  I had trouble to come with the script for calculating appropriate for this question and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me.

  Basically what I'm doing, it's down a product Option Drop (let's call it "RS1") to dynamically fill a separate price/text ("Price RS") field based on the selected product in the drop down menu.

  Product in the menu options drop-down are 'single' and "Double".

  If I select the option of simple product, he would fill in the price with a price $345,00 field. If I had to choose the Double product option, it would enter the price with a price $565.00.

• How to remove the names of the characters in the drop down menu

  I wrote off the coast of dialogue from the screen. Normally, I'd write FRED (O.S.), but when I did this, history treats as a new character - points in the general plan.  To try to remedy this, I have now four different instances of the character FRED that appear in the drop-down list of character. How can I do those I want to go?  How to indicate that a character is off the screen without creating a new character?

  There are two ways to get rid of the extra entry-

  (1) use the lists of characters as then the drop-down list is populated in the list only. (Lists are available for paying customers only).

  (2) make sure that all occurrences of this additional entry in your script are removed, then save and reopen your document. Entries which are not used in your script are deleted in the drop down menu.

  Please try it and let me know if it works for you. Send in the stdoc (file-> save to disk) of your document to DL-AdobeStory-supportadobecom so that I can have a look.

  Note that when you to bookmark a page by clicking on the star, then the new bookmarks is created in the unsorted folder.
  The unsorted folder does not show in the drop-down list.
  You can click on the underlined blue stars another moment to change the bookmark and move it to another folder.

  You have a "Community Toolbar" extension installed? Which has been reported by other users of Mac as affecting the new tab feature in Firefox 30.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  When you create your fall down, after putting in your list of items, select the link tab in your object palette. Check "specify the item values. For each item, change its numerical value (e.g. text: "Lifepak CR Plus Charge Pak (a set of electrodes and a battery)' value would be 80).

  In the case of calculation of your UnitPrice field select the FormCalc language and insert the script:

  Sum (Discription0, Description1)

  Add some drop downs you must be included in the total.

  Tip: Name all your drop-down menus, the same thing and all that you have to ask, because the script is: sum (Description) [*]

• Need help to fill in a text box in a drop-down list.

  I think I have most of the code and correct settings, but I need help.

  I have a drop down list that is populated with 3 States. When a certain State is selected in the drop-down list, I need a text box to fill with tax information for each State. I list them set up variables that define the drop-down list data and the data that I want to appear in the text box. I also code basic javascript in place - but it is not perfect.

  The problems I'm having with the dynamic .pdf file include:

  1. where a State is selected in the drop-down list, the user must first click the text box so that the appropriate text appears in the box.

  2. when a State is selected in the drop-down list and the user clicks on the text box to display the text of tax info, tax info text does not change as it should if a user selects a different State in the drop-down list.

  3. the tax information in the text box will appear for 2 States (what is because the variable list that I put in place for these States has too many characters of text? Is there a way to bypass this limitation?)

  Can someone help me change the javascript code and settings that I use to make the text field to fill in correctly? It is the first project of livecycle that I tried and my first experience with javascript.

• How to change a text field value based on a drop down menu?

  Hello experts.

  I have a simple form with a very long drop-down list, and two text boxes.  I use a table to fill textbox1 based on the value selected in the drop-down list, and it works as expected.  Some of the values in the drop-down list, but not all, should cause textbox2 become unalterable.

  Does anyone have an example script for this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I use LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 on Windows Vista 32 bit.

  You can do the TextField2 as readonly using the Script based on the value in the drop-down list.

  If (dropdoqn1.rawValue == "") {}

  TextField2.access = "readOnly";

  }
