BlackBerry Smartphones Trouble connecting Telenav GPS Navigator on Nextel 8350i

Whenever I try to use the GPS Telenav browser it gives me the terms of use and request a password to log in. He has never done before, I installed an update, and I never put any type of password. It offers no way to recover a password, or in any event continue on. Someone knows what to do?

Go to telenav.com, and then click mytelenav the top of the screen. Get your PIN, then put your phone number to 10 digits. A text message will be paid to your phone giving you for your telenav account identification number. Then if it works then remove the application (options / advanced options/applications/tone clear telenav/menu/delete) the phone will reboot and when it comes back up just click on the icon to download it

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Telenav GPS Navigator

Hi guys my first post so if I miss info ask for...

    I have a bold 9700 on T Mobile UK V5.0.0.423 (Platform 5.1.0.116)

My probem is I want to be able to use my devices as a sat nav so and T Mobile gave me with telenav GPS Navigator, which, from what I've seen looks ok, but my problem is the phone keeps darkening of the screen during the race, after about 2 minutes, it means that I have to hold a button on the phone to turn the screen bach till I can see the map... is there a way I can stop the screen from dimming while using sat nav... otherwise what is the point of the sat nav if you do not see the screen...

Thanks a lot for all your input guys...

There is an option for this in the settings in the Telenav application.  You can have it turn on turns or do keep the screen turned on all the time.  TeleNav is great.  I use it all the time!

  • Not have blackBerry smartphones to connect to internet

I realized that my phone is unable to connect to the internet, even if I am able to send and receive emails from my phone and my wifi connection is fine. I tried to take the battery, return service directories to my phone and I also went to the registry option in the host routing table but does not change every time that I try to use the Web browser. It loads for a while and then the message "unable to connect to the internet, try again later appears. Is there anything else I should do? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the community!

From your post, I can't tell if you do them in the order required... or know if every successful step as they should before moving on to the next step. So, with a strong carrier signal AND your WiFi radio OFF, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

    Good luck!

  • Error on blackBerry Smartphones with calendar synchronization - Outlook 2007 for Nextel Curve 8350i

Since last Monday, I start to have problems of synchronization with Outlook 2007.  I have a Nextel 8350i curve. An Intellisync error message appears saying 'Operation complete unexpectedly.'

It comes to my environment. I do not use BES.  I now have Desktop Manager 4.7 installed (it changed from 5.0 when I started having this error).  I have 2-way sync set up for the calendar only, right now.  And I have a few recurring events in my calendar. I use my work email, which is recognized as a personal email account.

As I said, the problem started last Monday.  After a search through various forums, I tried the following: my BB wiping and restore with backup files.  It does not work.

I tried deleting the calendar databases, wiping the BB and restore with backup files.  It worked for a day.

Then, I uninstalled Desktop Manager 5.0 and installed 4.6.  No difference.

After talking with the technical support of BB, who believes that there is a problem in my computer, I completely cleaned, virus scanned, defragmented, updated, scanned my computer. After all this, Calendar sync worked 3 times before crapping again.

I am at a loss.  My next step would be to create a new connection to my computer. But I doubt that this will fix the problem.

    Any ideas?

    Welcome to the forums

I like how you post all the steps you took, it makes our job a lot easier!

  • BlackBerry smartphones which connection is the default value? Network or a Wi - Fi connection? And that they will go out when not to use data applications?

    BlackBerry 9810

    7.0 bundle 1355 (v7.0.0.261) platform 5.0.0.469

    AT & T

How do I set up my default BlackBerry for Wi - Fi connections, rather than the AT & T network, where a Wi - Fi connection is available?

Use of data stops when I move to another application?  In other words, if the web page loads always when I move check text messages, or if the web page refreshes periodically.  How does the data usage stops?

Your default BlackBerry automatically a Wi - Fi connection if such a connection is present and is strong enough.  As long as your Wi - Fi connection is enabled, data will travel through it.  The only way to ensure that no data continues to use the Wi - Fi is turn off once you have finished with it.

    I hope this helps you.

  • Director of office of blackBerry Smartphones no connection BB recognition despite Device Manager recognizing the BB!

    I'm turning crazy connection.

I installed desktop manager 4.6 provided on the CD, as the user guide says. I connected the cable between my BB 8220 pearl.

The BB asks me if I want to turn Mode mass storage and I clicked 'YES '.

Explorer Windows allows me to view the contents of the phone.

BB Device Manager tells me that "" USB - PIN: xxxx is connected ".

YET in the Desktop Manager software on the upper left corner, it says 'Disconnect' and on the lower left corner, it says: "Device Connected (PIN): No.

Does anyone know why the BB device manager says the BB is connected by software office says the opposite?

I have tried everything to uninstall for re - install desktop Manager and also pass the phone power on and off.

    Thank you

    Hello

Assuming you have an internet account of blackberry with your mobile service provider everything you have to do is connect your phone to your wifi to your home/work.

You will need to go to options > wifi

Then press menu to the left of the trackball blackberry to bring up the menu and select 'new '.

He must then browse the available networks, select the network you want and enter the password if necessary.

The BB must then connect to this network.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones problem connecting to Blackberry App World

Hi there, hope someone out there can offer help or advice. I recently had difficulties to access the App World on my 8310. Receiving the message "upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilities at Blackberry App World. Contact your service provider for more details"I contact my service provider (Vodafone UK) who confirmed my plan includes navigation. I am able to web access, vodafone live, facebook, etc., but each time to connect to get App World, the same message. Tonight, I deleted and reinstalled the latest version, but no change. By the way, I was able to use the service in the past downloaded app facebook etc, it's just in the last four or so weeks I have encountered this problem.

I also removed battery etc to see if restart works, but nothing works.

    Someone has suggestions

    Thank you in anticipation

Hello and thanks for your reply,

After surfing through a large number of entries on this forum, it seems that I was not alone with my problem, seems to be a problem of RIM on each network carriers, however, I phoned Vodafone UK, who have been very helpful and resent my service books and prayed I confirmed my email addresses registered with my blackberry via my pc. As a precaution, I removed App World on my device and it recharged, and fortunately it seems to work now.

Hope this will help others out there

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot connect to BB-servers abroad

    Hi guys,.

I just moved to the Netherlands in Phoenix Arizona, for six months. When I connect to my wi - fi network on here it connects and everything is fine. However, when I try to use the browser that it doesn't work and the bbm, the whatsapp or. just about anything that's internet partners.

When I hit the status of the service, it is connected to the wi - fi network, but not for the blackberry service and the server. I guess that's the problem, but I have no idea how to solve this problem. When I activate data services everything works perfectly (but those are Dutch, so they cost a lot of money to activate here.) My friends who have also moved here with me have no problem at all and work perfectly on wi - fi from their blackberry.

    Help?

    See you soon.

Yes, all data will flow by WiFi free of fresh charge and your voice and SMS does not work.
