  Check your Adobe account online.  If you have registered the software version should be shown there.

  Never share your serial number publicly... anyone can use it.

  Try Adobe Acrobat X (10) download Direct Pro, player links and more | ProDesignTools. You have to go a bit to the bottom of the page. This time make a backup on CD or backup HD for the future. You need to back up any software you buy and download. The link will generally not be there forever.

  Please answer this.

  I use Adobe Premiere since 2006 and I currently CS5.5.

  When you are prompted to enter the serial number, I entered the serial number in the history of my account.  Message indicated that the serial number was not valid.  "This is not a valid serial number.  Tried to enter the serial number (24 digital) with hyphens and without hyphens.  No go!

  Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Cleaner of suggestion earlier and who ran it, restarted and still - error message received on the wrong serial number.

  Can I know where you bought this XI Acrobat Pro? If it is from Adobe, then the serial number must be registered with your Adobe ID, but if in the case where you bought the 3rd party vendor please check them.
