  I've recently updated Firefox to version 11.

  When you work in Magento CMS, certain text fields are projected as empty, as if the data was lost.

  Once you take the lower right and make the bigger field, the text is displayed.

  11 Firefox introduces a problem with TinyMCE WYSIWYG/rich text editor. I wonder if this or a related issue affects Magento?

  You can try an another workaround: zoom a not upward and down a step and see if it causes the text to appear. (You can use Ctrl + Ctrl + - or Ctrl + mousewheel for this.)

• Numeric field appears correctly in a database, but not in another.

  I have a backend application to front end/Oracle 10.2 ColdFusion that I inherited from the company that lost the contract for my business.  On one screen, there is a field that the customer wishes to increase number (10.3) to the NUMBER (10.8).  After searching and conferring with the gov ' t DBA supported the production and test system, it was suggested I just change the field number of the plain, I have on my development system and changed the CF code to allow an appropriate display.  It worked pretty well.   I had the DBA gov ' t change the field in production and test databases to match.   I then FTP'd the CF code to the test system.   It allows the entry and display of the new size of the field, but on saving it (unlike my development test) truncates / turns up (IE. d.-123.87654321 becomes 123.87700000).  I made sure to what good code is there and checked with the directors of the Government databases to match my development database.   What things could cause this problem?   It baffled me.   All instances are identical and the code development and Test is identical.   Any ideas?

  Mystery solved: administrators of the Government has changed the wrong database.  Once it was fixed, it worked.   I hate having to rely on someone else to keep one of my databases.  Share of employment, however, so...

• Text that appears correctly in firefox, but not in safari

  I am new to the forum and had a search to see if I could find any wires that may help me.  I had no luck so apologies if the questions asked a million times and I just don't find!

• Ghost of text for a text field with Add Action

  I have a text field with text ghost. Also, there is a button to add additional text fields. When a user clicks on the 'add an additional text field button' new text field appears but without the ghost of the original text field text. I tried the script of the click event of the button to fire or run:

  textfield.execEvent("ready:form"); or textfield.execEvent("form:ready");

  Why 2 ways? LiveCycle has two ways to present it:

  (1) on the drop-down list for events (e.g. form: ready)

  (2) on the name of the field at the top of the script after box selected event on the menu drop-down (for example textfield.ready:form: :-(Javascript, client)

  Is there a better way to do it? My concern is that if I managed to shoot the event form: ready or ready: shape the event can reset all the text from the original text of default ghost of "Kansas City Royals. Thank you

• Cursor will not appear in the text fields, Google Street View mouseup does not

  My wife and I have almost identical computers and update of Firefox, whenever a new version comes out.
  Lately, only on his computer, when it clicks in the address bar or in a text field, the cursor sometimes does not appear. In other text fields, it appears. In the address bar, whenever you click on it, and then type, there is no cursor, and the entire address bar is always overwritten.
  In Google Street View (I think he uses the Flash Player), she can begin to drag, but then "won't let go"-it's as if the mouse to the top of command is ignored. I have to drag the mouse away from the area of the image, then again, or slide it will continue.

  I have a flash movie 8, in which there is a dynamic text field, load data from the server. Data loading beautifully and appears in a text field as html.
  
  This text as html field uses a style sheet and that works fine for everything except the font. With the help of Flash, I've specified a font of DIN-Medium for the dynamic text on my stage box and still the text that appears when I publish to my Web host seems to be Times New Roman. WTF?
  
  My style sheet specifies no any font family.
  
  Can anyone tell me how I could get the dynamic text box to display the text using the font DIN? Do I need to export the police in the library of my animation flash or something?
  
  

  I have it working now. The question was how I chose to incorporate fonts. I changed some incorporate settings and it seems to work now.

• Slider custom text field (Cap) does not appear

  I created a custom text field based on the standard text field, changes work fine (really just a custom height and width and a border).  The problem is the method of painting which seems to remove the cap of the field when it gets the focus.  To be clear the carret never shown at all.

  In the paint in the first and last method lines that are commented out were a soloution that I tried after reading on this subject.  Something along the lines of the restoration of the default color, but unfortunately without success.   Any ideas would be more useful

  Quick thoughts:

  (a) to remove the requirement to substitute paint by setting the background a Color.LIGHTGRAY using the base class

  (b) you put on the field by using this:

  Super.Layout (TextWidth, TextHeight);

  If you then do the following:

  setExtent (textwidth, textheight);

  you are likely to confuse the field.  If you still want to use the entire height and use the full width and then try to deal with it in the Style, that is, replace this:

  Super(); Call the default constructor

  with this

  Super(TextField.USE_ALL_HEIGHT |) TextField.USE_ALL_WIDTH); Call the default constructor

  (c) why you override onFocus and onUnfocus?  I would like to delete these if you do not have anything specific to these methods.

  Make these changes, and you'll have a more simple TextField.  See if these changes will solve the problem of the caret too.

• Text field increment number of legend - does not correctly load after the backup

  I am trying to create a field of dynamic legend who will be essential are text fields look like a list.  Initially, I searched on how to do this.  I finally found a way to do it, and it is simply to count the number of instances of the text field I and set the value of the legend:

  And that helps my form works very well and the numbers to load fine in the form.  The problem I'm having is that after I save the form and reload, the figures date back to 1 for each text field.  Someone has an idea?

  * To test what I see, go to 'Objectives' and click Add target to create at least 2 additional text fields (so that you have at least 3 overall).  Save the form, and note that the numbers went from 1,2,3 to 1,1,3-triethoxyheptane.  It will be the same if you create any amount.  If you create 5 more it will go 1,1,1,1,5.  I'm puzzled.

  I think that it is related to the initialization of the form sub and how instance manager interprets the subshape County. The "count" on the instanceManager property is the current number of instances of the secondary form. When you add instances of the form in increments of 'count' and she is exposed as a sequential number incremented. However, after economy-close-open the form, the County is irrelevant until you add another instance.

  Try the 'instanceIndex' property and assigning the legend as follows:

  I have a multiline text field in a Flash format that accepts free-form text (which means that the user can press the back key to put space between paragraphs). When this text field is printed in a PDF report, the text after the first declaration of entries by the user is cut off. The field in the report is set to: float, stretch with overflow and print when detail overflows, among others.
  
  I tried to set the field in the report to ParagraphFormat (query.foo) - and in this case it prints on the rest of the text, but it does not insert spaces appropriate between the lines. If anyone knows a way to get all of the text to be printed with the appropriate spacing to return, your help would be appreciated.

  I found the solution to my problem. Looks like how Flash interprets a carriage return is different from an HTML form. He has worked on the ground in the CFR.

  Simple question. I have a simple RTF table that displays a text field. Sometimes, this text field begins with a letter and sometimes text that resembles a certain number. If it contains text that looks like a lot, when I publish in Excel, it displays the number in the form 756342E + 10 (in the form of text!).

• Problem of text selection in the text field for entry in the emulator

  I'm having a problem of text selection in a text field when I run my application in the emulator Playbook. Let me see if I can expose the problem here:

  1. The field in question is a classic text, text with an integrated in police entry field. The domain is in a SWC and referenced in another FILE.
  2. The code is set up such that when a user clicks the field function is called to highlight all the text. The code is more or less as follows:

What is particularly problematic, that's what often happens, is that the whole scene moves upward on 10px when it is clicked on the ground. If I try to click on the same ground once again, another change to the top of 10px or so, etc..

  So why the text not properly selected and why the scene evolves upwards?

  I realize that more information may be required from me to correctly solve this problem, but if someone has all understand why this may be the case, I would be happy to learn from him.

  I can answer the question of displacement.  This is a bug in BB and supposed to be fixed in version «next» SDK

  The question of the selection, I'll guess has to do with the fileld with focus, selection is not possible.  Try to set the focus outside of maybe the text field?
