  I have a Windows XP pro (Lenovo) that I recently ran the recovery and returned to certain configurations of 1.5 years. Now I can't add a network printer and get always the message error «Windows cannot connect to the printer or the name of the printer...» ». I ping the printer and all on my network can add these printers, it's just that a machine that fails to add network printers.

  I disabled the firewall, but were still unable to add the printer. Then I found some difficulties to register for a similar problem, but they were not useful... It really becomes a big headache, especially Windows restore does not work...

  I strongly suspect that 1.5 years, someone has renamed the printer.  Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the print server through My Network Places and see what it's callednow .  Otherwise, you could ask your network/system administrator.  You should know...   One more: I'm assuming that you have specific operating units in the country. Can you check default country in the system of the Receivebles settings? Do you have the value for each unit there?

• How to create a subset of the names in the address book without having to type each name separately?

  When I used to use OE as my email client, it was possible to create "groups" in the address list, with the facility to send then to the group by name, so that each recipient included in the Group of email addresses all received the e-mail in question. (For example, the group named "IVG" consisted of six e-mail addresses, owned by six members of a discussion group, as I do, and I could send all at once simply email for IVG). Now, here's my question: in OE, I could fill the e-mail addresses of members of the Sub-group by simply selecting them in my list (s) global e-mail address. In TB, on the other hand, it seems that the only way to create a "new list" in the global list existing, is to type the address of each recipient by hand - an amazingly arduous task if the subgroup is of any size. And it is not clear that, even when the "new list" is over, it can be used as a "mass mailing" vehicle like the subgroup could in OE. Can someone tell me, please, if and how I can compile a subgroup within the address list of TB in the same way that I have described for OE? (And I can deal with just like a 'name' to send e-mails to all members of the subgroup, as described above?)

  As you describe with OE, use the name of the mailing list replaces the addresses it represents. You can of course just select from your address book as any regular Contact entry.

  A significant limitation of the mailing list of Thunderbird, it is that it must be created in an address book with the Contacts he made reference. In other words, if you generate a list in the PAB, it must contain only the Contacts appearing in the personal address book.   The easiest way is to drag & give up the property from the data of the report portal. Then you will get something like

  Title: @Data.Root.Properties ("title"). Value @.

  I found a viable solution. I can create a user with a name known event. The event that is sent with the event data will include a Source DN string that identifies the sender of the event. The event handler can then handle each event based on the name of the Source. This is equivalent to have several unique named events, is only right they all share a common event data format, which is OK in my case.

  It works very well.

  To use the functionality of the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy), in a new message window, click View | All headers and type the addresses separated by a; Or: Click the button to. (Note: most of the providers have limits as to how many messages you can send both a. 25 is common, but it varies).

  I have XP Home & use Outlook Express for my e-mail. I am 77 years old & I want to transfer the BCC names when I re send emails. I was told to put my e-mail address in the line to & when you click on for it opens your address book which says to, CC, BCC. When I highlight a name along w / the e-mail address & move it to BCC it puts in the name & when you click OK it puts the name in the BCC in the mail that I'm trying to fwd.   If names work in the address book, they should work here as well. OE displays only the name, but the address is included, even though you don't see it. Try this.

  Instead of click to, click BCC field. Now, double click on each desired address and it should be entered in the BCC field.

  Manually put your name/address in the field. Not better?

  I really do not use Hotmail at all, but the first thing come to mind, is that it is the number of new messages you have received from the connection.

  You will need to give this permission to complete file to access, and then make the relevant changes. Please see the link below for more information on this topic:

  Here are the steps to change the ownership and permissions:

  1. right click on the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.

  2. click on advanced and then click the owner tab.

  3. click on edit and then do one of the following:

  ·                  To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups and enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group and then click OK.

  ·                  To change the owner to a user or a group is listed in the change owner to box, click the new owner.

  4. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the Replace owner of subcontainers and objects of the box.

  5. click OK and then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:

  6. you're not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. Do you want to replace the the directory permissions with permissions granting you full control?

  7. all permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.
