XML content in the document", but I wonder if there is a more precise term.

    Thanks for having an and any assistance provided.

    Pretty much just that, I think:

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    var frame = doc.masterSpreads[0].textFrames[0].override(doc.pages[0]);
    frame.markup(doc.xmlElements[0]);

    (Not tested).

  • Table of contents generated a mess

    With the help of FM 10 with a table of contents generated.  The first page of a chapter has 2 streams, "Chapter title" and "text body".  "Chapter title" exceeds "body text".  The 2 streams are not connected, because I don't want a headline to encroach on the text and ruin the formatting.  If the title is not related to what anyone, but the body is connected to the next page.

    Table of contents generated Finally, puts the title of the chapter under all the other entries for this page.  The following pages are fine, until the next title page.

    From other posts, I have moved around the page title (upwards and downwards), changed the names of stream and paragraph styles, and it still puts the flow changed title on this page.

    Two text streams are defined on the master page.

    It seems that all that is in the flow of a single displayed the first without worrying.  How can I fix?  How to read the stream in the correct order?

    Help.

    After several days of fighting, I decided to give in and make all a casting spanning 2 images.

    The TOC works, which should surprise no one.

    Just to be perverse, I went back and disconnected the executives still once, renamed them what, and continued to work on the table of contents.  So now do I want the way I want.

    Go figure.

    Not really intuitive, but does not require a hack, and I can live with the result.  As with many things with FM, once you find the rule, you can use it to do the job.  The observation of these rules is the hardest part.  Another 'undocumented feature' for books.

    Thanks for all the help.

  • LinkButton access the list of URLS in the xml file

    Hello

    I have a list of URLS in an external xml file.  When my linkbutton is clicked, I want a new tab to open with the URL of the xml file.  I don't know how to save the xml file in my mxml component so that I am able to reference the URL in the xml file.

    This is how my xml is formatted:

    < xml >
    < link > http://www.Google.com < / link >
    < / xml >

    This is what my linkbutton code looks like:

    < mx:itemRenderer >
    < mx:Component >
    < mx:LinkButton label = "hyperlink" textDecoration = "underline" color = "#FF9900" fontSize = "11" / >
    < / mx:Component >
    < / mx:itemRenderer >

    Thank you!

    What other data would be displayed? The number of columns? All this will be in the xml file. You do not have to display the url in a column, but it must be linked with data from other columns. Thus, when you click on this line, the url is available from the itemClick Manager and open the link.

    I'd use the XMLGEN package. But the environment team says no mounted drives in the future with the arrival of the EXADATA.

    NO HARD DRIVE MOUNTED, NO ACCESS TO THE DATABASE DIRECTORIES

    No UTL_FILE

    I need to use the REEL spool the resulting XML data of the SELECT query.

    SQL is a standard in my org, but I can do with a PL/SQL solution also to load data into a table (cannot use a COIL with PL/SQL)

    What I do is:

    1. a column of type CLOB to a xml_report of the loading of the above SELECT query table
    2. Then using SELECT * FROM xml_report to SPOOL the data to a file report.xml

    No need of XMLTYPE data behind. Xml data stream is fine for me.

    In addition, I need to validate the XML file, also using XSD.

    Problem is that the resulting lines of the select query are supposed to be from 15000 to 20000 bytes long.

    A Suggestion or a solution to this problem would be appreciated.

    (Sorry for the use of "BOLD", just to make it more readable and highlight the imp points)

    Bravo!

    Rahul

    It looks like I can choose only 4000 characters using the SELECT statement (please, correct me if I'm wrong)

    You use the right method.

    There is an implicit conversion from XMLType to the data type VARCHAR2 as expected by the function TO_CLOB, where the limitation, and the error.

    To serialize XMLType to CLOB, use the XMLSerialize function:

    SELECT XMLSerialize (DOCUMENT

    XMLELEMENT ("accounts",

    ...

    )

    )

    OF ANY_TABLE;

    For the rest of the requirement, I wish you good luck trying to spool the XML correctly.

    You may need to play around with the SET LONG and SET LONGCHUNKSIZE commands to operate.

    We use Kapost to store our content. We use bit.ly to redirect to our Kapost content.

    How can I make sure on 1 Landing Page, I am able to draw the specific part of the content purely by a unique identifier in the URL?

    Please help, Eloqua gurus!

    Hi Jorge,.

    Problaby, you can do this with a blind form submission and use? ContentID as a conditional step on submitting form blind. Here's a post showing you how to do this.

    Eloqua10: Trigger multiple actions with a click-through email (via 'send blind form')

    Basically, you generate a url that has? ContentID as a query string and then add the value according to your content. Then, you would perform processing conditional steps out of this value. You can email them the content or re - direct to content. You like.

    Hope that helps.

  • The webservice URL in connections.xml substitution

    Hello

    I started to learn the MAF Oracle recently, with the current available content in articles and documentation, I had an overview of the use of SOAP or REST services.

    We intend to achieve a business application. My question is related to the URL of webservice data control.

    When I create the Web service data control, the url is stored in connections.xml. This way I can actually work with my webservice deployed locally. but in real life, I can't know the url from the outset because it depends on the implementation and which server the services had been deployed. Considering this, how can I replace the url that is used by the MAF for data controls. What would be the typical approach that we must follow?

    Thank you

    Siva

    Siva, the solution to this is a CRG feature called "Service Configuration".  Essentially your application at startup can reach out to a remote WEBDAV server and download several files including the connections.xml file, which would contain any change in the URL.

    See the section in the dev guide: http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/mobile200/mobile/develop/maf-web-admin.htm#ADFMF23868
