my file cptx en version 7 no longer opens after have been opened with a 9 (trial) version...

Help! Hello to all. I'm working on a project of e-learning on captivate version 7.0. curious to see what's new in version 9 I loaded my project in a demo version. now my file cptx opens more in version 7 that is only made a change on a text. CAN YOU PLEASE help me pour open again my cptx under my version 7 of captivate. Thank you

Normally you have an EU warning that it is not possible to open a file in an earlier version and the recommendation back up the original version of the file before you save in the format of 9. I hope you have a "backup"?

I get this window popping up that reads, "files required for Windows to run correctly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.»  To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.  Insert your Windows XP Professional CD2 now. "The problem is that I'm not running XP Professional.  I am running XP Media Edition (do not know what version - when I look at 'System' in the control panel it says version 2002, but the OS disc that came with my computer says version 2005 with update rollup 2).  In any case, I only have an installation disc, and when I insert it, the computer tells me it's the wrong disc.  What should I do?

Is the CD you have an XP bootable installation CD authentic or some kind of restore CD provided with your system (they are not the same thing).  If it's a CD of Windows, this Service Pack is on the CD?

I hope that you are curious to know what is the file and when you know that, you can decide what to do about it.

You must click Cancel, and then click Yes to keep the file, then you will have an event to watch which will tell you what the problem is the file.

Search where you sign in to see what is the name of file system Viewer, then decide what to do.

The event will look something like in this example:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Windows File Protection
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 64005
    Date: 10/01/2011

I assume that you use the application overview.

I can't find an answer to back up everything, but a workaround could be while the file menu options are visible, press the option key

and the point of the window will become close, if you click on that dialogue will ask you if you want to restore the changes or save

pressing Save will close the image with the changes and then move to the next image and so on.

After you have installed the XP SP3.

How can I fix this error.

Media Center worked fine until I installed SP3.

    Hello

I imagine the inconvenience that you have experienced, but don't worry, we are here to help solve the problem and guide you in the right direction.

Ehshell.exe is a Windows system file that is used to run Microsoft Media Center. It is not a critical system file. However, the ehshell.exe file can become infected and cause errors trying to run certain programs. If the ehshell.exe is absent, it can also cause errors. Reinstall a clean copy of ehshell.exe with the Microsoft System Restore.

    (a) click on the "Start" menu, then click on "programs". Scroll down and click on "Accessories," then "system tools." Click "System Restore."

    (b) click on 'Next' in the system restore window to view a list of points of restoration which has been archived.

    (c) select a restore point created before the ehshell.exe file becomes corrupt or got deleted. If no restore point until this time is listed, click on "Show restore points more" to select the one that is before this date. Click 'Next' to choose which restore point.

    (d) click on 'Finish' to start the system restore. The computer will restart once the process is complete and the ehshell.exe file is reinstalled.

If the problem persists, follow these steps:

You try to run the following commands to re-register all Media Center services:

    (a) close Media Center

    (b) click on the start menu, choose run and type cmd , and then press ENTER.

    (c) in the command prompt, run the following commands to type (or copy/paste) the one at a time and press on enter:

    · Regsvr32.exe atl.dl

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehl Sched /unregServer

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehSched/service

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRecvr /unregServer

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRecvr/service

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRec.exe /unregServer

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRec.exe/regserver

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehmsas.exe /unregServer

    · C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehmsas.exe/regserver

    · Restart the Media Center

Hope this helps and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

  • WAV file is no longer opens with the scope

WAV or other sound file would always open with "scope". That is to say, visualizations-bars and waves-scope. I find the scope of inestimable value. But now any audio file I opened has a rating of 1/8th static like display.  Anyone know why my audio files to open with the scope? I keep all my audio and video files on a separate computer that is never connected to the internet. Thank you.

I found the answer. I used two computers for comparison. I open Windows Media Player and found in the 'VIEW' tab, this 'LIBRARY' had been chosen instead of "SKIN". When I chose 'SKIN' visualization 'SCOPE' started working when I open a WAV file.

  • Can you open/edit indesign CS3 files that have been created with CS5?

I recently purchased indesign CS5 and use that for my internship. However, my boss is still using CS3 and said that she could not open or edit the indesign file that I sent him.  I looked to see if there was an option in 'export' and have not found anything.  I use a mac and I think she uses a P.C., too, when I finally sent him the file, I was still with my free trial - all this make a difference?  Help, please!

What has been covered time without end, but anyway, I'll do it again!

You must export a CS5 idml file, and then open the idml in CS4, export a file inx there then that open in CS3 and save it as an indd.  Sorry but there is no way round, presence, end of history etc etc.  If she's using CS3 and you use CS5 there are no roads between them unless you have CS4, and even in this case the road is littered with pitfalls!  Look at here for a pretty long discussion / sometimes write on the subject.

Ultimately it will have to be upgraded, or you could see if you could buy a CS3 or version 4 but it is very difficult to get a legitimate copy, the only way is to buy it off someone you know and most of the people do not sell because they upgrade.

Best new last, there is a solution in the short term to this guys blog and you can download a trial version of CS4 that will last for a month.

  • Why most of the files by e-mail in local folders open with the Message Search screen?

Not much more to say. Instead of open and display the message headers and the preview window, most of the E-mail files opens with message search window. It seems that the size of folders or something small to display headers of message, messages in the folders.

There are a lot of free disk space (300 MB +) on the drive where the local folders.

Is there a setting in Thunderbird I can shape where I can change this behavior?

    Thanks for your help.

With anti anti-virus programs we just recommend the creation of an exclusion for the Thunderbird profile folder and see the people for the antivirus provider. Malwarebytes (my experience is the free version) is limited. but this seems to be the information you need https://helpdesk.malwarebytes.org/entries/23474946-How-do-I-stop-Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware-from-blocking-scanning-a-file-or-program-that-I-trust-

Note that the exclusion should be for your mail and your e-mail IMAP folders. To get the path to them. Open correct information in the menu help and select the button display folder. Because these files do not contain any executable files or files that would be open by other thing than Thunderbird there should be very very little risk of such an exclusion (I won't tell. Because it's always the exception that proves the rule)

  • How we prevent save as alwways .csv file adding .txt file name if I choose the action "open with?"

My download of csv ASP page is to call:

    Response.Clear
    Response.AddHeader "content-disposition", "attachment; filename = filename.csv ".
    Response.ContentType = "Content-Type: text/csv; "charset = utf - 8"

When I click on the link to this ASP page, appears the dialog 'Opening filename.csv' Firefox:

    filename.csv
    which is a: Text Document

If I choose 'Open with < any Application name >' the file is always opened by the application with a .txt appended to the name of the file, which, in this case, my spreadsheet software prevents opening correctly.

    (a) how can I prevent the .txt is added the filename if the OpenWith is used?

    (b) is there a way to add a CSV type to the tools-> Options Applications Content Type list to avoid the message "which is a: Text Document"?

This behavior does not occur in Chrome, Opera, Safari or IE.

It was a failure of the server, not Firefox.

    ASP should have been:

    Response.ContentType = text/csv"; "charset = utf - 8"

    Fixed!

    Thank you
