  You are welcome

  If the CD/DVD drive in the works of PC Gateway, you can (at least temporarily) remove it and install it in the HP, you can run your recovery disc and reinstall Vista.  Once everything is running on the HP, you can always remove the CD/DVD drive and reinstall it in the gateway PC if you wish.

  Yes, you can use the drivers Vista for your PC, and it should work fine.

  After have connected you to the internet, windows update will download all drivers windows 7 that may be more current than the vista ones.

  DO NOT under any circumstances to Flash BIOS after installing Windows 7, or you may damage your PC most likely permanently (as in kill him).

  If you find that you need to update the BIOS, do so now with Vista installed.

  If the product is installed (Norton _) - it would be better to contact them (Symantec / Norton) support - as it's their product and they will be able to tell you where to look.

  otherwise, you can try third-party products like Belarc Advisor - that should give you said information if it exists on the system.

  Hi all

  I have a clever script that I use to make fractions by inserting a textframe inline.  It has a dialog box that allows you to enter the numerator and the denominator.

  Now, I would like to change this script to search for fractions in the text (for example, 5/16) and replace this part with my textframe inserted automatically.

  The problem is I can not understand how to find the word containing the character slash and then to get the insertion point, so I can add my textframe as an inline.  Once I found the word with the slash (fraction), I think I can split the fraction in the slash content for the numerator and the denominator.  Just can't pop than textframe there at this time and replace the word.

  Have I made this pretty clear to anyone who might be able to help?

  you will find that I think it's a relevant discussion. I required the user to select a slash but this is where you will be after your script has found a slash. I hope this helps. I was maybe a little pedantic on this page, but this is all very new at the time.

  You can also make your own regular install of W7 disc and allows to reinstall windows 7 If you can read the product key 25 character microsoft on the COA sticker on the case of the PC. You will have none of the programs supplied with the PC using this method, however.

  If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

  Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

  Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

  If this isn't the case, you will need to purchase an external wireless adapter.
