New driver GeForce NVIDIA affecting LR?

I just installed the latest NVIDIA (v 372.54) driver for my graphics card (GeForce GT PCIe/630/SSE2 OpenGL). Perhaps by coincidence, I noticed that my LR (CC 2015.6.1) display flashing intermittently blocks of pixels on my image that I move the cursor.

  1. Does anyone else have this problem?
  2. As a troubleshooting technique, anyone know how to get back to the previous driver to see if that solves the problem?

Frank.

Well, I figured how to make back the NVIDIA driver. I am now at v 368.22 and described problem has disappeared. I guess I'll leave it here for a while.

  • Need new driver NVIDIA for my Satellite Pro 2100

    Hello

Anyone know if there is a newer version of the NVIDIA graphics driver that comes with the satellite pro 2100? I looked on the Toshiba downloads section and on the NVIDIA site, I have not had any look to find everything. They simply stopped updating this driver?

Any help will be thank you very much and I do a search before posting, but haven't found anything.

    Thank you

    Hello Steve

Satellite Pro 2100 is fairly old unit. It is about 6 years old. Graphics card is NVidia GeForce4 420Go with 16 MB of memory only. Now the question: do you really want that Toshiba should support unit of 6 years with the latest NVIDIA driver? Please don't be crazy on me, but I really don't understand what you expect.

A more interesting question to me is: for what purpose you need new driver? You want to use with newer games, or maybe you some graphic problems watching movies DSVD?

I have Toshiba Satellite M30. Recently, I installed the new nVidia 9.1.3.1 driver (summer 2006) and after that, I started to encounter problems with wakes my notebook of booth mode and a problem with the power of the monitor.

If computer sleeps or its monitor is turned off and I try to make it work again it hangs with a black screen (although I can see slightly backlight) and doesn't react to anything except the hard reset. What should I do? Going back to the old nVidia Driver?

Windows XP Pro SP2 + all updates update MS. nVidia FX Go5200 video card

    Hello

If you use the drivers directly from nVidia it can cause problems, because they are not designed for laptops. The downloadable driver of Toshiba for this model is the 46,44 version. If you want a newer driver, you can watch the new laptops with nVidia card. Or you can search the Internet, maybe you'll find a driver updated for notebooks somewhere.

    Hey,.

    > but without success.
Does that mean exactly? You get an error during installation or what exactly is going on?

    > Only safe mode is available after the installation of this driver
Why only safe mode is available? What happens if you start Windows in normal mode?

And before you start a lengthy discussion: what laptop do you have?

You may notice no problem if you install Windows recovery disk Toshiba?

  • Re: Satellite X 200-251 (PSPB9E) - a newer driver available?

Is there a newer video driver recommended for the X 200-251 (PSPB9E) using the GeForce 8700 M GT graphics chip? One posted on Toshiba support pages is old way now, version 179,48, February 2009.

I need a newer driver that a few apps that I need the latest version of CUDA to run correctly. One of my office machines running version 197,75 since May 2010, who does what it takes. Did someone tried this driver? Is there a new Toshiba recommended driver as that is more than a year (179,48)?

    Hello

The most recent driver is always placed on the Toshiba driver download page. This means that if you have already installed these drivers, your notebook computer is up to date and there are no updates available at this time.

Theoretically, you can install the latest driver from nVidia directly but this driver is not pretested and it s on your own risk!

  • New driver for Qosmio G20 with Vista installed

    Hello

There are new drivers for Qosmio G20 with Vista installed.

Right now, it's Nvidia Video 169,25 version of the driver for Windows Vista.
No blue screen after installing this driver, at all.
I think that this new driver will solve the following problem:

    * Power failure screen after you have closed the lid on Vista *.

You can try it, remembering that the installation must be handwritten. And you must choose the graphics card Nvidia Geforce 6600, during installation.
    Download here:

  • New drivers for nvidia 9600M GT series.

I'm guessing that the video card that came with my laptop is not totally "real" because I can not update my graphics card by using the nvidas site or their drivers, the only way is to do it through this site, much more recent than this site is out, but the game I bought (gta 4) needs new drivers from nvidia to play I have a x 64 unit and I downloaded the software, it is in beta, but still needs to work on my card, but it doesn't. HP will update their drivers for our "special cards?" Thanks in advance.

for info: pilots Gta nvidia page(opens in a new window)

    Data sheet:

Windows Vista premium home x 64 edition

4.00 GB of ram, the 9600 M GT video card.

It has more specific information to GTA IV on the homepage of Laptopvideo2go, but right now that they have 180.7 series pre-modded for mobile chipsets, not 180,84 you linked there.

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/

Or you can use the driverheaven nvmodtool to make the driver you linked (180.84), or another modern semi driver work.

    http://www.DriverHeaven.NET/nvmodtool.php

Or since I'm interested in what is supposed to be the characteristic 180.84 enough that they're suggesting the use of a beta driver, I advanced and downloaded and modded it me so if you want just the modded INF file necessary (cancel the driver installation after it extracted the files in a folder, then copy the new INF file in this folder crush the old INF file before you run Setup.exe).

180.84 mobile modifed INF file nvmodtool:

  • Update Windows wants to install an older driver from Nvidia

My Dell has a driver Nvidia as of 20/11/09 (date of the driver, not the installation of the driver - Driver Version 8.17.11.9562), and Windows Update keeps insisting that I should install an "option" upgrade for a driver from Nvidia which is older, as of September 2007, published 12/12/08.  How is that possible?  How can I let Microsoft know that there must be something wrong with their recommendation of update?

    Hello

Unfortunately updates Windows is often older drivers certified. So the best method is to stop
the automatic update of the drivers while leaving the other updates in automatic mode. Then since updated
drivers can be very important in a mature OS response that must be updated manually. New
computers are provided with pilots of early stage so they really need to be updated quite often especially
When there are major changes in the pilot platform, which is valid for both Vista and Windows 7.

Part of the problem is from the platform changed pilot and there's a maturation process Microsoft
is too overwhelmed with updates from the pilot to the certification process. Thus, at the time where a driver
certification passes a manufacturer probably has published several major updates to this one. Here now
in 32 and 64 bit platforms just adds to the load of the certification.

  • PRECISION M90 WINDOWS 8 DRIVER on Nvidia quadro FX 1500

    Good afternoon

I've updated my Precision M90 from Vista to Windows 7 and after Service Pack 1 of Mircosoft problem to drive all has been resolved.

Now, considering that on the DELL support site are not information on the compatibility between M90 and Windows 8 I believe in Microsoft Assistant who would confirm that the Nvidia quadro FX 1500 video card will be compatible.

I installed Windows 8 and I have problem with video card: If stay with Windows driver I can not work because it is a generic driver and the video Resolution I not good.

If I install the Windows 7 driver on Nvidia good office work support site but then when I go to menu "M", also well know Metro, the S.O. go out of mind and the new cyano BSoD appear on the screen.

I have askd technical support Microsoft forum and they suggest me in the bad way that DELL must help me.

So please can someone led can inform me if it is possible to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

I had success with the driver, 185.20

    Good luck

  • Adding a new drive on a Virtual Machine

    Hello

I need to add a new disk to a virtual machine that runs as an Exchange Server.   Normally, when you add the new drive I would choose the store with the Virtiual Machine.  Unfortunetrly the Datasotre stored on the virtual machine is virtually complete.  What are the implications of the selection 'Specify a location' during the creation of the disc.  I'll always be able to use VMotion?  and how the disk get stored on the selected locvation.  He appears as a vmdk file in a folder named after the Virtual Machine?  Anything else I should look for?

    Thanks for any advice.

    Concerning

    Kevan

You mentioned already correctly more points:

    • the vmdk will be stored in a folder with the name of the virtual machine
    • vMotion is not affected until all guests have access to the data store
    • According to the snapshots the ESXi version are either created in the home folder of the virtual machine (before 5 ESXi) or in the folder parent of vmdk
