  I accidentally deleted my messages in my Inbox in. I need them back. I checked the unwanted files and trash, but not luck.

  I'm sorry to say, unless download you them to your computer (using thunderbird) and a master in restoring data with portions of your hard drive which is counted as dead space or can bring to a data restore (both directions, your chances are slim at best), you have to say goodbye to your messages.

  Why are you even see? The ntuser.dat file is the user for the registry hive and this title is by default a hidden, system file protected as are the others you list and must not be visible. The registry is a database and .log and .regtrans files are part of the database management system to ensure that it is maintained properly. Windows will normally manage these as part of the closure or restart.

  We're RDPing from Windows XP to a Win2003Server machine.

  As soon as the connection is established the spooler begins to become bogus jobs... They appear on the spooler and quickly disappear (as is in printerd although nothing prints)

  I just erased more than 24 k jobs from a printer in offline mode.
  If I remove the chekmark of the printer on the RDP protocol options the problem ceases, but this isn't a solution for me because I need to print to this printer.

  I did a long time ago and it does not help.

  However, I found a solution.

  'Master Media Center' (free version of the program) will download the XML MetaData files and place them in the folder of video/film. This will force even make a MetaData XML file if it cannot find anything online.

  Apparently, Windows Media Center uses XML files to determine what kinds of display movies under.

  Without a metadata file XML Media Center will put the video file in the type 'Other' even if you wrote a kind under details.

  Now, if I can get my Windows Media Center to stop crashing when I open "Movies!
