Muse to crash when inserting html

Hello

I have a problem by which breaks down to Muse each time I try to insert the HTML code below

" < iframe width ="100% "height ="1440px' src = ' http://ryvalcup.Tumblr.com "frameborder ="0"> < / iframe > "

I've set up another master page of my blog home.

Any help would be appreciated.

See you soon

We have been able to reproduce the crash and are working on a fix. Unfortunately because the crash is triggered by the content of the specific site loaded into the iframe, we do not currently have a viable solution to offer. The only thing that should work is to disconnect from the internet when pasting in the embed code. Muse that will create an image of the poster 'real' in Design view, but it will also avoid the accident. When download you / publish the site, the content of the blog will always appear as it should. (Note that you need to be disconnected from the internet any time you interact with the HTML element that contains the embed code, to resize, etc., or you can hang because of the Muse of trying to update the image of the poster).

As soon as we have a fix we have confidence in and she is tested, we will get it in the next version of Muse. However, we missed the window of opportunity to include the fix in 2015.0 who must come out very soon, so the sooner probably about a month from now. :-(

In the long term you would be well served to check the size of the active associated files and manually download all that are greater than 10 or 20 MB by using a program FTP. If this isn't the case, you will meet this next time that there is a need for a complete re-re-export/upload to your site.

  • Muse crashing when embedding html

Muse crashes when video inserting HTML. It is the second time what happens. The Jan 5, case #0187380614, discovered Adobe technology a conflict with a Windows 10 patch installed on 29/12/2015 KB3132372. By removing the patch remotely, this solves the problem, but now the problem is back. I do not believe that any new patches issued MS. This regularly happens with any video iFrame.

Please see Re: Embedding YouTube continues to plant the app >. This was broken by a patch from Microsoft Windows, released December 30, 2015 and resolved by a Microsoft Windows patch released January 5, 2016. If you go to Windows Update and force all the updates that are available for installation, things should be fine.

Thank you Nancy O, just tried that, but it did not work.

I think it has to do with the images and how Dreamweaver sees them.

I have just re-exported images JPEG in Photoshop and they work fine.

The images were created just before the last update CC causing the problem.

  • Crash when inserting image

    RoboHelp HTML x5.02

When I insert a picture into a topic, Robohelp crashes before the preview is available.  That's all there is to it.  I tried a 1/2 dozen times, my only guess is that it is a limitation of file size, but I put a few pictures big enough forward.  The image is of 823 k jpg.  I inserted a few other jpg and GIF files and everything seems to work.

    Any thoughts?

I saw red square when I saved an image on top of an existing image with the same name. Usually a second attempt, or at worst, the closing and reopening of HR has set.

You say HR crashes. Literally? The program closes without saving?

Given another image works OK I'm suspect that something is wrong with the image you want to insert. You can find it? You can reduce its resolution? This should still be good enough for assistance.

Have you tried inserting it into a new project?

    Hi guys,.

I use a MacBook Pro retina i7 with 8 GB of ram. I installed version track Adobe muse and I really love the product so far, except that it blocks a lot randomly, when I sometimes use the file from the location or place the image feature. (Command-D) Muse is also slow. I have some running applications, lots of free space etc but Muse stagnates, hang out and crashes a lot.

Is there a reason known for this? This prevents me to consider buying the program.

    Help, please

  • CS6 Dreamweaver crashes when inserting... anything

I have been experience this problem frequently. When I use the Insert menu if the menu bar or from the Quick tabs, Dreamweaver pane crashes (in general). It happens with form elements, flash videos, appoint you. There is no error message, just a windows alert telling me that Dreamweaver CS6 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Verifies the solution and fails.

So did someone else encountered this? I don't know even where to start, because there is no warning pounce by DW, and it stops responding or the other. It just work for the dead.

    Thank you

You use the DW Extensions?  You can turn them off in your Extensions Manager to dismiss them as possible culprits.  New launch DW.

If this does not help, try to delete your Cache and/or personal DW Configuration folder.  When restart you DW, it will create new ones for you.

  • CS5 crashes when inserting pages.

    I have a 64 page document.

In the Pages palette, I need to insert 4 pages after page 3.  Whenever I have insert pages, it hangs and quits the program.

I find Indesign CS5 very unstable.  Surprising.

It is certainly the document, and whatever it is don't like CS5 is on Master C. I removed this master page, and I can insert pages without problem.

Here, I could tell what might be the problem on this basic form, but I can't. I don't see that this started as a CS3 doc and it doesn't seem to be problems with the converted files this time. You could try to export .inx or .idml since the CS4 version before the conversion, and then open and convert it into CS5.

  • Images and inserted HTML

Is this possible when inserting html in Muse, to have images in the html text? If we use Adobe Catalyst, what should I do to properly encode images in the text?

    Hello

You can use the tag between the text. More information on: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp

Instead of the path to the Image, use "/ Assets/Filename.extension" (replace NomFichier.extension with the name of the image file).

After that use file > add files for download and select the image so that it gets added to the assets folder when you publish the site.

You will not be able to preview, but you can use the file > export to HTML and view the whole site exported to a local folder.

  • Why Muse crash when using embedded HTML

Hi, I am currently using a trial version of Muse, I love this programm. I'm used to working in InDesign and Muse done all this seems very logical to me.

I'm working on the tutorial for KatiesCafe, part 4. His starts by "with the help of embedded HTML to display a blog on a site of Muse'. When I paste the link as shown in the tutorial, or choose Insert HTML, Muse crashes.

Can you please help me, because now I'm stuck. And that I would complete the entire tutorial.

I am currently using v5.0 Build 704. Thank you!

This thread is a change Google made in June that Muse has long workarounds included for (if you don't see this accident in current versions).

This recent crash is due to a different very recent change for the video player from YouTube. There is a video widget YouTube replacement available on the exchange of the Muse http://muse.adobe.com/exchange-library/youtube-widget-without-poster> which avoids this accident by not providing an image of the poster in Muse Design and no display video mode overview of the Muse. It is an interim solution while we are working on changes that are much more important to reduce the probability of this kind of compatibility problems in the future.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Muse crashes / insert HTML (embed YouTube code)

Muse repeatedly crashed after having inserted the code embded HTML on the homepage. Why?

During the YouTube embed code generation check box "Enable Privacy-Enhanced Mode". Apparently, Google has recently changed how their embed code uses cookies and change has exposed a bug/crash in the library of Webkit used in the Muse. This option appears to avoid the bug/crash.

  • Muse crashes when you drag widgets to the Web

I will have a major problem with Muse freeze and lock up when I try and drag the YouTube Social Widget on the canvas. I just start spinning and eventually have to force close the program altogether. Anyone has a solution to any idea of a solution? I'm trying to embed a video for a client. I also tried inserting HTML via the menu of the object and the same result occurred.

    Thank you

    What version of Muse?

Back to Muse 7 a change for the video player used by Google for videos YouTube would result in the behavior you describe. In 7 Muse who was bypassed by using the YouTube Widget Library widget provided with Muse 7.3.

Muse 2014 (the equivalent of version 8) has replaced the HTML rendering engine used for the preview and the generation of images of proxy for Fashion Design. This improves the fidelity of the preview of the Muse and the images of proxy and avoids this crash/hang when inserting YouTube embed code.

  • Why MUSE crash when I try to publish?

Not support svg? I changed a few folders of jpg to SVG because I thought that the images may appear sharper on the screen. When I publish, it gives me an error message and closes my file!

There is an active bug causing crashes when generating the HTML for pages that contain SVG graphics and several breakpoints. We are actively working on a fix that will be included in a 2015.1.2 update.

If all SVG graphics are replaced by raster images (PNG, JPEG, GIF), that will allow to avoid the accident.

We also have a preliminary version of 2015.1.2 which includes the fix for this available in the preliminary forum crash. Adobe Muse beta program is open to all current subscribers to Muse who can accept the terms of the non-disclosure agreement. To join visit http://museprerelease.com>.
