. Mov smooth-> jerky .mp4...

OK, this one intrigues me.

I have this mov file without loss of 900MB nice and heavy.

It is exported to Screenflow at the best possible quality (without loss, 1280 x 720, audio 48 kHz...)

It plays fine on the mac.

Except on this machine, I have more sources, so I'll have to work with it.

I need to turn this into an mp4/h264, so it can be broadcast (end file goes to a mooc)

Interestingly, I have, when the .mov file shows a really smooth screen recording, any attempt and settings tweaks I did so far keep jerking results me. On my side, the file size is not a problem, so I put the levels up, reduced the value of middle managers, upped the bitrate.

No luck so far.

Anyone would be interested in checking this file and tell me if something can be done, and what are the parameters required to have one as smooth as the original .mov .mp4?

120 MB zip, inside is a 400 MB .mov file (deleted, this one has been well export...)

2 a-FolioOverlays - Multimedia.mov.zip - Google Drive

OK, the solution was to take the offending .mov Apple Lossless Animation file, import into the back of screenflow and export again as a ProRes Lossless with Alpha then re - encode the file with the media encoder.

Advantages: does the job

Cons: File was 7 GB (from a 900 MB file) and needed 3 steps.

Hopefully I can find a better solution

    It can also be a problem with the game running through Facebook server.  I noticed a difference in great step lately with Farmville on Facebook compared to when I started playing.  You should check to see if it seems to be the same on the other PC.  I noticed the problem on several machines in different places, so I know that it was not limited to a PC.

  • SpeedGrade CC 2014.2 build 8.2x51 reading smoothing / jerky 4K with GPU R9 295 x 2 - it uses only 2 GB of RAM (8.1 Windows 64-bit), Mac OS - same problem

    Hello, guys

    I have following configuration:

    I7-5960 x 4.3 GHz

    32 GB DDR4 RAM

    ATI 295 x 2 8 GB (Gpusniffer.exe watch 3072 MB on each unit of Hawaii)

    Samsung XP941 Ultra M.2 (> 1000 Mb/s)

    Some 850 Pro SSD for H.264 4 k source

    Latest version of Speedgrade CC 16/02/2015 (DUAL MONITOR SETUP - 2560 x 1440 for Interface and 4096 x 2160 for previewing)

    I work with a lot of short 10-15 seconds 4 K 4096 x 2160 24 fps H.264 clips of Panasonic GH4. Import their first CC as some stabilization warp, cut them, save the project and opened in Speedgrade CC all are fantastic smooth in first CC.

    Speedgrade - a simple color - exhibition, some keyframes and simple scoring correction for certain substances. I use the GPU acceleration for sure have lots of 4096 x 2160 4K 24 fps. But it is not flexible and smooth after that a correction is applied. Everything is jerky and freezes the first seconds, when I press 'PLAY'. I used resources, the Manager monitor tasks (Winodws 8.1 64-bit) and Afterburner. And there's what I discovered:

    • Afterburner shows the use of mono-GPU (as we know it for playback only 1 GPU used) the same amount as in first. SpeedGrade CC use 2, 5 GB of VRAM. Also, if I use one zero effect - accelerating gpu, like "transform", for example, imported first, I get "not enough GPU resources" message in Speedgrade. Afterburner shows, CC Speedgrade tried to use more, and then Max 3GB available VRAM during that time. So I turn off these effects, before you open a project in Speedgrade.

    • CPU is low (15%) use, perhaps a little lower, then in the first CC

    • Disc - 3-10%, H.264 is weak on this subject

    • RAM! -is the problem. I have been authorized to use the 29 GB of RAM for Adobe apps. Speedgrade CC use no more then 2-3 GB according to the the Task Manager (for most 2 GB) and 8.1 Windows resource monitor 64-bit Pro. After I finished with the color correction, a project open in first DC, work with lumteri on smooth and! First CC use 9 to 10 GB of RAM to play the same music video in full resolution smoothly!

    I already reinstalled everything, including drivers for the GPU, 8.1 for Windows and Adobe CC even result.

    MacBook Pro 15 retina end 2013 with i7-4960HQ/16 GB of RAM/Geforce 750 m UPDATE!

    Under Mac Os Yosemite 10.10.2 - same situation here. First CC use 5 GB (of 11 GB of available) 4096 x 2160 Prores 422 HQ and is usable, smooth with a few drops of frame.

    SpeedGrade CC uses 2.5 GB RAM of 4096 x 2160 and it is impossible to use plenty of 4096 x 2160. Only 1/2 resolution of overview is smooth and usable on the screen of the laptop. 4096 x 2160 externally connected through Thunderbolt monitor, it's a lot rougher, I think it's hard for 750 m with 2 GB of VRAM.

    UPDATE! Previous version (CC 2014) of first CC and CC Speedgrade Windows 8.1 64-bit - even situation.

    What do you think?

    My opinion - Speedgrade CC is not optimized for 4K resolution. First CC is good for 4K.

    BTW, for more information, latest AMD catalyst driver 14.12 omega has a problem with my R9 295 x 2 and engine reading Mercury (MPE) OpenCL - just black with sound screen, when I turn on the GPU acceleration. So I use the previous version of 14.9. With 14.12 GPUsniffer.exe found a device with 4 GB of VRAM GPU and a GPU with 3 GB of VRAM (normally obligatorily 3 + 3 GB 295 x 2 Dual GPU radeon chip).

    Yes

    So, finally, Speedgrade CC works 95% smooth time with 4096 * 2160 H.264. But it was necessary to turn off all effects in first Pro CC. Nothing new. I found a few discussions on this fact, but after that I spent some time with experiences.

    Stabilizer Warp even alone is enough to make Speedgrade CC really agitated. 'Transform' effect simply blocks Speedgrade CC with "GPU resources.

    Each effect uses some VRAM (for Warp stabilizer 200-300 MB). After you have disabled all effects had load VRAM under/near 2 GB for the little clip 4096 * 2160.

    First CC flies simply with unique x 290 or 295 x 2 (which is the only x 290 during playback). Even 3GB VRAM available software Adobe CC.

    PS Macbook Pro retina 15 "with Geforce 750 M 2 GB VRAM would work smoothly with Prores to half a preview/playback resolution - 2048 * 1080. CC CC SpeedGrade or Premiere Pro with 1/2.

  • Android Air As3 - jerky movement strategy Lag

    Hi, im new to this forum so please forgive me if I have a question in the wrong section.

    I have a problem with Android Air Performance when moving from a movieclip (interpolation) inside a movieclip to a strategy game.

    Let me explain what my structure looks like:

    I have a Movieclip named 'BG' 1280x720pixel preparing to drag Double click on the mouse event that works very well. Inside the BG movieclip, I have an another Movieclip called "Builder". The code below is the "constructor" to move. However, my problem is that when it moves on a Tween and I drag the movieclip "BG" at the same time, occurs a jerky movement.

    I tried to put the movieclip "Builder" in the same location on another layer than the movieclip "BG", by twisting the AS3 code and works fine but the manufacturer only moves from the stage and NOT in the BG movieclip.

    What I want is (located inside the BG movieclip) movieclip generator to move smoothly while being able to drag the BG movieclip at the same time. However it does not lag...

    CODE for the movement of generator:

    var targetX:Number;

    var targetY: number;

    var inTransit: Boolean = false;

    var speed: Number = 5;

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, mouse click);

    stage.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, update);

    function mouseClick(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    targetX = BG.mouseX;

    targetY = BG.mouseY;

    transit = true;

    }

    function update(e:Event):void

    {

    First check to see if we must move forward

    If (! transit | isNaN (targetX) | isNaN (targetY)) return;

    find the direction to the target

    var i: Number = targetX - BG.builder.x; x direction

    var j: Number = targetY - BG.builder.y; y axis

    Now let's see how close you are to the target

    If you're closer, then speed, then make sure that the amount of your change

    mag var: Number = Math.sqrt (I * i + j * j);

    var dif:Number = Math.min (mag, speed);

    If (dif < speed) in transit = false; turn off transit when you got it

    now make your direction a unit vector

    I / = mag;

    j / = mag;

    then multiply by your dif to get

    the speed of your object vector

    I * = dif;

    j * = dif;

    If (off = true) {}

    BG.builder.x += i;

    BG.builder.y += j;

    }

    }

    CODE FOR the event drag mouse 'BG ':

    BG.addEventListener (MouseEvent.DOUBLE_CLICK, fl_StartDrag, false, 0, true);

    BG.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, fl_StopDrag, false, 0, true);

    function fl_StartDrag(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    OFF = false;

    e.currentTarget.startDrag (false, fl_DragBounds);

    e.currentTarget;

    counter = 1;

    BG.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, updateCounter);

    }

    function fl_StopDrag(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    e.currentTarget;

    e.currentTarget.stopDrag ();

    BG.removeEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, updateCounter);

    }

    How can I do to fix the problem, and why is this problem or delay?

    Please forgive me as I'm new to Flash and still learn

    Thank you

    AlpaxJ1

    every object that has x, y of changes (and no other changes) should have its cacheAsBitmap property enabled.

    each object which undergoes additional changes (excluding the movieclips that change managers) must have its active cacheAsBitmap and its cacheAsBitmapMatrix assigned (usually at a new matrix())).

    I am using Windows 7 and have a new mouse Microsoft.  Any kind of surface, I place the mouse, the cursor moves in jerky movements.  It is difficult to get to the right spot.  I changed the block but no difference.

  • Create a mov mp4 file without changing the dimensions

    I'm working on a project for InDesign that has out of DPS.

    I take screenshot movies that are saved to the default mov format. These movies are 700 px x 400 px. This cannot be changed.

    I need to convert the mov to an mp4.

    I got SOUL but I'm confused as to how to set the output settings.

    I don't want to change the dimensions.

    What setting will convert the mov to mp4 without changing the dimensions?

    MPEG4 is one of the formats that has relationships between parameters called constraints. Specifically, the image dimensions and speed are limited by the profile and level. Here are the steps to set the dimensions of your choice:

    1. Open the export for a job settings dialog box
    2. Play in MPEG4 format
    3. Click on the video tab
    4. For Advanced Simple profile
    5. Game from level to level 5
    6. To the right of the width of the frame and the height of the frame, click on the chain link icon to dissociate the width and height
    7. Set the width 700
    8. Fixed height 400
    9. (optional) Change other settings such as Frame Rate and Bitrate as you wish.
    10. (optional, but strongly recommended for future practical reasons) click the button Save preset right of the Preset control in the upper right corner [CS5.5 and before the button icon is a diskette; in CS6, it's an arrow pointing down to a rectangle, which I assume is a disk drive.] Enter a name for the custom preset in the dialog box that appears, and then click OK.
    11. In the export settings dialog box, click OK (if you opened this dialog of the SOUL) or queue (if you started the Organization).

    The preset that you saved in step 10 will appear in the list of presets for MPEG4, so you can use it for future encoding jobs. If you have the SOUL CS6, custom presets appear also in the section at the top of the new Preset browser.

  • How to export videos that reads smoothly?

    I have an HD project in Premiere Pro CS4 which is about 9 minutes.  When I go out to Flash for the web, once everything is buffered it time smooth real return.  If the customer wants a copy of the 'file' to be played on his computer running Windows and Windows Media Player that he will focus on a screen flat 55 "tall via HDMI to a trade fair.  I made several different files from. MOV h.264 in various resolutions (1920 x 1080, 1280x720p, width of 720 x 480, iPod, etc.) and tested on my Dell Inspiron i3 laptop running Windows 7 64-bit edition connected to my 46 '' tv via HDMI to simulate what would the customer.

    The file of 1920 was of huge (2 GB) as we would expect and plays back jerky

    1280x720p. MP4 file was about 400 MB, which I was excited, but plays back jerky

    The other two (.) MOV and. MP4) to 720 x 480 play back smoothly

    So I think it's be a drive / processor deliver to reproduce the larger files or a combo of that and the graphic card or will I have a problem with the way the parameters are defined in the export options?

    Box, on that I produce video is a Mac i7 quad-core, 8 GB of RAM and a nice ATI card.  Comprehensive ground files versions play fine on this subject.  BluRay is out too.  Is not a burner, and they do not have a player.

    For this file format and settings can I give that deliver smooth (er) to great resolutions for my release?

    Thank you

    Steve

  • Jerky mouse pointer

    Hi all. In the last two months, my mouse pointer has become "jerky" that I have pass through or up and down the screen. I described as moving as if I had Parkinson's, or as he was moving on the surface of the moon.
    It is a Laser Mouse 6000 USB MS wired mouse.
    I uninstalled the old drivers (6.3) and reinstalled the drivers again, (7.0) but no difference.

    I dug an old (new in box) PS/2 mouse into my junk mail box and tried just to see how it worked... and the pointer move smooth like silk. It becomes very difficult to even click on links, like the pointer jump to avoid... and the game has become almost impossible. (cannot be in a 1st person shooter).

    I had someone suggest that it may be a bad cable or a connection where the cable enters the mouse, but short he rocks, there is no way to solve the problems that.
    I think it's out of warranty, (about 2 years), so I'm stuck with trying to solve this problem, or replace a mouse $ 45.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thank you.

    BoomerD,
    If this mouse is 2 years old and cleaning the optical lens has not helped, it goes bad and you need a new.  Depending on how much you use it, a mouse can last from a few months to a few years.  But if you use a lot, 2 years is a long life of a mouse.  Apparently it's a hardware problem, so it is not something we can do to help you.

  • Dissemination of animation MP4

    Hello world

    I created a simple animation in which the vector graphics interact with background images.

    When I made it to mp4, I saw that in the resulting video graphic elements do not move smoothly: they spread a lot and is not the effect I was looking for. I would like to just the graphics to follow the paths that I drew (what they actually do when I look at the video in AE).

    Any idea on how to solve the problem?

    Thanks in advance

    For me, means the word "scatter", "breaking into small pieces and booklets anywhere in the screen."

    Which means 'dispersion' mean to YOU?  Please provide details.

    Other things:

    The animation cannot move smoothly because you chose a low rate for the model of EI.  What is it?

    If you're mp4 directly to EI, don't.  Use Adobe Media Encoder to make them.

    If you are running AE on a computer with an OS of Yosemite, that might be the problem.  Yosemite stinks.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated! does anyone know how to return back or increase the fluidity in movement smooth - it's too late to cancel...  Mixture of framework does not work!  Thank you!!!  Cally

    To go back, you can use a backup or a registered copy.

    Mixture of frame on the timeline is only useful when the framerate of the element does not match that of the timeline.
