  Help, please. I bought a pavillian a1520y a couple of years with HP added. Recently, I have the disk formatted and installed XP Pro. I got everything to work except Bus SM shows yellow exclaimation mark controller in Device Manager.

  I googled a lot and I tried all the suggestions there. Nothing has solved the problem.

  Please suggest where I can download the appropriate driver.

  Just installed the operating system Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

  No error message, but not touch either ability.

  A change made to the system: my computer did a fall from a table on the hard ground. The hard drive has been damaged. It worked just well enough to get into the safe mode and copy off all my files. (Thank God!) But I had to buy a new hard drive for it. So I start from scratch. I was not able to locate the touch screen driver that would allow me to interact with my screen.

  Here are the specifications of your HP tm2-2052nr laptop. According to the specifications, it comes from the factory with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. You must have created a set of HP recovery disks when you set up your computer. These discs would restore the system to a factory like State in a situation like this.

  Drivers for your system are located HERE , but I have not found a 32-bit driver for the touch screen. If you wish to order discs of HP recovery, call or email HP customer care to order.

  Have you installed the operating system from the Windows CD or the Toshiba Recovery CD?
  It looks like the installation of Win's CD.

  In this case, you must download all the drivers from Toshiba on the Toshiba site and install it in the right order!

  Bought a G4 Pavilion - 1164CA and upgraded the HD with SSD

  and did a new install of Windows 7 x 64 Premium.

  The model has a processor AMD A6 - 3400M.

  Device Manager shows that a driver is missing for SM Bus controller.

  Download and uncompress the file in its folder.

  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus who need the pilot.

  Click the driver tab.

  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

  Restart the PC.

  I had to downgrade laptop computer CQ58 a 64 Windows 8 for Windows 7 64 client on their request. The process went very well and I managed to find all the drivers required - except one, the SM Bus controller driver, which I will have supply problems. I think that this is part of the AMD Catalyst package and I downloaded and installed the recommended package of AMD of automatic detection and this has not solved the problem. I also tried a slightly earlier version of these drivers, and it also left me with the same problem. Has anyone else faced the question and it is resolved successfully?
