my product key for microsoft office is showing "invalid key".

I had my office for a year and I would like to activate Microsoft Office 2007 pre-installed by entering my product key but the # at the bottom of my computer appears as 'wrong' suggestions?

RForgiven wrote: I got my office for a year and I would like to activate Microsoft Office 2007 pre-installed by entering my product key but the # at the bottom of my computer appears as 'wrong' suggestions?

Hello RForgiven, normally when HP or any OEM Microsoft Office load on a system, and you want to use this Office Suite, you are required to buy the product key for installation.

If you have purchased the Microsoft Office Suite when you purchased the system, you would have shipped a product key in the transmission of your new system.

Usually, manufacturers never put a product key on the system case as they would the product key for the operating system.

Just some thoughts.

I entered the number on the sticker under and it says it is incorrect and must verify and enter the correct product key, but I'm definitely entered right.

Could someone let me know how to solve this problem

    Hello!

I think you don't understand something wrong because the product key on the underside of the laptop belongs to your version of Vista and it s not for Microsoft Office.
Please read what is printed on this product key sticker.

In addition it s only a trial version pre-installed and if you want the full version you must pay for it.

  • Update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB982331)

I have updated security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB982331) manually. When I run Windows update, it continues to show that this needs installed but when I go to install automatically, it fails. When I try to Morphix manually again, I said that it is already installed

    Hi Jay Cee.

1 - is the only update that's been prompt to download it again?

    2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    Method 1

Usually, this would happen if the update is not installed correctly even after trying it manually from the installation of the update.

I suggest that you completely remove this update and then download and install it manually and check.

    (a) open the installed updates by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click programs, and then, under programs and features, click view installed updates.

    (b) click the KB982331 update to remove, and then click Uninstall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    Method 2

After you have uninstalled successfully update now download manual and install using the link below.

I try to install the update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB972581), but if failed and I get the error code Code 57A

I have install the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 2

I bet that if you check the size of the file that has been downloaded it will be probably very small, indicating that it was not downloaded correctly.

I don't think you have another computer at hand, or a friend with a USB key which may be able to download and copy it for you?  Maybe burn it to a CD or something.

I could download it and save it to my desktop so I am confident that it is not a problem with the link itself or the file is available for download with success.

I know this isn't a very good suggestion, but the only other option would be to challenge support and see if a technician can take control of your machine and see if they can solve the problem of internet explore.
