  I believe you are trying to create an interface for users, where they can submit a request with the details of the message. You can do this using the web forms, Muse integrated form widget can be configured where e-mail can be specified who would get the transmitter applications.

  Hey everyone I have a few questions for my muse site, I want to offer the free download a file in Exchange for users to submit their emails, or just create a segment where users can add their email address so I can create a mailing list, it would be preferable that there was a widget, or so I was able to record this emailing list rather than simply doing it manually from my gmail account, anyone know how would be once all this within the muse / catalyst for business? Thank you.

  You can create media downloads of the site backend in British Colombia, and then add the download link in a page that can be defined as form submission page.

  About the mailing list, you can add email newsletter in your form where users submitting once or by subscribing will be automatically added to the list by e-mail.

  I have not yet tried the Muse but use Dreamweaver for some time as a hobby. I watched the tutorials on Muse and I want to know more before changing my cloud for the full package of cloud account. I would like to know if the Muse pages such as a form to email page can be placed in a SSL folder.

  If you use Dreamweaver stick with that. It is much more flexible for custom stuff. No, you wouldn't be able to move a shape to another folder in Muse. All pages are in the root directory.

• How to create link email Muse?

  Select the e-mail address on a page and enter the same address in the hyperlink box ISN'T you toke on a mail client to send an email. Is it possible to post a link for the Muse e-mail addresses?

• Double trouble: email design and re Captcha

  Usually I can do something that I need Muse and now I have reached a point where I don't know what to do. I had two problems, and the two are connected with the Muse e-mail forms.

  (1) the design of the email I receive from my form.
  I found patterns for automation of notification emails that sender of the form receives after submitting the form and I've been able to re - design the model. Now, I want to re-design of the email I receive from the form. So far, I still get email pre Business Catalyst, two gray stripes with the contents of the form in the meantime. Given that I have am building site for a client and don't want them to read the Business Catalyst "ads" in the mail, I would like to be able to re - design this email in the same style as I did with the autoresponder. Where can I do this?

  (2) since I redesigned my autoresponder, re Captcha stop working. When I used the form "such what ' with models of preformatted e-mail from Adobe, re Captcha worked fine. Now, with the answering machine model has changed, I re Captcha error message whenever I try to send the form. I went to BC Captcha and everything works fine, but I really want to use re-Captcha.

  More funny thing is: when you submit with re Captcha, disappears from the page itself, I get redirected to my automatic response email template where the Captcha message error object is displayed instead of text on the form. I already trried reloading re Captcha, the entire page, even quit and restarted my browser. As soon as I change the answering machine model, re Captcha does not work anymore.

  Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  To answer your questions:

  1. you can change the email you receive when someone send form on your site from Site Manager > email system > notification of workflow.

  2. change the answering machine should not affect re-captcha, unless you changed something in the code for the form. BC also has the possibility of re-captcha for forms. You can use it too.

• Error on an e-mail form to send. Muse

  I have several forms of subscription e-mail address here:

  The problem is all the forms which are used both in the site work correctly, but the form located at the bottom of page does not work. Gives me a server error.
  The form is actually applied to the master page and two other pages separately where I can't apply the master page. The three instances of the form has same email ID and name (I tried with changing names of form since I can't change email ID of the form submission). Other forms which are used once properly.
  What can potentially be the problem? and how to get around?

  I checked the codes on your website and found that you have used a lot of third party and a predefined template.

  Suggest you to remove the "subscribe" form footer and recreate a new form of simple contact with application of Muse.

  Try to publish the drawing to your webhost, I'm sure it will work fine.

• Several e-mails in the form of MUSE

  I have forms on my site of MUSE. Have more tha one e-mail of the recipient in the form I get server error.

  Using a single address his work propperly.

  This does NOT work: [email protected] ; [email protected]

  It comes to along: [email protected]

  the error is most likely to your server... are you sure the correct address is not [email protected]?

• Settings SMTP for Muse Contact E-mail form

  I could not properly set up my contact form on my website hosted Godady I wrote in Muse CC 2015.  I have someone to help me trouble shoot and we need to know where we can edit the SMTP settings, as we believe it must be an SMTP relay for mail mechanism to authenticate and forward the e-mail to me.  Any help would be appreciated.

  The information that google requires, must be sent to your host - GoDaddy, and they will be able to configure the script php of your form.

• E-mail configuration incorrect when migrating to Muse to Dreamweaver

  So I set up a portfolio on Muse site, and I exported to HTML for Dreamweaver.

  When you try to use my contact form, I get the error "the server has encountered an error.

  Looking more closely, I went in my 'sitename/scripts/form_check.php' and found that everything was good except the e-mail configuration:

  X e-mail configuration: PHP mail() badly configured on the server. Form will not be able to send emails.

  Figured it out, turns on it does not allow me to send to my gmail address, so I had to send emails to an address of internal server instead.

  This is not possible with Muse. HTML email using HTML, Muse makes heavy use of java script.

  This is not possible with only Muse.  You can look at third-party services like JotForms, and WuForms with widgets for Muse.

  Troubleshooting tips, you are referring are specific to when you are hosting on servers not Adobe. It is quite unusual to have a problem with a form when you host on Business Catalyst.

  The first thing to check are the filters of spam in your e-mail client. The most common situation is that the e-mail was sent and received, but classified as spam by your e-mail client.
