  I suggest Git for a simple local set up. And if you want a nice graphical interface, or you can integrate directly into Eclipse (Flash Builder).

  Hi, I'm not a developer but I use DPS to design content according to apps. So forgive if my questions are too basic for most of the people here.

  So far, I have used only Indesign and Muse to design the content of my app, in the old system of DPS. I used the muse to design and export HTML slide shows. I have two questions-

  1. What are the new tools for 2015 of DPS in Indesign. I installed the plug in and note the following tools as part of the 2015 DP in Indesign-

  -Article DPS export

  -New Panel "Overlay".

  is there something else?

  For HTML articles, what should I ask my developer? As I said I am not a developer but would need to get content designed by a developer in HTML5. I know that we can articles covert HTML code using the HTML package.

  But there are specifications and guidelines for creating own HTML articles for use in the applications of DPS 2015.

  2. it's nothing special, you need to do if you're doing a content simple HTML. The only place where you get fancy is if you want to manage touch gestures to do special things, like manipulating a puzzle, slide through a slide show, etc. We have a few new APIs in 2015 of DPS that help authors have explicit gestures control when they want their HTML content.   The question is what process is running which try repeatedly to launch C:\Users\Stan\AppData\Roaming\.5.exe' which has apparently already been deleted.  It is likely malicious. I suggest the following-

  When the pop-up is open look in the Applications tab of Task Manager (press Shift Ctrl Esc or clock right on the taskbar to open).  If there, right-click on the entry and select go to process.  It should then highlight the process in the process tab.  Right click on that and select open file location.  Depending on where it is you may be able to complete the process and delete the file.  Also find and remove all startup related item. Use a tool like this.

  The new Document dialog box does not facilitate a change of units, although you can type any unit in its fields.

  After the removal of the new Document dialog box, you can right click on a rule to choose different units, or launch the Preferences dialogue box and choose different units in the Panel units and increments. Here, your settings will be saved with the document and should not affect new documents.
