New iPad mini, confused ID. Apple/iCloud. Help!

I recently bought a new mini iPad but got confused while setting up my ID Apple and iCloud ID.

My Apple ID is ok and I can use my tablet, can consult them and change my Apple ID/settings etc, but somewhere during the installation, I foolishly managed to create (and confirm) the wrong username for access to iCloud. Now when I try to use icloud I'm asked to verify my ID of an e-mail that was sent to a mailbox (the user ID I was wrong of entry) that I did in fact and therefore cannot cannot get any further forward.

As I said, the root of my problem was in the creation of the iCloud ID. I put in the user name is an anagram/misspelling of my good, so email used for checking contact get to me.

I talked to an Apple Advisor which seamed to understand my dilemma and promised to send me a link to correct the problem, the only problem is that the link took me to a page that could reset my password for the account that I did not.

Can someone advise the best solution? Please, I beg you.

What do you do with the account / iCloud?

If you want to log on to the account so that you can connect with the correct id then settings > iCloud > Sign Out. Or if you want to change the email address on this account to an e-mail account that you have access to: http://appleid.apple.com (log out of the account via the settings > iCloud > Sign Out before update the account and connect you, and then return with the updated version after).

  • New SIM card new iPad mini 4 offer only AT & T refurb apple

I bought an iPad mini 4 on the Apple refurb store. It came with no SIM card. I went to my local apple retail store, and you have a card SIM Apple (after assisted by about 3 people; they seemed barely even know what I was talking about). I put the card and went data cell in the settings. Under "Choose a date plan" is the only option (already checked) "AT & T - A & T - Postpaid" and under that in the fine print, it says "SIM expired." If I tap on "Add a new plan", the only option for the carrier that appears is AT & T. After reading all about the flexibility of the Apple SIM card, I am very frustrated that it does not work as advertised. I've heard talk about AT & T lock SIM card after you choose, but I never had the chance to make the choice.

    PS. a reboot didn't help.

  • How can I restore my new iPad mini from iCloud backup if they are not compatible with iOS9?

My Mini iPad had an internal problem, so I got a new one on the Apple store.

The problem is I'm trying to save my other from iCloud, and I get a message saying

my back ups that are not compatible with iOS9? What should I do? I don't want to set it up as a new iPad.

I want to save all my info. Help, please!

What iOS has been used to create the backup initially? Is it possible that the backup was performed with iOS 9.x and replacement has only iOS 9.0? Check what iOS is on the replacement iPad. If this is not the last and the original device was later, then you will need to put in place the iPad like new, update of iOS, then go into settings > General > reset > erase all content and settings. Then you can restore the backup to iCloud.

    Hello, Msquared23!

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  I see you are trying to download the app to Pages on your new iPad mini 4.  I use iWork apps on my iPad all the time, so I can see why you would want to get it for yourself!  I'd be happy to help you.

According to this document, it appears that these applications are free on the new iOS devices: get Apple apps for free on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

  • How long Apple will support the iPad mini 1

    Hello fellow Apple lovers,.

for my restaurant-bussiness I need 1 or 2 very basic iPads as cash-register using Lightspeed software. There no need again, at the top of the iPad Bill.

My wholesaler suggested me 2 new iPad mini 1 which is a very affordable option. My question for you and apple is: how much time do you think this model to be supported?

Thanks in advance for your response!

    Pieter Dijkema

Apple are not here, these are user forums, you will not get a response from them.

The first generation iPad Mini supports the latest version of iOS (9.3.1), if it will support the next major release we won't know until Apple announces that it is compatible with (the speculation is not allowed on these forums). As it has only 512 meg RAM (Mini 2 and 3 have 1 gig; Mini 4 a 2 gig) is probably limited to updates of iOS it is likely to support.

    Hey JDMaris,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your new iPad. If your iPad is still unresponsive, and you can't turn it off, you can try a reboot in force on the iPad according to the steps described in the following article:

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201559

If your iPad is still unresponsive after a successful reboot, or if you experience the same problem again, it may be necessary to restore the iPad:

  • How can I stop my overheating iPad mini?

I just had to replace my 1-year-old mini iPad who died suddenly, shortly after the end of the warranty period.  I brought to 3 different places and nobody could make re-live or explain what happened outside because when they have plugged into the power supply, they said he seemed to have exceptionally hot quickly.  I have a new iPad mini and it seems to be getting warm very quickly.  How can I determine if it is a serious problem?  What can I do to avoid overheating?

    You use a charger/adapter Apple block or a third-party block/charge adapter?

  • Are there external speakers for iPad mini to improve the sound?

Are there external speakers for the new iPad mini to improve the sound?

There are hundreds. For most Bluetooth, so they're wireless. Simply do a search, starting with those on the Apple Store.

  • iPad Mini 4 time to recharge

    A little advice please.

I have improved the iPad my daughter for the last model mini (mini iPad 4) for Christmas.

I noticed that the new model seems to take much longer than the previous to recharge. Today, it took 6 hours to make it a full load where, previously, it could take two hours. The wall outlet and the charger seems to work OK I used the with other Apple products and tried to charge the new iPad mini on several Chargers without a change in speed.

It of just something with the new model or do I have a problem?

    See you soon... Scotty

I would recommend it is connected to the charger, then turn the iPad that it will speed it up

Another step that I would recommend becomes an adapter harder for example iPad mini comes with an adapter to 5w, I advise to use a 10w and 12w adapter.

  • Sync to iTunes with iPad mini 4

I just got a new iPad mini 4.  When I tried to sync iTunes from my Mac Mini to my iPad mini, I managed to synchronize the songs but the clip that I had as a playlist sync, I don't think.  I had no problem it sync to my iPod Nano.  And when I plug my iPad mini in my Mac Mini, under summary of the mini iPad videos demonstrate but when I look on my iPad mini, I can't find the videos.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.  I looked under iTunes-> music videos.  I also looked under the Photos.  When I was syncing, the display on my Mac Mini has shown that it is synchronized.  Any suggestions as to where could have videos?

Search in the video application. This is where it should be. ITunes is just a link to the store on the iPad, not a media player.
