Movies purchased

May I ask why I need to download a movie bought on each of my devices? I downloaded a movie on my iPhone, which would not then download on iTunes so I had to download on my Mac and all I wanted to do was watch it on my apple TV, which made me try to listen. We don't have high speed broadband without limits. Some of us have little 4Mbps connections and are therefore punished for the purchase of products and services from apple.

Please explain to someone.

You do not have.

Simply transfer the purchases on your computer.

File > devices > transfer purchases

Once on your computer, you can sync with other devices.

If you see some kind of error message, then it would be much more informative to post rather than immediately jumping to jump of paranoid conspiracy theory.  If you see no messages about it here then probably it is something very specific to your installation because I do not know there are tens of thousands of people out there using non-Apple monitors.

  • I can't watch the movies purchased on itunes.

  • Movie purchased on Apple TV not on Apple TV

    Hi all

I also bought a movie on my Apple TV 4, a television series. When I go into the purchase tab they aren't there.

I certainly bought and paid, got the Bill. They are not hidden items, they appear in my iTunes when I check on iMac or Macbook Air. However, they ARE NOT on one of my Apple TV 2.

If I look for to be sure I can play them as it says already purchased. They don't yell in my purchased tabs.

Previous research suggests that they are hidden objects and I have to post their... They are not hidden objects. They are not there! Rebooted everything so been down this road... Help please :-) Frustrating.

  • ITunes will not play movie purchased on IPhone in the new Macbook Pro

I bought a movie in iTunes and he said: he can't play on my new Macbook pro, because it is not on the list of approved devices, went I go on my account in iTunes it does not yet list add new device or something like that. How can I get my computer can play iTunes purchased movie on my new Macbook Pro?

What is the exact text of the message you get? If your account is not allowed, you can allow it through the store at the top of the screen drop: authorize computer in iTunes - Apple Support

    for example

(If you look at the section "manage devices" that does not have the ability to read content, that lists devices on the computer, and iOS that are associated with your account by the intermediary using iTunes game, iCloud music or automatic on them downloads, or redownloading past purchases: view and delete associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support)

  • How can I watch the movies purchased and downloaded?

I have no internet but have configured my ATV off site. AirPlay works very well with my music and photos, but does not work with movies, I bought & downloaded on my computer and the iPhone. I get an error msg I missed something?

I think that you are facing problems with copy protection.  If the computer or the iPhone tries to copy-protected movies Airplay Apple TV does not display these since apparently you can copy somehow this signal.

I tried to AirPlaying a DVD and ran into the same issue.

To prove the point, make a movie of yourself on the iPhone and it check the fine Apple TV broadcasts.

The Apple TV count on being connected to the internet to disseminate your purchased movies.

  • Duplicate movies purchased on iPad

I have duplicates of some movies that I bought from iTunes on my iPad. My iPhone does not have the same problem. It does not all iTunes movies, only some of them. On my Mac, I have another movie that does the same thing. A reflection on the cause? I just restored my iPad as a new device after completely rebuild my iTunes library on my Mac (the previous library has been altered). My iPhone has also been restored as a new device...

Some of the movies have new graphics, others not. Star Wars: Force wakes up and Tanged do not seem to be affected (Toy Story and Star Wars: A New Hope are not bought as I converted the DVD).

Based on the screenshots I see not the iCloud symbol in the lower right corner, which tells me that the movies are in local on the device. In theory, if you had a copy of the movie on your device, and Apple has changed a service as added extras iTunes, changed album art or genre, the film could potentially show as a new download in iCloud. I would start by checking if there are differences between your copies. The obvious would be different covers for the same film. For movies with the same cover see if the genre corresponds or iTunes extras and the other does not.

  • Why does my HD iTunes movie purchases on Apple TV stream?

I just bought an Apple TV. I downloaded a few applications and they all work very well, like Hulu, Netflix and Yahoo; they spread instantly. But for some reason any HD movies, I bought it on iTunes take forever to stream. The iTunes Extras play instantly, but for some reason any the films themselves will not (at least not for an unreasonable amount of time). My internet speed is sufficient and I am connected via an ethernet cable. Is there any solution for this? I never came across this problem with my PS4 when I used it to broadcast HD content.

Other services adapt to the connection. iTunes is fixed, better quality and needs to load a game before the start of playback

  • DVD player does not recognize certain DVD movie purchased.

My dvd player is no longer recognising some DVD movie bought she used to play without a problem. The difficulty seems to be related to the protection of copy on the DVD. Cheaper DVDs with the content of the 'public domain' are playable, while recent successes are not. Yesterday I updated the DRM for WMP 11 and cost the problem go away, but this morning, after the last update of security Windows installation, I'm back where I started. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a system restore to a point before you started having this problem?

    Thanks for the reply, Barb.

I had this problem for the last month. I am always connected with administrator privileges. The computer is an old gateway 700XL running Win XP Pro SP3. The DVD drive is a LG HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GMA 4020 B. Not sure about a bios update for the computer, but checked and not found any updated firmware for the drive. I have download the K-Lite codec package.

Discs of film that won't play or play with unwelcome program include discs that played without any problem and a brand-new movie that won't play at all. In addition to WMP 11, I also have Media Player Classic, which will play the older discs after several tries and a message 'failure to protect against copying'. It does not recognize the new drive at all. The new disc will play on our DVD TV player.

After that I updated the DRM for WMP 11, all disks were playing without problem on my computer. Yesterday morning, I got Win XP update malware removal tool, and after that I installed it I was to place 1 - old records playing with a lot of difficulties and messages "has no protection against copying" and the new disk plays do not at all.

  • Can I watch the movies on my Apple TV on my iPad?

Can I watch movies purchased on my Apple TV, on my iPad, while others use the TV and Apple TV?

  • Lost access to iTune movies

Older movies purchased on iTunes is no longer will play with checked Apple ID and recognized password, how can I update the movie file to play.

    Hello bmathews24,

I understand that you are no longer able to play movies which have purchased you from the iTunes Store.  Is the Apple ID you mention above the same Apple ID that was used to buy the movies?   Here's how to download again:

    Download your latest purchases

Download a film, television or music video show

You can redownload only a movie, TV show or music video you purchased from the iTunes Store. Rented movies are not available for the redownload.

You can download movies, TV shows and music videos on your iPhone or iPod touch, the iPad, Mac or PC. You can watch already purchased movies, television or music videos on your Apple TV, but shows they do not download to the device.

On a Mac or a PC

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. If you are not logged in, sign in with your Apple ID.
    3. In the MenuBar at the top of your screen, computer or at the top of the iTunes window, select account > bought. If you are a member of a family sharing group, you might see family purchases instead of buying.

If you are using Windows and you don't see the menu bar, Learn how to turn it on.

    4. Depending on what you want to download, click on movies or TV shows in the upper right of the iTunes window.
    5. Click on 'Not in my library' to the purchased display content that is not on your computer.

    6. Find the item that you want to download, then click on the download icon in the upper right corner. Your article downloads to your library.

    Enjoy!

  • Download movies and Smart TV

So, I want to buy and download the 4 seasons of Lois and clark... I don't like amazon bc you can't actually download and it costs 120, so if I didn't have internet or must travel I wouldn't be able to watch... or if they are no longer supplied digital content... So if I buy it on itunes I know I can download it, but is there a way to watch it on my other smart tv then having to buy apple tv and be able to watch it on pc if I wanted to?

Side note: I have a mac, I would just be able to have options especially when spending money.

Apple TV would be ideal, but you should be able to watch a standard definition version of the movie on a TV with a cable of your MacBook Pro.

You can watch your movies purchased in iTunes on a Mac or a PC, it don't make no difference.

  • Apple tv does allow you to download movies?

I am debating whether or not to get an apple tv.

Apple tv does allow you to download your movie purchases and rentals, as does itunes, so you must not disseminate their?

N ° the amount of memory embedded in Apple TV 4 is used for applications, data and content of the buffer streamed. There is no direct media storage. You can broadcast your purchases directly from the Apple servers or reproduce any content stored on your computer or device through sharing at home or Air play.

Using your e-mail address as user name is maybe not wise. I asked the hosts to contact you to the subject of change.

  • How to copy a movie on my iPad without syncing?

    Hello.

I've got 2 iTunes libraries. One on my Mac and the other on a laptop, on Win10. Two of them contains my movies purchased from the iTunes Store.

At home, I sync my iPad, using the iTunes library on my Mac.

When I'm out, when I connect my iPad to my computer to Win10, I can't synchronize my movies without deleting everything on my iPad.

My question: How can I add a movie to my computer Win10 on my iPad, without synchronization?

If the film was purchased on iTunes, you can download directly to the title of the purchase.
