Need help to view files in the LR catalog scattered on multiple disks

So I'm really grok how to work with LR CC during migration/consolidation of files on a new larger hard drive. The situation is the following:

I have a main catalog on my Macbook Pro. I have actual files themselves in records dated on several hard drives, in large part due to errors of import on my part. All disks are mounted very well on my Macbook Pro in El Capitan 10.11.3.

I am trying to move a folder of images in LR to a 3 TB drive in the main folder of JM LIGHTROOM FILES on my new drive 6 to where everything should live going forward.

But when I drag a folder of files in LR, a drive to the new desired House disc, I get this alert:

"Could not complete the move to folder. The folder named "2012-03-25" not could be created. "No indication as to why this folder can not be created.

I did just now a consistency check on the target, drive 6 TB Drive Genius 4 and also repair the drive with disk utility. The permissions are set so that anyone can read and write, so I don't think it is a permissions issue, and all of the files to copy are be DNG or. CR2, Canon RAW files.

I then control click the file in LR, I'm trying to move and chose "Update folder location." Now the folder bounces and do not move or give me the previous alert.

In a similar situation when I drag another folder of files in LR in the new House on 6 to drive, he complains that there is already a folder with that name. In the Finder, I see it's true, but the folder does not appear in the LR folder hierarchy, how to show in the catalogue?

I have other questions, but let's keep it simple for now.

Thank you, everyone, for advice.

In my opinion, the best way to move photos is by using your operating system with these excellent and very detailed instructions: Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing

You cannot create the folder wanted is because you don't have WRITE permission to create the folder. Therefore, change the permissions on this folder of player/parent.
