  I have a wireless network in my house that consisted of a 30 MB cable internet, Netgear 900n, HP Officejet Pro 8600, 2 laptops from Dell with Windows 7, a laptop Lenovo with Windows 7 and Dell with Windows 7 trick, all printed matter very well.

  The HP Officejet 8600 was added to my network about 2 months ago.

  I added a Macbook Pro and Macbook Air about 3 weeks ago.  The two Macs printed fine for about a week.  Then suddenly they stop.  I spent about 2 hours on the phone with HP's Service, and finally, they said to my router.  So I called Netgear.  NETGEAR was useless!  They wanted me to accept fees for services before they would even discuss the issue.

  As a result of information provided by the HP support service, and because Netgear will not support their product, I quickly bought a new router - an Apple Airport Extreme.

  Macs will recognize the printer will print if connected via a USB cable, but do not print wirelessly on the Officejet Pro 8600.  The fine impression CPA.

  The frustration that is felt is made up by the fact that Macs printed very well with the Officejet Pro 8600 2 weeks and now the printer shows just "idle"... even with a new router. (see image below)

  More likely a problem with Multicast, which Apple devices are relies on to communicate with the device through the network.

  First try unplugging the router for 30 seconds.

  Connect to the power supply and wait 2-3 minutes.

  Turn off the HP printer and turn it back on, then check all difference.

  If it persists, try to change the configuration of your router as follows

  Note: the settings below are not related with the HP product, I provide you with the steps as a best efforts and those based only on my own knowledge. You can try to change the settings of the router at your own risk:

  1. Open the router configuration page (you'll find listed as the default gateway by clicking the icon on the printer wireless, then print a network configuration report.
     
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the configuration option in the menu, and then click Setup WAN.
  4. Be sure to uncheck the box Disable IGMP proxy transmission and apply the changes.
  5. Click on the LAN configuration on the same Setup menu.
  6. Set the RIP RIP-2 Version and apply the changes.
  7. Restart your router and then check any change.

  You can use the 5 Lightroom Catalog and improve it in Lightroom 6, therefor all folders and collections will be identical in both version.

  Open the Lightroom all holding the key Alt/Opt and select only the 5 Lightroom Catalog and it will switch to it.

• Photoshop Save and open pop-up windows black screen

  After upgrade my mac to the latest el capitan (10.11.5), I noticed that photoshop cs5.1 acted upward. I can no longer open or save files because the pop up screen is all black. I looked in other forums and tried to change the General on Acrobat preferences that seem to help some people with their problem, but it did not help me.

  The pictures below are what looks like on the screen when you try to open a file and when you try to save a file.

  

  I am at a loss on what to do, as I do not know if there is a problem with photoshop itself, or just the update more recent el capitan.

  CS5 is not supported and could be a problem with the latest OS, but first of all I would like to try to reset your preferences: restore default preference files

• How to avoid the glossy look and brilliant nostrils?

  I just built my first character of fuse and when I import into Photoshop, its nostrils are incandescent - as if the light shines through the back of his head!

  Hey, Malcolm.

  Best way to explain what basically rendering 3D correctly really takes a lot of time, haha.  So that you may be able to work with the real-time 3D model and make changes quickly, we use two different rendering methods.

  There is an "Interactive" mode which is not like the beautiful light/shade, but is very fast - and that's what you see when you interact with the default template.

  Then, there is a mode "Raytraced" which is much more advanced calculations and stuff to give you a proper lighting / shadow.  Raytraced rendered may take time if so we can not use it all the time.

  In order to get the lights/shadows appropriate you need to perform a path Ray would make on the document.  Best way to do this:

  • Select your 3D layer in the layers panel
  • Make a selection in the drawing area to the area that you want to make (I recommend to test rendering of area to check the lighting/shadows before committing to make the whole layer).
  • Push the button is rendered at the bottom of the properties panel (it looks like a cube in a rectangle box, right next to the delete icon).

  There are other things that you must do if you want to get the best image search quality such as the addition of secondary lights!  You can add more lights in the 3D Panel using the small icon of light at the bottom.  Have 2-3 stage lights and adjusting their colors can make a big difference with the Assembly of your character in the scene.  Here is a small image for some comparisons:

  

  You can see the image with two lights a look much more realistic lighting and shadows and raytraced of one and two versions are much nicer and cleaner!

• When I try to type text, Photoshop crashes and stops working.

  Hello. I recently installed some special fonts in my PC. I used them in Photoshop in a file called "Letterblock prime". They worked very well. I saved the file under a new name, and then I tried to open Letterblock bonus and make another. But when I open Letterblock bonus, I got a message saying that some fonts are missing, and I clicked on "Do not resolve." Photoshop frozen and did not work at all. I couldn't even close the application and had to use force to stop smoking.

  Then I opened Photoshop and open a different file, a JPEG Normal, just to see what would happen if I tried to type text on the subject. I clicked on the "T" button, but there is no blinking cursor, as a symbol of the cross and Photoshop froze again and I couldn't do anything at all with it. I had to resort to force to leave again.

  These special fonts may cause this problem? Do you think I should uninstall them?

• Photoshop CS4 and Question print Mountain Lion

  I recently downloaded CS4 on my new Macbook running Mountain Lion Pro retina, and I am not able to print on my Epson 3800 printer CS4 versions. When I hit the "print" key, on the Epson 3800 printer light flashes once, but nothing happens.  The file does not even get sent to the print queue.

  Photoshop CS4 otherwise works perfectly well on my Macbook Pro retina.  In addition, other applications on my Macbook retina print perfectly on my Epson 3800 printer.  For example, I can print from Aperture for the Epson 3800 printer very well.  I use the latest Epson driver on Epson site.

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Since your Epson 3800 printer works well with other applications, a workflow work around would be to export your Photoshop file in a different format (for example, .jpeg, .png, .tiff or same .pdf according to what is your content). By exporting it in another format, you can open it using other applications (such as Acrobar Reader or preview) and print it from there. While this isn't the most ideal lsolution, it should do the trick if you're in a hurry to print.

Uninstall and reinstall do not work. Is on the phone with Adobe 5 times since that happened on June 18. Probalby spent 5 hours on the phone with 4 different tech. I'm waiting for a recall, but the guy Adobe told me that it will be 2 days. Other engine have this same problem... everything is resolved? Help!

  PS - also made a new user account and tried to open with that, thinking it was a permissions problem. Always error 16. Frustrating... can not work if I don't have the software.

  I found a solution on a post in the forum.

  Installation of creative application Cloud Desktop caused my PS CS6 and applications of Cloud Photoshop CC go error 16. After trying just about everything, open the Terminal and type:

  sudo chmod-r 777 library/Application\ Support / Adobe

  instantly solves the problem.
