  I don't understand. It worked fine before. I use dreamweaver cs4. I'm just trying to send new files reviewed on the site. It acts like it sends, but when I go in from the browser the old file is still there.

  This often occurs when the destination folder is set to the testing server. Make sure that it is set on the remote server and all is well.

  Just in case the link above does not help, a convenient way to make sure the destination is remote, click the detail... and make sure that the left hand file displays the remote server.

  I rebuilt a site, make new files rather than change the 'old'. My remote servers and them are synchronized, but I can't get my new files to support the 'old'. What Miss me?

  This most likely means that your site definition is not properly configured. It is not normal to have your duplicate root folder. I guess you have your local root as "whatever you named it" and inside this root, you will have a copy of the root of the 'web' server and then all your files?

  A screenshot of your files window when you are connected to your server and extended (square icon expand button hit both in the toolbar of the window files) would show if this is the case.

  The content of your local root 'whatever you named it"must match the root of the server, probably 'web' in this situation. The file server root should not appear in your local site at all, but should rather be in the FTP settings below your username and password.

• I transferred files from Thunderbird to new computer using easy transfer but old local files not shown.

  I read the answers to the previous questions on this subject and can't seem to get anywhere. I can not find

  like under my username on my C drive I have no folder called "AppData" and "Roaming" contains only a folder "Intel."

  See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile to locate your profile. Then using your file Explorer look in this same directory to see if you have all the other profiles as well. The profiles have a file name of the default shape

  I'm working on a Mac.  I keep the latest on my hard drive images and the older images on a network drive.

  I decided to transfer all my folders and files 2014 my hard drive on my network drive.  The Ride has been: the directory on my network drive is exactly the same as my hard drive and the network drive also serves as my backup location. This means that the files and folders on my hard drive already existed on my network drive.  I just need Lightroom to find there.    Because they are already on the network drive I can't just drag and drop the folder in LR or LR gives me an error (file already exists).

  Then, I saved everything.  Made sure all the photos have been imported to the LR in the folder on the hard drive (called 2014), then, I renamed the folder on my hard drive to "2014_Local".  Voila!  Lightroom does not.  So, I click with the right button on the folder from LR and tell LR, where to find it... on the network drive.

  Uh oh.  Lightroom has created a new "Volume" (my network is 'House', LR has created 'Home-1').  I think that I managed to make it past that by having LR 'merge' records.  Now, the photos are all in LR, but the direcory (2014) does NOT appear in the left panel where my files and folders are listed.  I can see the photos.  I can right-click and ask LR to "Show in Finder" and the source is good.  I can search and find files in LR and they actually indicate the folder 2014 on the network drive, but the file and subdirectories for the version of 2014 on the right network drive do not appear in the LR.  My file list is:... 2012-2013... AnAlphaDirectory...   Where is the folder of 2014 within the structure of directories in LR?

  What happens in the world?

• VIPs file not shown in MacOS Sierra mail

  Since the upgrade to Sierra (Version 10.12), I can't see the normal (with star) VIP folder and mailboxes for each VIP under the level of the macOS Mail Inbox (to Version 10.0 (3226)). Upgrade deletes the folder? I am not sure when the VIP file is missing. Is it possible to recreate it?

  I tried to choose the e-mail mailbox > rebuild after having poking around the VIPs folder in my iCloud email account. A few hours later, the VIPs file now appears in the list of boxes to macOS Mail letters and seems to work fine. I suspect that the reconstruction has contributed, but do not know for sure.

• Windows 8 Pro: email problems, files not shown.

  I installed Windows 8 Pro on my PC and laptop.  I use a yahoo address.  Problem 1: When I enter the Mail App on the start screen and the e-mail page there is a difference between the "applications" available at the bottom of the screen when the right button of the mouse is used.  On the PC only four options, two on the left (Sync & Pin at the beginning) and two on the right (move the brand & unread).  When the same thing is done on the Laptopthere are nine options available, four options on the left (pine Sync, folder, start Options & Select All) as well as five options on the right (Print, flag, Junk, Move & mark as unread).  How do all these options to display on the PC as well?  Problem 2: on the laptop, in the upper left of the Yahoo screen appears on the screen and at the top right, there are three options (new (+), return to sender (answer) & clear).  Next to the sign of Yahoo, overcoming the messages, there are two available options (all & the icon 'search').   On the PC the Yahoo (upper-left) and three options at the top right is available, but there is no option available above messages: I can not select all or search because there is nothing is not displayed.  Messages goes all the way to the top.

  Problem 3: I want to send something that seems impossible to select the entire message.  I can not also transmit images.  How can I select the full message and transfer ALL the content?  This problem is on the PC and the laptop.  Fact: I had no problem with the good old XP and wonder why I spent the money to "upgrade"?  It seems also impossible to talk to any human being when you need help, a very frustrating situation.  Your help will be appreciated.  Kind regards.  Brandie.

  I use Bridge CS5 with camera raw 6.7.1 in combibnation with a canon 6 d and a canon 5 d Mark2. The 5 d raw files can be found in the bridge, the 6 d raw files are not. There is just an icon. The camera raw is the last usable for Windows Update, canon 6 d is listed as compatible. Someone at - there idea has what to do?

  Canon 6 d id NOT taken in charge by ACR 6.7.1. He was supported for the first time in ACR 7.3 requiring CS6 to run.

  

  Therefore, you will never be able to open the 6 d directly CR2 raw files in CS5.

  If you don't plan on upgrading, you can download the Adobe DNG Converter 8.3 free and autonomous (always use the latest version, it is not related to your version of Photoshop in all), install it like any other application, then run it on each batch of CR2 files to convert them into files DNG raw that you can then open in your version of Photoshop and ACR.

  We have integrated OBIEE with EBS. We have a menu called GPM dashboard element that earlier had three tabs recently, we have added a tab. By clicking on the dashboard GPM, we are able to see the fourth tab only three tabs is not displayed. Although the reports for the 4th tab are there. Can someone tell me what might be the raeson why because webcat has 4th tab and its report. Why is OBIEE not shwoing the current dashboard.

  Assuming that your happy with the security put in place on the first 3 pages, and you simply want to view the 4th (it is not appeading currently) I would simply reproduce the security in the first 3 pages on the 4th?

  There is clearly a different group activated on page 4 - is that what you want?

• Windows Homer Server Media Center not showing the new files I downloaded

  So I installed WHS2011 and thought that the library would easily work. It seems that the new files I put on the server are not get updated when I try and view them through the Media Center. Also when I serach for libraries on another device, it shows me two homeservers, one who say no files present and the other who has files (but does not update the index!). What is going on? (the file types are the same as the other files that are appearing fine)

  It is a basic installation, the only change I made is to move the directory to a new hard drive and update the WHS settings to point to the serverfolder updated on the new hard drive.

  I checked the settings on the media section of sharing control panel and it's on, I also checked on the dashboard and the media of Stentor is enabled.

  OK, there are two ways, depending on whether your use perforations or separate document windows.

  Tabs:

  Select all layers

  Move the mouse to the document, and then drag the document to the new tab

  Separate windows:

  Select all layers

  Drag the layer to the new window

  Hold down the SHIFT key if you want them to be co-located on the document.

• Windows Explorer error 0x8007007A: "the data area passed to a system call is too small" and will not accept simple word doc to a new file

  I have seen questions about this error in Re (with no response) Task Manager, but it popped up just for me just trying to move a document to a new file (file) in Windows Explorer.  I'm not a techie.  I use a new Windows 7 laptop, networked with a desktop computer running XP - live files on the XP, so I guess it's an XP issue.  The file tree is quite long. I tried to delete and recreate the folder.  No luck.   New - I got a few word documents in a folder, I created a folder under the original, tried to move word documents & PDF files in the folder and suddenly get this error.  I created thousands of new records - never saw this before.

  The previous times I've seen that error (regarding printer installation issues or Scheduler tasks), if seemed to be linked to a care/firewall Windows. Just to smile, have you tried to disable any software firewall/security (temporarily) and see if that makes a difference.

  BTW, it's a new show (as a few update/install can be causing it) or always happened?

  Method 1: Restore the default settings of the BIOS WARNING: this procedure may involve changing the semiconductor (CMOS) settings of the computer's complementary metal oxide and by changing the BIOS of the computer. Incorrect changes to the BIOS of your computer can result in serious problems. Change the CMOS settings of the computer at your own risk.

  To resolve this issue, restore the BIOS of the computer to its default settings. For more information about the correct settings of the BIOS of the computer and how to check and change these settings, see the computer documentation or contact the manufacturer of the computer.

  In addition, to confirm that the computer's BIOS is current, contact the computer manufacturer to inquire about the last update of the BIOS available for the computer.

  I consider myself an advanced user, but I really can't understand this.

  I have Win7 on a PC, I have a shared folder, call the "SharedFolder". Sharing dossier_partage I set all permissions for everyone.

  Everything looks great when I access dossier_partage from other computers on the network.

  Then, from the PC where dossier_partage is located, I create a new file inside dossier_partage and here is the problem: the new file is not shared. If I share this file put the permissions for all the world (just readonly or r/w or whatever), I can see it on the network.

  So, it's very annoying. How can I tell windows to share all the files I put in this folder?

  Both computers have the same advanced sharing settings:
   
  Turn on network discovery
  Open file and printer sharing
  Turn on public folder sharing
  Streaming media is off
  Use 128-bit encryption
  Turn on password protected sharing
  Homegroup connection is not used, but is set to 'use user accounts and passwords'.

  Try to disable the Antivirus/Firewall...
  just off the "password protected sharing" for the private network.
  turn off the option "password protected sharing" and also the option "public folder sharing" to allow other computers see my public folder by default. You can perform these steps in the home or public network.
