  • Camera RAW 8.3 new functionality put in black and white cursors

How the new feature in 8.3 ACR and Lightroom 5.3 to switch double-click the white and black sliders affect the recommended way to adjust an image?

Optimization of shift-double-click for W & B who is new to 8.3 takes into account your other adjustments (e.g., cultures), so I recommend it as a step of "fine-tuning" that you apply to the end of the stream of adjustment.

  • Built-in camera does not

Hello, the camera on my T-530 does not work. I made a thread on this issue on the Microsoft support site, but I was not able to solve the problem. http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows8_1-hardware/built-in-webcam-not-working-COR...

When I try to capture video with a program, all I get is this symbol:

He does it with all the programs I tried like camera, Windows Movie Maker and Skype. Programs can even record video clips and save them, but the only thing that appears is the symbol.

I tried to change my permission settings. I give you permission to use the built-in camera in Skype, but it does not help. For some reason any I don't have any option to give permission of camera or Movie Maker.

I have also reinstalled the driver for my camera. Then I ran the center of Lenovo and Lenovo Thinkvantage System Update solutions and put updated everything I could.

In accordance with the notice that I got from Microsoft technical support I ran hardware troubleshooting, installed all Windows updates I could get, reinstalled the driver for the camera in compatibility mode and updated my BIOS driver.

After all that, it still doesn't. Any help would be really appreciated!

  • Y580 built in cam w/Skype works only on Windows 7

    Hello

just got my first IdeaPad (refurbished, the Amazon warehouse).
It came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I've now installed Skype 6.3.0.105.
The built-in cam seems to work in general.

Audio calls in Skype are fine, but I can't place a "Videocall" to one of my contacts.

I have downloaded/installed a driver for the cam, but that did not solve my problem.

    Windows 7 32 bit,
    Windows 7 64 bit

I would like your suggestions on how to get the video running in Skype finally.

    Hi qwertz123,

    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.

When you try to make a video call, you get error messages? The button is grayed out? It asks you to pay such as discussed in this thread?

A screenshot would be great if you get the error messages.

    Let me know your findings,

    See you soon

  • ThinkCentre E73z built-in camera cannot be used in Skype

    Hello

I just finished the complete update of the preinstalled windows7 Professional on my new ThinkCentre E73z. It is the first use.

I am very disappointed. When I installed Skype it is said that Skype can not detect any Webcam. They offer to buy a.

When I opened the new computer package he had "user brief noctices" paper and it indicates that there is a camera on the front. This is a mistake and actually ThinkCentre E73z doesn't have a built-in camera or this camera is not equivalent with a webcam?

It's my first Lenovo. Maybe I should take it back to the shop and ask for my refund. What is going on?

Lenovo has preinstalled this windows 7 Professional. They built in a camera, but forgot to install a driver for their hardware?

Really? The customer must install the driver? And who?

    I'm puzzled with her.

I came across this from camera first, what else, more serious things can I expect later?

In any case, can you give me your opinion what do I do?

By using the Device Manager in Win7, how do I know that there is a camera or not?

Micro hardware and camera are missing from this computer. It's the final explanation.

  • Built-in camera R400 on Vista in Windows scanners and cameras

    Hello

I'm not able to use the camera on my R400 within Windows. The same device works great with google talk and other messengers.

On the audit 'Scanners and cameras' in the Panel, there is no device not found, and Add a new device helps not at all. Although the 'Camera' is visible in the Device Manager list.

Driver version: 5.8.53003.0 (also tried with 5.8.49004.0)

    Lenovo camera Center version: 1.0.24

I think it is reasonable to assume that the explanation of the procedure also applies to your R400:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-67209

  • Lenovo ThinkPad X 1 carbon touch connects to two external monitors (1920 x 1080)

I'll order Lenovo ThinkPad X 1 carbon Touch.

I want to figure out a way to connect to 2 monitors (same model, 1920 x 1080)

the laptop monitor could either be disabled or enabled.

Q1) how about "Lenovo DisplayPort two-way cable DisplayPort?

will there be any display lay?

-the laptop monitor must turns off?

My two monitors are VGA-HDMI/DVIonly supported. In this case, the installation would be

x 1 button of carbon-> Lenovo DisplayPort to dual DisplayPort cable-> mini displayport to hdmi

    Q2), anyone tried this before?

    Q3) all other options?

    Thank you very much.

    X 1 carbon spec touch I'll order

    -Intel Core i7-3667U, 2.0 GHz, 4 MB L3, 1333 MHz FSB)

    -8GB 1600 MHz DDR3, 8 GB, 1 location

-Intel HD Graphics 4000, 1 GB

-Ethernet Via USB (included dongle), Intel Centrino Advanced N 6205 (a/g/n) Wireless Broadband Mobile option 3G / 4G (LTE), Bluetooth® 4.0

-DVI via optional dongle, dongle included VGA, headphone/Microphone, Webcam video HD built-in, (1) USB 3.0 port, (1) USB 2.0 port, (Note: external to RAS access card reader and USB docking station must be ordered separately.)

T1) for Displayport to Displayport splitter, you can keep the internal LCD screen. Given that the laptop considers external two monitors connected via the dispatcher as a simple external LCD.

It would be easier for you to get just a Displayport to Dual DVI splitter.

    http://intrl.StarTech.com/AV/splitters/DisplayPort/DisplayPort-to-Dual-DVI-multi-monitor-adapter-MAL...

It works on the same principle, but do the DVI out instead of the Displayport port on.

  • Built-in camera?

Hey all, I have a Thinkpad W510 4318-CTO running under Windows 7 64-bit. I ordered the computer with a built-in camera, and I can't make it work, everyone. It will not be displayed in the list of devices, I can't find the drivers for it on the site, and I spent hours to understand what to do without a solution. If I open the communication parameters, a camera image appears next to "Device settings", so I know SOMETHING is there. I can't take only in fact images or video.

    What could happen here?

You have loaded any software that uses the webcam?  I also have a W510 with built-in camera.  I can make the camera settings and see an example of image by pressing Fn + F6.  AFAIK there is no software preloaded for the camera.  I am able to use it as a webcam with Yahoo IM.

I heard that yawcam is a decent free software to capture video or photos of the camera.  I think it's www.yawcam.com.

    I hope this helps.

The thing is that it turns on automatically when I use Skype and the device manager says that the camera is recognized as well... it seems I don't have drivers and the device works. I just need to know how I can start, someone can help me...? [Thank you in advance:]

    Hi skakalet,

There is no button 'ON' or 'OFF' for the camera. You will need to use a third-party program like yawcam to the for use.
