My email has been hacked two days ago.
I've followed all the advice on changing password, run anti virus and anti malware scans, but it seems that the same thing happened last night, all this be it on a smaller scale. Is there anything else I can do?
Why don't you tell what mail program you use? Should guessing us? Maybe one of them?

You have not necessarily been hacked if it is the only symptom.
In Hotmail,.- Click on Contacts.
- Click on View invitations.
- Click groups.
- Click No, thank you to those who show themselves.
- Click on change your invitation settings.
- Select private.

Do not install or run an anti virus app.
How do you know that your email has been "hacked"? It is a common practice for spammers to forge an envoy from the e-mail address. It may be that your email address has been misused. There's nothing to do if this is the case for you. The spammer will soon pass and usurp another email address.
It's a good idea to immediately change your password by email if someone would actually managed to access your e-mail account.

Anyone having problems with the BT Home Hub 5 since the firmware has been updated two weeks ago?
Since the firmware has been updated a couple of weeks, my air 2 canned disconnection from the wifi ipad. And if she's not be disconnected it asks the router to renew the lease every few minutes. Sometimes I can't the internet connection, other times I have connection, but used to play embedded videos. I have to turn the ipad works to recover.
In addition, my ipad think that the ip address is 127, but my router it's 115!
I tried BT, but British users will know it is terrible, they are.
Anyone with problems and suggestions? I tried everything until and including resetting the network settings. I'm sure it's the router.

If you can afford to buy your own router this will work much better
I use a Netgear without problems 6300rv & double speed
Works even at the top of the long garden.
If you are not bound to bt try Plusnet based in Sheffield
Very good at solving problems.

My e-mail account (hotmail) has sent two mass mailings a week out no content, just a bogus link. My friend who received one of me also received one from a account yahoo with the same bogus link.
I have Verizon Internet Security Suite that says no virus. I also ran a Windows Live security sweep which came also own.
I am still able to access my e-mail account, but I changed the password and secret question.
What we can do to prevent my friends, etc. to penetrate these false emails? I use a secondary e-mail address for now.
My computer seems to work well - no odd shut downs or the inability to open a session. I got 1 or two strange error messages.
