need to reduce the main screen on the right side. The narrow page button is out of the page.
Each screen extends about 1/4 - 1 / 2 inches off to the right and cannot be seen. I am unable to use vertical scrolling even thought the good box is checked. The red box with the X is also off the screen. Run the slider to the extreme limit to close.
Minimize the window by dragging the left edge inward, then move it so you can see to the right.

Need to reduce the pictures - Export PDF too big
Hello
I am currently working on a portfolio of development on Indesign that has 50 + photos originally on my iPhone.
On the package and looking at the PDF, the file is too large which I suppose is all attached images.
Is it possible to decrease automatically the size of the image file in Indesign or should I resize them in Photoshop, and then place them in the Indesign document?
See you soon.
Export your files Indesign in Adobe PDF (Interactive) and in the Interactive dialog box, select general > Pages > check the Pages radio button and select "Compress", now in the defined Image Compression JPEG quality: "Max, high, medium, low, Minimum."
It will help you reduce the size of the pdf file.
Thank you

Need to reduce the spacing between the text and notes
I'm a style guide (self-taught librarian InDesign beginner!) editing and need to lesson the space between the end of the line of text and the note (if I can get everything on a single page.) I use a textbox with the comparator service. I know that one of the Options reference should do, but when I change the options of first reference offset it messes up the leader of the references as well (which should appear only spaced.) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Try to check the option «Place end of history notes...» "under investment Options and adjust 'Minimum space before first note' under Spacing Options.

Need to reduce the size of the PDF file BUT leave the image alone
Hello
I noticed that PDF files that are edited a lot tend to accumulate bad objects. I would like to clean my files, but the last time I tried the command "reduce the size of the file. I noticed that in addition to removing the invalid objects (good idea), the image has been compressed (bad idea). It is the resolution of my images is very important, and I don't mind paying the price of having a larger file.
Y at - it sort of selectively decide what gets 'cleaned' and what is left alone?
TIA,

White space on the right side of two pages (phone version)
Hello
I'm having a problem with white space unwanted on the right side of only two of my pages (phone version only). The first page has a wider gap:
www.nycrom.com/Phone/testimonials.html
On the second page, the gap is not as wide:
www.nycrom.com/Phone/index.html
I tried just about everything I could think of. I checked for everything outside the margin, but there is not. Any ideas/suggestions? Your help is appreciated.
Thank you.
I found the solution for me: a few items on the page are automatically extended to any width that causes white space on the sides.

You have already answered this in forum Windows 7 here, http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7desktop/thread/f464c81d-26a2-49be-aa58-9ab335e64f0c
but when I press Enter, it returns the window moved to its ' original location - so the problem still exists.
Also... When you press Alt - Space Bar, the control box is impossible to read the large font size does not fit in the size of the box. I pressed Alt - M in any case, that gave me the cross and allowed me to move the window, but like I said "enter" returns just the prior position window. Need more help. Thank you.
Hello
Method 1.
After pressing Alt + space + M you must hold the left key of the mouse and then place the window in place. Check if this is useful.Method 2.
Try changing the size of police as a result of the article below and check if that helps.

I need to reduce the resolution of a photo
I have a picture that is appx 5 MB in size - is intended to insert in a report of the file size should be reduced to the size (.3 MB or 720 X 480) VGA is possible in Lightroom? If so, how?
When you export the picture, check the box "Resize to fit" in the drop-down list, select the longest side and set the size to 720 pixels.
Furthermore, 720 x 480 is not 0.3 MB (approx.); It is (approximately) of 0.3 megapixels and a variable number of megabytes.

Photos: Simple way to reduce the size of the image
I often need to reduce the size of the screenshots. You are looking for an extension or an app that would allow me to do. It's a simple task, but I was not able to find a way to solve this problem without export, then import the image. There are many applications that allow cropping images, but the apps/extensions similarly dedicated screenshot cannot reduce the size.
The feature I need is essentially the only preview on Mac offers under the menu set the size either in percentage or by the change of specific pixel size. An extension that can reduce, and then save the image under a copy within the Photos app would be preferable. An application that can access an image in Photos, reduce the size, and then save it in Photos would be as good.
Any suggestions?
I use Snagit
It runs in the background is available as a widget to take snapshots and add all kinds of cool effects

You are looking for an extension in order to reduce the size of the image
I often need to reduce the size of the screenshots. Looking for an extension that would allow me to do this in Photos, without the need to export, and then import them back. It's a simple task, but I could not find a way to solve this problem. There are many applications with extensions that allow cropping images, but the apps/extensions similarly dedicated screenshot cannot reduce the size.
The feature I need, it's essentially the only preview offers under the menu set the size as a percentage or in pixels change. Special bonus for an app/extension that would work also on the pictures for iOS.
This is not possible - you can never make any change to the contents of the library - the only way to reduce the size of the image is by exporting using different size options in the window export
You can use a preview an external editor with external publishers for extension of pictures - I have no idea of what would be the results with that

MS Movie Maker has the particularity to reduce the size of the mpg clips

I have XP. If I need to reduce the size of clips in mpg for electronic mail, Movie Maker is the way to go, or is there a better way?
=============================================
Movie Maker has problems of compatibility with MPG files.
The files must be converted to the. WMV
format before importing. The problem is... when Movie Maker compresses a
video file for email... the video resolution (quality)
may suffer severely.I suggest an alternative to conversion and
compression would be to download the. MPG as it should
a site like SendSpace. Then send the download link
to your recipients and they can copy the file to their
Office and visualize it in the best quality."SendSpace.
http://www.sendspace.com/It's very simple on SendSpace site the following...
the steps are all you need to do.On the left, click on the Browse button and it will open a window
allows you to access the files on your hard drive.Navigate to the folder your videos are in, and select one.
On the left, click on the download button.
Wait for the file to download...
When the download link appears... left click copy
button. (this will copy the link in your Windows Clipboard)Paste the link in an e-mail message to your recipients.
When the recipient goes on the site.
There are several download buttons but ignore them
and scroll down slightly and left click the "blue": text> "Click here to start the download from sendspace.
Save the file to the desktop.
Double left click the video file to view in Windows Media Player.

How to reduce the size of a PDF file without loss of sharp graphics
Hi, I work in Acrobat X Pro. I have combined a graphics file and need to reduce the size. Original graphics were created in PScs6 and recorded in the form of .jpg. What would be the best way to reduce the size of the PDF file and while now the clarity of graphics? Advice would be appreciated.
When you deal with graphics, you're talking almost always reduce the resolution or color depth. Much depends on the graphics themselves. You might check one of the graphs and see what are the colors and resolution. The setting of 300 dpi is fine in most cases, unless you are wanting people to zoom. For many applications, a color depth of 256 is good rather than millions of colors. If these are acceptable options, remember that your graphics card is defined in this way. You can try the option optimize to see if you can improve the size and still have sufficient resolution (file > save as > optimize PDF).
