  You can use negative margins to extend these bar to fill the height of the Navigation bar.

  The large back button adds more at the height of the Navigation toolbar and you need to adjust the padding of his image to reduce its height.

• How can I change the font size on my tab headings and bookmarks menu? The fonts have inexplicably increased in size and I can't find an option to change them.

  I am running Win8.1 and use Firefox for many years - in part, because unnecessary features are supported, the screen - as they sometimes do with Microsoft products.   Instead of just having the icons and be able to hover over them to see what they are (in which case I forgot), toolbar Firefox displays the icon and name - that takes a lot of space on the toolbar, and not all my icons show. Can I change this? It's annoying to not to see all the icons in the Yahoo toolbar, I want to see either the icons of my shortcuts only - or I want to shorten the size of shortcuts tab, so I can show several of them without shortening the tabs at the top of the page.

  Thanks anyway but I found what I wanted in - "bookmarks" in the FireFox menu at the top of the page - then come on in - "show all bookmarks", then "import and backup" on the new page, click "restore." I simply chose the date of the day, and bookmarks were back. Its actually pretty simple once figure you it out. To bad I could not find these directions in help. I hope that this message will help someone else in the future.

  You can open the bookmarks bar or bookmarks (Library Manager; Show all bookmarks) and copy and paste them in the bookmarks toolbar folder.
