• Full Muse Site doesn't scale or Zoom on iPhone

  I have a site built with Parallax scrolling. I created alternative for mobile phones and Tablet versions because my animations incorrectly would work on the mobile version. Unfortunately, because of the bug forcing ThinkPad and laptops with smaller screens to the mobile version, that I had to create a button to display the main site and now iPhone users attempting to view the complete site on their phone. In addition to animations not working not properly, it will not allow the user to scale or zoom on the site. I like the Parallax scrolling feature and won't have to take off for users who decide to visit the main site on their phone, but don't know how to implement another work around. Thanks in advance for your help.

  A bit of a hack and not strictly correct, but probably the same thing that we will end up as Google seems to drag their feet when it comes to address bug maxTouchPoints (which is what is initially put in Tablet load on some Windows computers with screens that are 960 pixels or less in height).

• site on the iPhone that settles on right side

  The site is made with sensitive breakpoints 320 etc... Perfect on the desktop but when upload for iPhone site appear delimited on the left side with element within 320. On the contrary, on the right side, we can scan to the right and filling out browser appear up to 1200-breaking point.

  I went through your Web site. for iphone point of stop.

  Found that a lot of data (elements) is outside the design area.

  Go on the breakpoint in Muse created for the iphone and check if you have any data outside the design area, you see all the data outside the design area strive to reduce the zoom level in muse

  

  This will show that you data outside the area of design, adjust all the data inside the design area in Muse or delete unwanted items.

  Once you have all the data inside the design area of Muse for the breakpoint of the iphone, it will be fine.

  Note: Make sure that you are working on the breakpoint just for the iphone.

  Hi Jacob,

  One of the most common cause for this is due to a component goes outside of the page are in design mode of layout of phone which forces the browser to zoom out.

  Go hit the page design mode and select everything by pressing CTRL + A or command-A. This will show you if something happens outside of the area of the page. If you find something at the pace outside and then delete or drag inside the area of the page.

• Can a Web of Adobe Muse site be rebuilt using exported files?

  I have recently had two major accidents (the PC hard disk and backup network hard drive failure). All previous versions of versions of my website disappeared.  I have backups of all the exported files (HTML, CSS, etc.) for all versions of my previous my site.  Is there a way where I can import these files into Muse and recreate my Web site?  Adobe has a utility that will help with this issue?

• Damaged files Adobe Muse site and cannot be opened

  Hello

  I designed my first site on Adobe Muse.

  However, when I tried to open the file to continue designing, a message popped up saying "damaged files Adobe Muse site and cannot be opened.

  I read the previous discussions on the same issue:

  -The file is stored on my mac, not synchronized Dropbox or any other software.

  -I have not yet published the site.

  -My machine did however turn off due to load shedding while the application of the Muse was open (but not the file). Would this have something to do with it?

  Set up a phone in Muse site is the best approach... The site you created would be not so hard to convert. I think that you would have better results. Regarding the tablet... I found that he is hit and miss, the site you designed is like not complicated but still once, design for each platform is preferred to Muse. Until the Muse development team decides if they want to introduce responsive design/workflow the best practice is to create for each platform.

• Display of progress thanks to a Muse Site

  Hello

  I'm looking to create a Muse site that consists of a home page with a dozen of pages linking on to. I would like to be able to show progress through these 12 sections to the user on the home page. Ideally, each section will be represented on the homepage with a picture showing is not started, in progress or completed.

  1 is it still possible in Muse - possibly with a bit of coding?

  2. is it possible that these advances to remember if the user returns to a later date?

  I don't think it is possible in Muse even with great coding. And then in all cases, you have a great coding. But Muse is not suitable for this purpose as a platform. You need some sort of php engine.

• Muse site added to the existing WP site without losing content

  I have a WP of GoDaddy site that already contains content. I built an addition on the site, thinking that I would be able to add code to a page on my WP but that did not work. My question is: is it possible to combine a Muse and a WP site without loss of content either? My ultimate goal would be to add the site of Muse for the WP site as a page, so essentially a site within a site.

  WP's not worried about any of this. Any additional HTML content can reside wherever he wants and is dutifully ignored unless it is actively linked within your WP installation and / or use standard functions of the API should actually be extracted. However, it would need some major work, since just enclosing an a Muse HTML in standard WP functions won't work, either. WP has wp_sanitize() and other functions that rewrite and filter the code conforms to the requirements of WP. That being the case, your best option would be to just throw your Muse site in a separate file and link it to the WP sidebar by inserting a custom text widget that contains the absolute URL for the folder and files.

  The Tablet and phone of the special directories have been downloaded, so that they are ready for action. But the iPad is indeed simply go back to the desktop version. Maybe this little button has been turned off for the presentation of the Tablet ?

  Accommodation with Business Catalyst and feature Secure area are probably the easiest. But easier I don't mean easy. There will be a steep learning curve to learn how Business Catalyst works first.

  Unfortunately at this time Muse isn't really the tool to do what you need.
