  I have an oracle(10g) report based on something similar to this:
  SELECT * FROM emp
  WHERE dept_no =: p_dept
  and the value of the parameter p_dept list is based on the following query:
  SELECT distinct dept_no, dept_name FROM dept
  
  It works very well, whenever I call report form (10g), I get the list box and I can choose which Department to display employees.
  I also have the option to display all employees in all departments.
  How can I change the SELECT statement to achieve this.

  By default, the DEPTNO column is a number:

  SQL > desc dept

  In any case, just adapt the type of column in the SQL query

  If DEPTNO is a TANK in your DB, change the first query to:

  I'm trying to understand if there is a way to obtain Chargeback reports more meaningful than what comes out of the box with vFoglight 6.7.1.  If I use flat on many levels, I have to create too many different levels and modules (and spend too much time by assigning them).  If I use MRU I get closer to what I'm looking for, but I don't know how much storage value add I/O.  I need to take into account the costs of storage, but I need to be able to charge per GB, are not the OPS / s.  Someone has found a way to dynamically load things like the number of processors, RAM and storage (per GB)?  It doesn't seem practical to create add ons for many configurations you end up with when you have hundreds or thousands of virtual machines.

  In short, I would like to be able to set a cost by vCPU and GB RAM GB of storage and power who object my VMs.  If you use MRU I would like be able to replace the storage I/O with used storage space, or add at least as an option.  If there is a way to add dynamic Add-ons which would work too.

  Here's how opposition to the payment:

  GHz consumed * rate per GHz

  vRAM Allocated * availability % * rate per GB vRAM

  Storage in GB * rate per GB allocated

  The reasoning is as follows:

  CPU allocated dynamically, and the number of cores is generally not relevant for most.  (Yes, I know vCPU to the ratio of base, but in real life environments, not usually the bottleneck CPU)

  vRam is not allocated dynamically, so using allocated RAM encourages its customers to pay attention to what they want and helps focus them on the joint efforts of resizing.

  The storage is the same, you pay for what you are asking and if you want to pay less, reduce your allocation.

  It's a start, anyway.  might need a little tweaking and a lot of room for improvement, but this will give you a basic chargeback report.

  vFoglight V 6.1

  So our storage has been really slow lately by some of our virtual machine crawl. Whenever I talk to our team of storage, that they speak for EMC and the answer is BUY new more fast/drives or take VM off the LUNS are getting slammed. Well that's fine, but now I have a few LUNS with more space free 300Gig because they can not will not try and work with me to find a solution.
  I need to create a report and monitor my LUN so that they show that last year the "slowness" was getting worse. Just storage model reports show stats 'space' unless I'm not totally see models of storage performance.
  Y at - there someone here who can lead me in the right direction to create reports of storage/performance problems? Is there some sort of pre canned reports, I do not see or a 'cartridge', I'm missing here?

  The reason why you get n/a, it is that the data do not exist. Queue length data are only available once we deployed agents OS like VMware does not provide this in a meaningful way (I am happy check if you can show me otherwise) monitoring. Disk latency information should however be available but only for the host ESX 4 and vCenter 2.5 U4 and later as this was the point where she became exposed.

  Dave, your question is quite broad, but may help the following:

  MySQL has functions of aggregation such as COUNT and SUM. It would probably be useful for you in your solution. I always try to do as well in the database as possible rather than dumping a lot of data in the php script to process. Also look at the MySQL GROUP BY WITH ROLLUP as a way to return altogether.

  I just took the bold gamble in Indesign and it's the first day of my 30 day trial.

  I have been successfully creating Brochures A5 (A4 folded) using MS Word and print it on a desktop printer. MS Word sorted my order page for me when printing to the correct pages have been implemented.

  I read as much information that I could find, but I'm still able to do the same in Indesign.

  I'm looking forward to you use the advanced functions of layout and have control over what I do, but I need to work on this fundamental step before going any further.

  So presumably you create a new document, the portrait of the A5, facing pages. Make sure that your number of pages in the document is a multiple of 4.

  Create, type, twist, meditate, edit, smile, save.

  To create your booklet using InDesign, on the file menu, select print booklet.

  You will probably need to jump back from the button print settings, adjusting the size paper, Orientation, color, and in the print tab booklet for 2-high shot on horseback.

  A large part has been posted on this topic, these are the basics, printing booklet is not the best module ever written Adobe, IMO
