For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you're ready
to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (are not
run several) of the following three:

    Avira AntiVir
    Avast
    Microsoft Security Essentials

You also need anti-spyware software. I recommend that you download and
    install MalwareBytes AntiMalware (freeware).

  • can u tell me please a good antivirus tht I can download for free? It should be an all-package! I mean I know tht good antivirus is not free, bt still, is possible?

If possible can u please give me the best sites with no virus?

    Hello

Here's what I use and recommend: (all are free)

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.
Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven very reliable and compatible.

Then use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx and download Malwarebytes.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except away from Standard, Web and network is working.

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(Sometimes you have to temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom right of IE)

Avast - stop home - free - all shields you do no need except leave Standard, Web and network running.
(Double-click the blue icon - details look OK. - upper left Shields - those that you do not cancel).
    http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and that would be unusual with
Avast and Prevx running except a low occasional (not much), updated cookie and then run it as
a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.

  • I need to install antivirus software on a virtual machine if I only use vm to a printer driver only for windows?

    Hi all

Searched for an answer via Google and there, qualification so far found no.

I am currently set up with Fusion 3.0.1/XP Pro on an iMac / Snow Leopard.  The only reason I use the merge on this machine is as follows.  We have a Sony SnapLab Pro UP_CR20L digital photo printer for our personal use.  Brief history on printer: these printers are sold on the commercial aspect of the site of Sony, generally used in kiosk, sales retail store settings.  Sony has provided only a Windows printer driver for this printer, so my need to use Fusion to print from my computer on the SnapLab.

That being said, I don't want to use the virtual machine for anything other than this one function: printing photos to my photo on the side of Mac through XP for the printer folder.  No internet on the side navigation XP. Period.

Can anyone offer upward not reasons to play with headaches run the anti-virus on the virtual machine software?

    Thank you all ~

NONE.  Windows is not also subject to security as everyone seems to think.

Firstly, Windows is that ALTHOUGH the user.  If you use this VM, and you surf the NET and download files, the USER is the reason Windows crashes, not Windows.

Windows makes it EASY because you are an administrator rather than forcing users to degenerate into a user Admin Linux by default.

So if you install Windows 2008 or Windows 7 leave the enabled user access mode, do not put the user Admins member and you will have NO problem.

    So no, YOU can't BC

Whereas the purpose of publication, I would be better with Indesign CS5, CS5 Deisgn Premium... or something else that I might not know?  Thanks in advance for your time and your consideration.

The tool you want Adobe's InDesign CS5.

You can buy InDesign in a number of ways, including standalone, or in a package. One of these packages is Design Standard, which includes PhotoShop, Illustrator and Acrobat. It is probably the right choice for a print design, because you often need to manipulate images and InDesign is good for them say and the integration of text, but not to change.

Another package is Design Premium, which includes everything what in Deisng Standard and a number of tools to make web development. It is probably not worth the money unless you are producing an output for the web.

And Yes, these are advanced tools and the learning curve can be steep. So, it would not be the best use of your resources.

  • which antivirus software will work with a new processor 64-bit with 32 bit xp pro?

Insalled new computer with an older version of xp pro 32 bit and a 64-bit processor.  Need a compatible Antivirus software.  Avast and AVG locked system does not load.

Any of them, the operating system is what determines if you use a 64-bit anti-virus program not the processor. Lock-up questions do not sound like they are a related program.

Did you just install a new processor? All programs are locked up? Uninstall Avast and reinstall, see if that helps.

    Hello

    1. what anti-virus software you are using on the computer?
    2. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?

    3. when exactly, you get this Antivirus software warning message?

    Method 1:
You try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner mode safe mode with networking and see if it helps.

To restart in Mode safe mode with networking enabled:

    (a) restart the computer.

    (b) when you see the logo of the manufacturer of the computer, press F8 .

    (c) on the screen Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode with networkand press enter.

    (d) to connect to your computer with an account with administrator rights.

Now, try to scan your computer for Microsoft Safety Scanner, it will help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Warning: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2:
I suggest you try the procedure described in the link and check.

  • No longer connect to the internet after you uninstall antivirus software

    Hello

Please forgive me if there is a simple solution to this problem. I have already undertaken some research and various attempts to correct them accordingly in vain.

    System: Windows 7 64-bit

Problem - no more have the internet connection after you uninstall antivirus software

the story so far: yesterday I uninstalled VIPRE Internet Security 2014 as suggested on their guys to support online so I could upgrade to the latest version (2015).

After uninstalling and restarting, small notification of connection there was an error in this regard. When you look at the map, it linked the wireless modem, but there was a red cross between it and the symbol of the world of the internet.

I tried another public network and tried to use my phone as a hotspot and still the same result.

    System Restore does not work.

    I defragged and cleaned up.

I downloaded a program called Vipre rescue to find the virus.

I tried with windows on and outside firewall.

I installed a full copy of 2015 AVG (free) and still no luck.

I tried a flush.bat file (easily on another where I read that someone had the same problem).

Any help would be most welcome!

Thanks for getting back to me.

I dropped last week and held a store of the local computer. I just returned it today. Guys said they had 'fun' with her. Which means it took a lot of time for them to trouble. Apparently there had been some severe or ciritcal crashes who think could have been partly to blame.
