  I met this BSOD error several times, and the following fix usually (not always) allows the hard disk to be read by the system...

  -Boot your system and access the BIOS Setup
  -It will vary with different systems, but try to press "F2", "F10" or "delete".
  -If you need help with this step, let me know the model of the system, and I'll see what I can come up with
  -In the configuration of the BIOS, looking something like "Device Boot Configuration"
  -Go to the hard disk configuration and change the current option
  -Here are the most common options that I can think of:
  -SATA IDE, AHCI, (newer systems have more options, such as IRRT)
  -If the current option is "SATA", change it to "AHCI" or "IDE".
  -If the current option is 'DCIS', change it to "IDE", etc...

  It's just a quick run through a possible fix, without knowing the details of your system!  If you need more detailed help, I would like to know the details of the system, and we'll see what we can do!

• Loading file to the Virtual Machine by using an external USB drive... Please help

  We have an environment that we would like to import and create a virtual machine. The files are on the external 1 TB external hard drive USB puppy with NTFS. The files are approximately 430 GB. I tried almost all the options to get the files to the HOST that is running the server ESXI 4.0.

  Whenever we tried to get the files using the USB drive and Vsphere client connected to a local computer running windows on the ESXI 4.0 Server somehow transfer stops after a while. Some time around after ro possibly around 250 GB 200 GB. So far, we are not able to get the hard master file that occupies about 430 GB in the ESXI data store.  We also tried the third "Fastscp" software to transfer files to the ESXI host, but we had the same problem that the transfer stops at some point.

  Another option that we tired was to start a machine with Linux live CD and USB directly attached to this machine. As the Linux version was newer USB NTFS partition hard drive has been detected without installing any NTFS disks. We have mounted the drive USB on this machine and exported the mount point. In the ESXI server using CLI not supported (Alt - F1) we were able to ride the point of editing exported and tried to copy the files to the folder main datastore but same problem the transfer stops after a few hours sometimes even near 300 GB.

  Y at - it somehow I can bypass the file transfer by using not not the network, which means that if we reach directly the USB key to the ESXI server machine does not recognize it (using Alt - F1 not CLI) because it is partitioned into NTFS. I read that ESXI only supports FAT partition.

  We also tried to start the machine running ESXI server with the latest versions of Linux, in this case, we were able to mount the USB drive directly, but because ESXI stores files with VMFS partition we couldn't mount this partition in linux.

  Could you please recommend any solution to get the files the server ESXI 4.0?  Is there a way to allow us to start the EXSI with Linux server and can mount the partition VMFS use third-party drivers? OR what you would do. Advice would be nice.

  Welcome to the forums - using the vSphere client should work - block of what size did you use to create your VMFS data store? If you left it at the default of 1 MB, then the bigger file, you can copy that VMFS datastore is 256 GB - you'll need to create the data store with a block size of 2 MB which will allow you to create a file upto 4 MB or 512 GB keast and a size of 1024 GB.

  Usually after using the Toshiba Recovery CD everything should works and works correctly
  To my knowledge from time to time Toshiba has released new version of some tools or drivers. For example the BT stack will be developed all the time.
  But I think that if you have any problems with your system and peripherals, then you don't need t to update anything.

• Moving files in the folder of Documents using the Finder

  I have a lot of individual files in the Documents folder in OS X El Capitan. I made files in the Documents folder, I would like to move these files. Now, looking at the Documents folder in the Finder, it shows all the files in the Documents folder, sorted by type, whether or not I've moved into my new files.

  I don't want this 'virtual' representation - I want the files to be moved, and I see them again, unless I click on the new folder, so I can sort them.

  Looks like you set an Arrangement on the folder when you may have been trying to sort out the window.

  Arrange by groups the files and folders on the criteria you choose, as type. It will put them all within a section of the window depending on the type of item it is.

  Look at the View Menu, arrange by and set it to None. If it's not, try to post a screenshot of what you see.

  I lost all the images contained in the "my pictures" file on the hard drive.  The files are there but when I open the files they are all empty. It's like some 50 folders and each folder contained about 25 or so images jpg. I lost the using the "windows live photo gallery» I found a thread that someone else has had this problem and only one answer was to check the checkbox 'Show hidden files'. I have done this no luck there. When I open "windows live photo gallery" all records are on the left of the window but empty. I did not send any of these files to the "trash".  Can someone tell me how to recover these?

  You ran the scanner of MS too? It will take some time, but it must be done. If a virus is responsible for it must be nuked before he can ravage any more.

  Send all the pictures? You can still recover these - and get some help course in order to avoid this sort of thing. External hard drives and online storage are worth a small spending to protect valuable files. I also keep the dvd - outdated image files but enough fix if even they can deteriorate over time (but don't we all!)

  Let us know if the scan MS lands anything - run the full scan - it will take time.

• Need to unlock files on the old hard drive to be used as secondary drive

  My mother had crashed on my computer.  I wanted to be able to access my hard drive of this computer, so I bought attached to it that allows me to connect it to another computer via the USB port.

  My problem is that I can't access all files & programs on the hard drive.  I had a pass to logon Windows on my old computer.  I know the password, but have no idea how unlock it now.

  Because I can no longer use this hard drive as my C drive, I can't get Windows at startup, & cannot get the login screen or find the Control Panel on this drive.

  Any ideas?  I got most, if not all, my files sauvegardeesent, but there is something else that I need to access, as my old emails in Outlook Express.

• Download the file to the server / others cannot see

  Hello!

  When I publish my captivate (for a network space) project and upload them to the server, I am able to view the file .html very well.  However, if we try to see on another computer, what we see is a screen empty.  Who has access to the folder network also cannot see.  It is only visible on my computer!  Any ideas?

  For the record, I work with Captivate 5 on a Windows 7 computer.  We all use the same operating system and the browser.

  You have an animation of text in your project? If so, can you please remove the text animation and re - publish your project and check if it is accessible from the network location. If it works, follow these steps:

  1. install the patch CP5 from here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/881/cpsid_88142.html

  2 restart the Captivate, open your project, including text animation

  3 to republish your project and check if it works from the network location.

• Unable to video file to the SD card by using the data source and SourceStream stream

  Even the files read in the native multimedia player on the Simulator fine. One is a .mp4, the other is a .3gp.

  I use content types "video/mp4" and "video/3gpp".

  I have the SourceStream returns-1 for the two getTransferSize() and getContentLength() to indicate the size is unknown. My hypothesis is that it should always work. They must be non-negative and non-zero in order to work properly?

  I use the 4.6.0.190 simulator. We observed the same behavior on the device (4.6.0.266).

  Thanks for the comments. It turned out to be the function seek() requiring a good implementation. The getContentLength() on the return of-1, but for the office seek() I ended up closing the input stream, works by opening and then calling Another to get to the desired position.

  I have created this ExtendedDynamicFldTbl to the model layer project, placed the fild_tbl.txt in a separate package and pass the path relative to the DynamicFldTbl constructor.

  I just added the output of the build of the layer model to view the project of the layer and tested. It works fine and I am able to get the ExtendedFldTbl instance with all loaded fields. But rather than add dependencies, if I create an adfLibJar for the layer model project and you add to view the project of the layer, it does not work.   Hello

  Try /adf/ or /afr/ in the URL. Then includes the ADF resource loader which is used to get the contents of a lib of the ADF. Take a look at the structure of ADF library where the file is located in. It should be in a directory with /adf in the folder structure

  I'm looking to create a form with a button 'submit' at the bottom.  When you click the button submit, I would e-mail window to open with a predefined recipient, and the pdf file attached.  I found the code to achieve this using this.mailDoc)

  However:

  I hope also to get the text field 'Name' of my screen and use it in the body of the e-mail message.

  You don't need launchURL to achieve this goal. mailDoc is capable of setting of the

  subject line, body of the email, the lists of beneficiaries, etc.

• Must provide F4V file for the client, but I use AE CC 2015 so it is no longer possible.

  I provide an F4V file for a client. Is a file format, not that I like in all before - it must be used with Flash files apparently.

  This file format is not available for export with AE CC 2015 - not from CC or CS6 I think.

  So I downloaded these versions of the Cloud. However they do not open because my OS is too recent. 10.10.5 Yosemite

  I learned that I can use an older version of Media Encoder - version 7 for this export file format, but all I can download Adobe are updated. Which of course will not work.

  So I'm stuck.

  Suggestions?

  Have you tried to rename an aa h.264.mp4 f4v? 99% of the time to meet with the same file.
