My rocket downloaded everything on my computer.

I just got my Sansa for Christmas. Love it, think it's great, and it has some pretty cool features. I plugged in my computer yesterday, transferred all my songs in iTunes to WMP (I didn't immediately put videos or photos) and let it sync. I was wondering why it took a full day just to synchronize the songs of 500 or more, until I realized that the downloaded Sansa every single photo, music and video files on my computer!

Now I have about 5 000 photos, 300 additional songs and 20 videos, that I'm not on it. So my question is, how to remove the extra stuff alllll (preferably without having to delete them all one by one on the player) and make sure that my Sansa download all the files in my files again?

Your problem is Windows Media Player, which is set to Auto-Sync. Depending on your version, the settings are in different places, but connect the Sansa and then click Rip, Burn, sync etc. around and make any manual or sync music just for some files.

If you want to just start again, on the "rocket" under Settings/Control Panel is Format, which will erase everything you have added to the Sansa (it will not disturb the firmware).  So keep an eye on Windows Media Player and what he adds.   At this point, since WMP has already indexed all the media on your computer, you will need to tell it to forget its index - but make sure that it does not remove the files too!

The real way to avoid this kind of madness is to change modes (under Settings/Control Panel) USB - MTP Media Transfer Protocol, which connects with WMP - Meteorological Service of the Canada, which makes the work of Sansa as a flash drive. (You will see two drives, the internal memory and the slot for card, computer or workstation). Then, you can simply drag-and - move folders in the Sansa and see exactly what you get. If you like playlists, you can make them with Winamp in MSC mode.  Personally, I'm a Windows Media Playa hata.
