Error: "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 Professional.
How can I get rid of the message "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 Professional". Apparently, the system does not find a valid source for this. To my knowledge, I have not downloaded this software even though I must admit that it does not appear in my list of software. I tried to remove the screws of the Panel control, but to no avail.
Thank you for your response. I have now solved the problem by deleting the installation, using the cleanup utility.
However, I appreciate you trying to help me.

Try to remove Microsoft Office 2000 Premium to computer
Windows Installer starts and ask the "Microsoft Office 2000 Premium" disc to continue. I have not, as I do not know how this program came on the computer. Cancel the installation and it will recycle in order to continue to try to find and install Microsoft Office 2000. I try to run "Add or Remove Programs" and it gives an error message. I can't delete or fix this program.
It gives an error message like "Code Error 1706".
And if I keep digging and try to find things it says the file 'Data.MSI' could not be found.
Download this file anywhere to get this program on the computer?

trying to update microsoft office 2010, but get an error 80070652? who says another program is still installing. IAM running windows vista. Even when I try to install a game its says another program is still being set up.
In addition, if the above does not help, there may be a registry key interfere with the installation of the update. Take a look at the information in the article on http://www.installsite.org/pages/en/msifaq/error/1618.htm.

Microsoft Office 2000 is compatible with Windows 7
I have Microsoft Office 2000 may not work with Windows 7
Hello Liddiepud,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
Outlook 2000 is not supported on Windows 7. There may be workarounds, but this isn't a support software. You can use Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007 to compatible systems.
You might find some information on the following Web site:

Microsoft Office 2000 (small business edition) is compatible with Windows 7?
Windows 7 compatibility question
Microsoft Office 2000 (small business edition) is compatible with Windows 7? It is not on the compatibility list.
Thank you.
There are some reported problems running this version of Microsoft Office on Windows 7. Its also not certified for Windows 7, I suggest you move to a more recent version that works with Windows 7 as Office 2003 or later. Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com http://www.activewin.com

Windows error message: fatal error during Microsoft Office 2000 Setup
Virus protection removed a Trojan horse. Therefore, Office 2000 is damaged. From Control Panel - Add/Remove program, I tried to fix it using the Office 2000 disc but it hangs as it tries to set up. He ends up giving error - installation failed due to a fatal error. Operating system is Windows XP
Office 2000 programs are working except cannot enter into Excel.
Just fixed it. I took the survey and decided to google the error message #1305. Follow-up of the steps for error reading file to Microsoft Support http://support.microsoft.com/kb/248263
Disk Cleanup and player. It is loaded after the cleaning. The cost of repair shop would have been almost the cost of the ultimate office for my new system.

Delete "Check for Updates" Microsoft Office 2010 - GPO
I'm working on the packaging of various components of Microsoft Office 2010, such as the shared components, the Office Software Protection Platform Service, Visio (all flavors) and project (Standard and Pro). I wanted to delete "Check for Updates" in the Help menu. I installed the Office administrative templates on my machine to capture, added models to gpedit.msc and open administration-> Microsoft Office 2010 templates-> disable UI elements-> "disable the commands on the file tab | Help» I ran a prescan, then I activated the strategy, checked the box to remove the "Check for Updates" and click OK.
I open Visio and checked that the 'Check for Updates' button is greyed out. I closed my Visio and performed a scan of post and saved the project. I looked in all the files in the registry text. I pulled the text below in the file HKEY_CURRENT_USER.txt, added to the lower part of the same file in my project of exisitng Visio, run build.bat, cleared out the old sandbox, launched Visio, and the button is grayed.
My question: this application will encounter problems with Group Policy objects, or the complete isolation on these entries mode settings will be sufficient to keep the setting?
Here is the text of registry I captured and added (also included in the attached text file):

I can't install the Access Runtime SP2 update. I tried to put the Office CD in the DVD player while installing the update without success. I have also had no success when I tried to manually install the update.
Please notify.
