I'm a newbie using version 5.0 under Windows. I must be missing something very obvious on the navigation.

I have 3 slides I want the user to be able to go at any time during my training and then pop back to whence they came (a glossary, a list of reference document and a slide of navigation aid). So, I put 3 buttons on each slide (but those) that go to each of these pages. Then I put a 'back to the last slide' button on each of these 3 slides so that when they are done with that they can continue where they left off. Everything works well. The problem is that I have included the navigation standard for play/pause, so if the user accesses one of these special pages, and then select the play button instead of the button I created, training will continue the user to the next in the sequence slide only to not whence they came. Don't I have control over that?

Either by the way, I've hidden these 3 slides after the first screen startup, but before the rest of the content so that I can easily give up these 3 buttons (those using the "rest of project" click boxes) so I don't have to worry about users sequentially hit more than one of those, thus making the unnecessary ' back' button.

I haven't used before connection, but it doesn't have the option 'go to last slide visit', so I thought it was a bust. I tried a bunch of things and other problems, but I stop talking now (; ^) because I guess a solution is obvious for the experts here!

Combination of custom navigation buttons and the PlayBar is not always a good idea. In the case where you want to just hide the reading about these "special blades' bar, this easily by manipulating the variable cpCmndShowPlaybar of system. But be aware that if hide you the PlayBar, you in turn it visible on all other slides because the user can return to one of the slides with jump to the last slide. So, if you want to use this approach:

to the special blades, in the properties of the slide, the accordion of the Action Panel, sign for choose
Assign the cpCmndShowPlaybar with 0
for all other slides that the user can return to the same place in the Slide Properties Panel:
Assign the cpCmndShowPlaybar with 1

The PlayBar is just acting like the control panel of the video recorder: next to go to the next slide slide, not just follow the branching you set up.

FYI tips:

You cannot set the time where an interactive object (button, click box, text entry box) to display for the rest of the project, you need an instance with a unique name on each slide where you need
There is an interesting widget included with CP5.0: GoToSlide that might be useful for you. You can specify the 3 special blades in it (label, please) and since this is a static widget, you can even add it to a master that you then apply to all slides slide where you want this feature of navigation; It will save you a lot of time because you don't need to add 3 buttons on each slide
If you want 3 buttons, there is another static widget buttons in CP5.0 that allows to navigate as well. because it is static, yet once you add it to a master slide; I blogged about this widget: using the button widget. Beware if you use CP5.5 something has changed, let me know in this case.

Mozilla site does not display correctly

ESET is a potential suspect in any secure connection because, by default, it intercepts all navigation connections to filter harmful content. However, if the problem is ESET, then you would encounter problems on all secure sites, so ESET might not be the culprit here, if this does not affect other HTTPS connections.

Assuming that you get an error page, expand the section "I understand the risks" and look for a button Add Exception.

Open AirPort Utility (Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility)

JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 it is an option that you can publish as Web Service directly from the pl/sql package diserable Navigation connections.

I take it, you use the same model of your home page and login page.

You could use 2 different models or get out your elements in your model and put them in page 0.

You can then make them conditional based on the number of page

Portege M400 connected to the WiFi router, but not the navigation of Web pages

I use M400 laptop computer series that I bought in 2005 and do not know if the guarantee was already finsihed, although I paid extra for an extended warranty.

My wireless connection was working fine with my conection DSL broadband 2 years ago, I was using router Netgear wireless. In the last 2 years that I did not use wirless conection, recently I bought Thomson TG585 router to my ADSL connection wireless broadband. This wireless router works fine with my other Mac desktop computer but my laptop is not browse a Web page if it says connected with WiFi router.

I went through all the settings and even I have discussed this question with the technical team bradband and say there is problem with my computer laptop bcz Mac Desktop works fine.

I checked in the wireless troubleshooting setting and still not able to solve this problem.
I use KesperKey Internet Security and I tried to turn it off for the test connection wireless but always face same problem.

I wonder if anyone can help me?

Disable all the security settings on your router and then try to connect the M400 protected wireless.
If you will be able to connect to the WLan and will be able to navigate a few s webpage you could activate step by step all the security settings such as encryption of WLan, Mac address filtering, SSID hidden, etc.

It is not possible. It is totally dependent on how browsers handle it, but otherwise you can not set something like the global key combinations.

Connection and standard navigation
I like the standard navigation because it is easy to put in place and ensures a consistent presentation. However, it involves a linear sequence on the first slide of the last.

Is it possible to exclude some slides of linear sequence (which could be called by extra buttons) and continue to use the standard navigation?

I just found the solution. In the slide, topic navigation settings, you can set the action to run when you exit the slide (jump to certain slide, for example). I think that this feature was not available in Captivate 3, so perhaps that is the reason why I missed it.

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

I have Airport Extreme 6 Gen and a few months back from a 'new' Arris CM820 Time Warner Cable modem. Since then, I did have slowly and dropped connection problems a day - mostly in the evening so that streaming on Apple TV and Roku, and navigation devices on the MacBook Air and iPads at the same time. Each time, I do unplug it, wait 30 seconds and plug back in and it's good for a while. But it happens almost every day. If you have already tested the modem, try to choose a time when you can turn off the AirPort router and connect your Mac directly to the modem for a day or two to try things like that.

To test this theory, try disabling scanning of encrypted sites. I saw these steps in another post:
1. Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
2. Select settings in the left side menu.
3. Adopt a Protection Active.
4. Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
5. Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok
If that solves the problem, but you want to filter encrypted communication, you need to import the Avast! signature in Firefox Certificate Manager of certificates, References tab.
