Can not be solved, but maybe data can be retrieved. His days as a main drive of a computer longer, however. Stop using it. Whenever you try to run the damage worsens. You need get the new drive and install it and put Windows on it and then get an external hard drive (usb) adapter and move the files from the old drive to the new. Chances are most of it is recoverable if you caught the problem early.

  • A510 using Windows 8 driver problem

    Greetings,

I'm developing an application for Acer Iconia Tab A510 using Windows 8 as the development environment.

To this end, I use the Android SDK for debug and deploy my application on your device via the USB cable.

Until recently, I developed using Windows 7 and everything went well. As I changed to Windows 8 I'm having problems with the driver.

The device appears with an exclamation point in Device Manager when connected and it is not on connected devices, when I run 'adb devices' (the Android SDK tool)
I tried to use the latest driver on the download section and followed the instructions on this site on how to install the drivers under windows 8, but without success.

Can someone provide me with additional assistance?

    Thank you all!

I installed Windows 8 from scratch. I get an error when you install the driver, and it appears with a warning signal later.

But I found that this problem is not specific of A510 but adb of the Android SDK.

It seems that ADB needs updated drivers to run and Windows 8 applied digitally signed drivers.

If you are interested, you can find the solution here:

    Hello

Update the WiFi driver - if built-in check with the site of the manufacturer of the system. Then check with the real
site of the manufacturer of the device if possible. Of course, if a separate device then check with its creator. If not most recent
driver, then re - install the original.

The virtual Port is used to allow other WiFi devices to connect to the internet via your computer
WiFi. If you do not use this function, you can then disable the virtual card. Device Manager-
Network - Virtual WiFi double click on it - the pilot - Disable tab.

    I hope this helps.

You say that you have downloaded a driver from the Epson site, but have you downloaded the * good * driver? You need a driver for the Epson CX5500 for * Windows 7 * and the correct 32-bit version or 64-bit Windows that you are running.

So far, I tried the following:

    • HP UDP PCL6 driver
    • Driver HP UDP Post Script
    • Driver HP PCL5 UDP
    • Completely removed the MMC - Add In printer management printer
    • Whenever I have add the printer with another driver (listed above), adds the printer but when I print a test page it just sits in the queue and nothing happens.

Other useful suggestions would be appreciated.

I could solve the problem of the relocation of the PCL6 UPD driver manually and then go to the properties of the printer - device settings tab & change the Type of device to the color.

  • Windows 10 driver problems

    Hey guys,.

I've used windows on my computer since I got it three years ago, but I stopped using it when windows 8 has been released because I wasn't a big fan.  I gave 10 Windows suddenly because I thought it looked quite clean.  I've done all right, but the included drivers do not work.  Only the basic stuff works (Broad-com, Intel, are involved, all...), but everything else does not work (keyboard, touch pad and all sensors).  Has anyone else had any of these problems? Or solutions?

    Thank you guys!

    1. can you check for all unknown devices in the Windows Device Manager?

    2. don't you run Apple Software Update and get BC 6 pack of drivers?

  • Pavilion G6-2030se (Windows 8) driver problems

    I have some problems with some of my drivers;

1 - this device seems to be unknown to the system.

It is a device of the PCI Bus, or at least that's what it says in the general tab, after that I click on properties of the device.

    My second problem is the following;

is it normal that I have these two adapters running in the same time on the same device?

    Thanks in advance

The two graphics cards is normal. Your laptop has switchable graphics.

  • EliteBook 8570p installation charge windows 7, driver problems? I'm downloading the right one?

Heres my old post that has never been answered... boooooo

But I am downloading the right one. I have windows7 64 bit Elitebook 8570p in my old post that I don't know if I have the good dowload link, cause when I type in search I get this link http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5212915&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4057

What link I should be downloading. Get confused. I might have to do a new installation or can I?

Do I need to display an identification number so that you know what type of machine mine is?

    Hello:

Yes, this is the right page.

The site has been down for almost all weekend.  Looks like they were again available to match the consumer technical support site.

After the loading of the page, select the version of W7 you have installed, and you will be directed to the list of drivers.

When I click the link it is set by default for W7 64-bit base.

  • Hundreds of "Microsoft ISATAP Adapter" s in interfaces, slow down some networking applications

    Hello

Recently, I noticed that some Java applications on my computer take a long time to start: at startup, the grip of the application within about 20 seconds, while the Task Manager indicates that the "javaw.exe" process takes 25% CPU usage (I'm on a quad-core processor, then that would mean that the process of one of them is fully) at the end of the duration of block applications finally starts and then normally works (and the CPU usage decreases). However, this long startup time is annoying when development/debugging Java applications.

Make debugging, I could see that what was slowing down applications is a method of the Java API called 'getNetworkInterfaces' that retrieves the list of available network interfaces. Running a test program showed me that this method has found more than 1,000 network interfaces (!) on my system, which most is labeled "Microsoft ISATAP Adapter". Apparently, this method is called at the beginning of these Java applications, for reasons that I have not always figured out.

Did some other research, I found that this method calls a Windows API 'GetIfTable"( MSDN documentation ) function: runs the C++ test program still shows the same number of interfaces (~ 1 000), with all the"Microsoft ISATAP adapter' s. as a result, the problem is probably not due to lack of Java; It's just more noticeable on Java applications, because Java must create a NetworkInterface object for each of these interfaces.

Still more research to show that it is a known problem in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. The question now is: how to remove these "Microsoft ISATAP cards?" They do not appear in the devices, or using DevCon Manager as suggested on other forums. So far, I have not found a satisfactory answer.

Here are a few links relating to the issue, this could enlighten us:

This seems to be the issue as described in the base, Microsoft technical support, but he mentions "6to4 adapter" not "maps ISATAP.

This user in the forums TechNet has the same problem (multiple interfaces, network do not appear in Device Manager, can't get them off with DevCon) but the wire provided no real answers. It would also be interesting to know where getIfTable retrieves network information: apparently is not in the registry.

Finally, the most interesting link is one that also describes the issue (if it is on Windows Server) and mentions the effect on Java programs. He described a solution mentioning a tool "NDISCLEANUP" but I can't find it anywhere. Where can I get this tool?

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

According to the description I would recommend that you post the question on the Windows 7 IT Pro forums for assistance.

  • 450 HP: HP 450 Gen 2 Ethernet Driver missing / replaced by ISATAP Adapter After Windows Update

    Good afternoon

I'm a network administrator at a small not-for-profit organization and aired on a particular issue with our 450 HP Gen 2.  Using Windows Deployment Toolkit, I have an image clean Windows 7 with the applications we want to push on these machines and then followed with update driver using the HP software Assistant.  In general, everything works.  But every so often, a 450 HP decides to 'lose' it's network, which is replaced by up to three non-working ISATAP adapt - hidden driver.  With hidden devices turned off, the Device Manager shows three network wireless, but not ethernet connections.  In addition, the NIC itself is completely dark; no nice little green/yellow lights sparkle.

This was happening before with an image earlier established by my predecessor, and I discovered that this image was intended to HP 450 Gen1 and Gen2 not - even if the image has been labeled Gen2. Thought it was just a simple matter that the Gen1 image was not compatible with the Gen2 machines.  They would work for a little while, then break after a series of Windows updates.

So I created my own image, repeat the steps above and for a while thought that the problem has been resolved.  But I just fell on my first 'disappeared' ethernet driver scenario; Since users employing 450 HP are usually off site, they need of working machinery.  But I have not found anything in the forums or through google search to indicate exactly what causes the problem.

Currently, I use the HP of a DVD Software Wizard because the laptop has no ethernet connectivity to see if that solves it, but I'm interested to know what is causing this problem so I can avoid it in the future.  It's not good if users are bringing back machines to me who... was enough to say... do not work.

I look forward to your correspondence.

    Best regards

    Robert

Alrighty, I thought about it.  Essentially, (is no longer editable in the bios) LAN energy saving mode disables the NETWORK adapter, and once off, it will idle rest.  Therefore, your PC will not know to turn it on no matter how many times you restart or connect an ethernet.

    Here's the trick:

1 unplug the power to your laptop, remove the battery, wait about 1-2 minutes.

    2. connect ethernet port NIC, connect the a/c, insert the battery.  Starts.  You should see your NETWORK card light up.

    3. once in Windows, go to the Device Manager.  You will see that your Realtek NIC listed.  Go into properties, power options and uncheck the option that reads LAN for energy savings.

Problem solved.  I hope this helps the next guy.

    -Robert.
