  Usually, you should be able to access internal web pages of the router from most web browsers.  Generally, the "default gateway" Windows PC would be the IP to access these pages (ex: http://192.168.1.1.)

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
