  Just update you 13 windows 7 items... I sat until midnight and found the program data and ended up finding the catalog. I deleted the catalog now. and uninstalled items 13. I hope that when I reinstall it will be like new, and I can go back again. I had messed up I saw when viewing the photos in the media, it was media files and thought they shouldn't be there so I deleted them. Maybe thinking about now I get an error. Before, I made a slideshow with the media from the drive. I just started using elements 13 I used windows live previously for videos. Can you let me know also what photoshop elements or first, you use the most.  Also if I import video files in why do I see them I think of thumbnails. That's where I went wrong and thinking, they shouldn't be here. I brought a few books and trying to go through the learning process. What camera do you use?  Many questions sorry.   In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  I got no error message.  I backed up the registry, but was not able to start the pc, so was not able to restore the registry.

  I couldn't restore last good configuration known - the option was not yet present.

  When I tried to restore the operating system, he asked drivers before it would proceed.

  I have a floppy 1.44 with the raid drivers and after reloading of these drivers, I was able to reload Vista Ultimate.  Fortunately, all my data was recorded in a windows.old directory, and I'm back in business without losses.  Just had to reload all my software.  Do that...

  I think that my problem was caused by disabling all startup applications in msconfig - which resulted in my hard not recognized disk array.  This seems likely.

  Recently, my photoshop CS5 played upward and often when I try to save files it will freeze to the point of crash and clicking on ok. Today too it crashed when I tried to open a photoshop file.

  It's very frustrating because I'm a graphic designer and trying to complete an urgent task, but I suck because anything I do is save and I have to keep starting over. It is literally broke down about 40 when the day is over and I lose so many hours that I just haven't.

  Yes, you're crashing on a good bug known to MacOS.

  Apple is still working on a fix.

  But in the meantime, go run disk utility and repair your disks - which must repair the disk of the data structures and avoid the bug.
