  • You have problems with programs
  • Error messages
  • Recent changes to your computer
  • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Of course, the people at microsoft cannot resolve this or that they simply don't care.
I got this information somewhere else, but try this because it fixed the problem.
There are two things you need to do.

Do a right click Select "my computer" button settings Advanced tab click performance and on the
Visual Effects tab change of ' let windows choose what of best for my computer "to
'adjust for best performance ". Apparently windows knows not what is best for your computer.

The next thing you need to do is click on start, Control Panel, administrative tools, services.
What does a list of "Services". Scroll down to "themes", single up until it clicks.
Click the 'stop' option, double click on "themes", which opens the Properties window.
Change from "automatic" to "manual".

It has nothing to do with the drivers or reinstall internet explore or
ranging from the themes varied back.

I found this to be effective, and have not had a problem since.

My system is XP sp3.
