  I guess I am a bit technologically challenged, but I'm real keen on creating a model in the Pages I can take electronically "Cornell Notes". Of course, there's a dandy video Youtube showing how to do such a thing in Microsoft Word, but I'm not having any luck translating these steps in Pages. The video depicts the creation of a table and using the "merge" option to create large cells. It seemed that it couldn't be easier. I've attached a screenshot of a basic model of Cornell Notes in Word.

  What happens when you export this Word template, and then open it in Pages? If the formatting is retained, why not save it as a model of Pages?

  You should definetely create a set of recovery media - this is your copy of the operating system.  An example of when you might need, it would be if you had to replace the hard drive - details on the creation of this can be found on the next document in HP.

  About McAfee, you must uninstall that first before trying to install Norton - you can do this in the usual way by opening the Control Panel, open programs and features, right click at the entrance of McAfee and select uninstall.  When the process is complete, restart the computer before installing Norton.

  A publication that I'm working on is set up as a double-page double. When I export as an interactive PDF with layout 'single page' selected, the PDF file always sees as a spread. How can I do consider a single page?

  (I use ID 5.5)

  If I remember correctly, only InDesign CS6 can export interactive PDF files with unique pages. Earlier versions (CS5 and CS5.5) still exports an InDesign spread over a single PDF page... then if you view a page at a time in the drive, you see in fact any spread.

  You can change this in two ways:

  (1) turn on/off facing pages of your document settings and export while you have only a single page / spread (you may experience problems with your tough useful)

  (2) change export method with small script:

  The unique layout option you mentioned is for Adobe Reader or Acrobat. It s used to set the display mode (1 page at the time, two pages at once etc.). It has nothing to do with the export itself...

Something very similar to YouTube or MySpace.   You can easily create a user profile page by creating a filtered recordset that filter user_id parameter to URL example.com/page.php?id=bob will display the profile of bob and example.com/page.php?id=sue'll see Sue profile. If you want to example.com/users/bob you must use dynamic rewritten mod

  You never mentioned this scripting language you use and helps with questions of app development. I assume that you are using php but the next time you post please mention this script, you use to avoid speculation.

  Above all, talking to anyone will be print and make the cut to shape. They will tell you the page sizes, you need, which all depends on their shape cutting.   You can create a page for the site having options to access the mobile site or office.

  Then create links to the homepages of the desktop version and mobile on this page. You can create links through the hyperlink section.

  Also, you should uncheck "Redirect Office" on the file--> Site properties for the layout of the phone so that if the site is open on the mobile device, it shows only the first page office and not available phone directly.
