  • Can't send or receive messages MMS (multimedia messages)

I recently got a new Motorola RAZR V3 phone and signed up with T-Mobile service.  I am not able to send or receive any MMS messages (MMS).  I used the T-Mobile device configuration http://tmobileuspublic.wdsglobal.com/ Web site to try to set up this phone.  After following the instructions, the phone displays the following error message.  'Exceeds the maximum limit.  Cannot add the new session web profile. "On the phone, I went to Menu > WebAccess > Web Sessions and 10 points listed there.  I'm not able to find an option to delete all the recorded sessions.  At this point, I am lost on how to work around this problem.  Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

  • SMS Multimedia Smartphones blackBerry messages?

[Sorry - in addition to the audit that should read 'how to activate MMS'?]

    Hello

Any new owner of BB (8130 Pearl). I have a Telus Faves 35 plan with unlimited access to e-mail / e-mail module and have a question about the SMS Messaging. The 35 Faves plan includes 'unlimited picture and video messaging with your Fave 5' (which I was contacting). When I receive a multimedia message (text with the image attached), I get only the text over a URL to TELUSMobility.com where I should go to see the image as an attachment. I thought that this image would make it online in the text? Under the camera application, there is a function of sending but no option to send a picture to a cell phone - email.

Still unaware on the sematics but on my old Nokia pay-as-you-go 3235i that images in messages SMS always rendered inline. I have used the wrong approach to send and receive multimedia?

    Thank you

    Scotty

This due to the fact that your SIM card or your mobile phone number is not configured for MMS service. Messages you receive means that your SIM card is not attached with your carriers MMSC.

To activate MMS service contact your operator. They will do the rest, and only then will you be able to send MMS from your BlackBerry. This problem is not related to BlackBerry.

  • Picture messages

Since the update IOS 9.3 that I could not send photos to iPhone not users... anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

    Hi Stormie01,

I understand that you are having problems, send MMS (pictures, etc., through the Messages app) messages for the non-users of iPhone. The steps below can help to restore your ability to send Multimedia messages from your device successfully.

If your messages are not sent or you do not receive the messages

    Check your details:

    1. Make sure you use the right phone number or email address of the contact.
    2. Go to settings > Messages > blocked and make sure that the contact is not on your list of blocking.

If messages will not send to a certain person or you need assistance with group messages

Sometimes it will not send your messages to a particular contact, or you might have problems with Group Messaging. For example, you could meet a group conversation and receive your own message. Or you could get a new phone number and see your old listed as a recipient in an existing group conversation.

Delete the conversation * who has the problem and start a new conversation:

    1. Open your Messages and view your list of conversations.
    2. Straight shot left on the conversation you want to delete. Then, remove faucet.
    3. Open your Messages, type and enter the phone number or email address of your contact or contacts.
    4. Write a new message and press send.

    * When you delete a conversation, you will not be able to recover. If you want to save parts of conversations or their attachments, you can take screenshots. You can also tap a bubble attachment or message, and then tap more > save.

Restart your device and check for updates

    1. Restart your device.
    2. Looking for a carrier settings update.
    3. Looking for an updated software iOS.

  • message icon

What does this message with a top x envelope?

OK, I've seen some multimedia messages. If something happens while the phone is downloading the attachment if there is an error you will get this error too

  • MMS problems with latest messaging

After thinking that all e-mail issues had been settled in the last update of the system, I discovered while trying to open a multimedia Message is received, it opens the last photo taken instead.

Everyone knows this effect, or can replicate my problems?

    Sorry to hear that.

You can try to reset the default application preferences and see if that helps? This is done in settings-> Apps-> [menu]-> Reset preferences app.

If this does not help, you see bad image in conversation or when you press the image to open it (or both)?

  • Invoke the Message MMS existing message no new message

I created a Message with attachments and invoked the message request to create an email, now it would be nice to add a line of code to call MMS message.

This calls for an email with my Message

    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES, new MessageArguments (message));

This calls for a new MMS.

    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES, new MessageArguments (MessageArguments.ARG_NEW_MMS));

    It does not work

    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES, new MessageArguments (message, MessageArguments.ARG_NEW_MMS));

I can invoke the application message and create a new MMS message, but I don't see how to create a multimedia Message and the message I created.

If anyone has any ideas, you could save me a lot of time.

    Thank you!

Somehow, I missed the answer to this one.  It has already been posted.

    It is not possible!

  • Message from picture of blackBerry Smartphones

My priv not load or send multimedia messages. All I can do to fix this?

The best option would be to contact your carrier (Telus) and to check the APN settings with them and explain that you receive / send picture messages.

Simply tap on the selected item in the list and compare the settings.

I searched online for settings APN of Telus and found this:

    • Name: Telus Internet or can be any other name
    • APN: sp.telus.com
    • Proxy server: leave empty
    • Port: leave blank
    • User name: leave blank
    • Password: leave blank
    • Server: leave blank
    • MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mmsc
    • Proxy server: 74.49.0.18
    • Port: 80
    • MCC: 302
    • MNC: 220
    • Authentication type: no
    • Type of APN: by default, mms, supl
  • BlackBerry Smartphones for text messaging?

What is the difference between a PIN, SMS & MMS?

I was sending SMS without problem, but I don't know what it represents.

PIN messages are specific to the BlackBerry.  Your device is equipped with a PIN and you can share your PIN with another owner of BB and BB Messenger allows you to communicate with them.

MMS is Multimedia Messaging Service, essentially the text with media (IE, photograph etc.)

SMS is the Service of short messaging or standard text messaging.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download a pic of a text message

On my old Razr, I had no problem see pictures in text messages. Now, it is said that he was unable to get it back? He shows me how the file is large (24 KB) and gives me the opportunity to 'Recover now', but still the fact like 2 minutes and then stops. Surely I can receive messages from pix on this phone right?

Images in text messages are MMS (Multimedia Message Service). It often requires a book of service from your provider.

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

    2. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart

    If still nothing...
    3. return your books to your BIS service provider site.

  • IPhone-Android text problem

I had a problem when a group of friends sends SMS and I do not get them from one of the individuals in the group. This group consists of 3 iPhones and Android 1. I know issues when people spend to have an iPhone and then go to an Android but forget to take of iMessage, but it is not part of the case. We all had the same type (iPhone and Androids) for a very long time who have nobody in this group never cross the line and changing. This question has been which is rampant in us for a long time.

    User - iPhone

    User B - iPhone

    User C - iPhone

    User D - Android

User A sends the text that everyone always sees.

    User B replies, everyone sees

User C responds, everyone EXCEPT the user sees A

    User D answers, everyone sees

    The user responds, everyone sees

The user never sees any response user D sends. The user has, B, and C can send each other text without any problem in a group of different text (removing D user) and all is well. The user A and user D can text each other and all is well. User A has other groups text mixed with iPhones and androids that causes no problems. any help is greatly appreciated.

A group that contains a non - iOS device is a MMS. It has nothing to do with iMessage. A multimedia Message, as an SMS is a function of carrier. There are no settings for SMS on the iPhone, but there is a setting for MMS messaging and Group Messaging. These two must be on for these to work. If the user does not receive messages from the user D, then the user must check with the carrier so that they have a SMS/MMS profile on their account, based on the description you provide.

  • If I have a WiFi and cellular data active my iPhone 5 will limit all THE DATA of a Wi - Fi connection or it will use short films of quantities of cell phone data?

I Don t want to enable and disable mobile data every time I wonder if it will fully prioritize Wi - Fi when both are active.

    Thank you.

The iPhone will always connect to and using Wi - Fi when available. The first time that you connect to the Wi - Fi network, you will need to set up (put password, etc.), but then it will automatically connect the next time, it's in the range. When connected to Wi - Fi, almost all data through Wi - Fi, with the exception of a few features such as multimedia messages (MMS). When the phone has no Wi - Fi available, he will return to cell. If the device does not stay connected to Wi - Fi, go to settings > phone. Then scroll down and press Wi - Fi help.

    Hi chesselgrave,

See the link below and try the steps mentioned to access the MMS message on your phone and check if it helps.

Access the Pinhole as a guest Subscriber (one-time password)
    http://OTP.mycricket.com/mmbox/help/en/MMS/MMBox/otp_user_view_message.htm

If the previous step fails, consult the phone manual to learn more about access to the MMS on the computer from the phone.
