New Version of Flash Player install properly

Cannot install the new version of Adobe Flash Player. Windows 7, 32 bit. I use Firefox. Firefox is updated. Old version worked very well. Tried to install the new because the old one was slow and I received instructions to update. Uninstalled the old. Now, I can't look at anything, because whenever I try to install the new version, I get a message saying that I can not install more than one instance of it, and it is already open. It is not the case. I'm confused. How can I fix it. Yes, the plug-ins are allowed. I tried to connect to the part that said to try for another computer and chose Windows and Firefox. Yet, the same problem. Please, help me, I am close to tears.

Nevermind, I chose this option:

http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/Help/install_flash_player.exe

He finally allowed me to install. It works. Adobe, I'm disappointed that this update has been so frustrating to install. Shame on you.

  • After installing the new version of flash player firefox only charge for most of the sites basic html

After you install the new version of Adobe Flash Player yesterday, Firefox would not charge most of the sites except in basic html, as I understand is the right term for all the lists in the text, especially on the left side of the screen. They open in Google Chrome and IE. I tried to restore to two days ago, today I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed, I have tried several possible solutions in the support forums, but nothing has worked. I prefer Firefox but it will fall if I can't get this resolved quickly. Note: I only start from the principle that the new flash player was to blame as it happened immediately after. I don't really know yet what he does, it's just one of those things that appears and says he has to be upgraded to the latest version from time to time.

The Flash player plugin allows certain types of media to be displayed in the web pages. Otherwise, you get an empty rectangle. Usually Flash would not hinder Firefox to load style sheets, images and other elements that add to the raw text of the page.

You can try the reset function. It duplicates some data key of your active settings in a new file, bypassing some add-ons and custom settings. Your plugins (including Flash) will still be active, but may be disabled manually if you wish.

More information in this article: Firefox Refresh - reset the settings and Add-ons. Please note that an old parameter file appears on your desktop. You might want to keep this around for awhile in case you need to save something from him

  • New Versions of Flash Player replace older Versions?

When I install a new version of Adobe Flash Player the old version automatically deletes itself?  I have little storage space of hard disk and I fear than the about 17 MB / version will worsen to meet an important space quantity if older versions are not automatically withdrawn from my hard drive.  If the old version is not removed automatically, how I remove it manually?

    Thank you!

    Mac OSX 10.9.1

    Safari Web browser

Yes, it will overwrite the old file.

A bigger problem is the fact that a simple 17 MB could cause you problems on your hard drive from a point of view amount of space available. I'll pass on any wisdom I got by a guru 'Mac' years ago.

"You never want to let a HDD go below 25% available for a long time and NEVER let go below 15% available if you do not want trouble".

As a general rule, if you have a 500 GB hard drive, you want to keep available 125 GB more all the time. You can run under it for a while, but you can save external files and stuff to keep things smooth. My Mini has a 500 GB and I have 340 GB available. I have a time Machine 1 Tb and a 2 TB storage drive that still has 882 GB available. I'm also out of 160 GB flash drives and another 160Gb HD for storage of things long term I rarely access. If I do not NEED on my Mac hard drive, it goes elsewhere.

'Fragmentation' is not a problem with OS X, as it is with Windows, but you need TO 'swap file' space for replaces and modifies files that you handle, and 17 MB puts you in a bind... then work with a PSD file to 500 MB in Photoshop, with a dozen layers, is likely to take your system to the top. Even a PowerPoint file good size could lock you up if you do not have enough available space.

  • Cannot get the new version of Flash Player to work.

Sites of the New York Times and slate (it is today, although it started with the time two days ago and I have to him until today) said I had to update the player. Did links on sites, download and install shows as a success, but not good to get anything to work and sites are the new version is not installed as it still tells me to install it. Visit the site of Adobe directly to install it, which did not work. Verified through troubleshooting site and done everything I was told to do it, I went to tools, ensured that this script is activated as a Java script and the two were, does not need to change anything. Downloads closed then reopened browser (IE just before 9, OS Win 7 64-bit), not good, then challenged computer market, at least two times (at this time I lost count) and also not good. Anyone else noticed post indicating problems with YouTube videos and I have that too. I got some videos and for a very brief flash of time I see a red band at the top of the video, barely there quite a long time to read me, talk to me about something Flash Player. This was never a problem before downloading so I have no idea of what is happening here.

    Help.

  • Manager tab Firefox Add0ns is incorrectly identify my version of Flash Player installed.

Firefox calls being installed and up-to-date Flash Player 16.0.0.235. Windows 7 calls the ongoing installation of Flash Player 16.0.0.305.

You seem to have two different Plugins Flash installed for Firefox.

    Shockwave Flash 17.0 r0
    Shockwave Flash 16.0 r0

Also, don't forget that [ActiveX], Firefox IE Chrome [pepper] and [Plugin] use separate versions of Flash. We need to look the version listed in the "Installed programs" to correct for the web browser you use.

Take the uninstall program Adobe from here:
    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

Then download the versions of Flash you need for Firefox and IE here:
    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Run the Adobe Flash uninstall program, and then restart your operating system. To remove completely all versions of Flash.

Then install the latest versions of Flash. Restart your PC when finished.

  • Notification by e-mail of new versions of Flash Player?

I work in an Interior IT Department with a little less than 500 PCs. I don't dot not have my basic configuration of the user with admin rights. So when the releases a new version of Adobe Flash Player, I have tested it. Then push it to a beta group, then deploy it to the rest of society. My question is I would like to receive an email notification that there is a new version out there that I should start my tests. At the present time, my user base quite often find before me, or as soon as I do.

    Any ideas?

You can register for the Service Notification of safety Adobe, who will send you when Adobe shipped updates to an Adobe product security, including Flash Player and Reader.

This is NOT an installation program. It is an application that you just put in your Applications folder.

  • On the new version of Flash Player 13.0.0.214 to decompress Installer mac got bad Installer name

Hi, I downloaded the 13.0.0.214 flash player from this page: ersions http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#main_Archived_v. Has , I downloaded the Installer 'flashplayer13_0r0_182_mac.dmg' , the name of the installer for mac is 13.0.0.182 instead of 13.0.0.214. Also, I unzipped and looked inside the Info.plist file and noticed that the version is 13.0.0.214. May I ask if Adobe coined the name of the installer incorrectly? Is the installation program itself (the content of this installer) safe to use to reach the 13.0.0.214 version?

Moreover, the time I downloaded this installer is at 13/05/2014 11:40.

    Hi team_ocd,

It seems that the file were named incorrectly (the actual files were the correct version).  I fixed the names of files and posted an updated zip file.

  • Problems with the new version of Flash Player

Then when I downloaded the Flash Player version 10.3.183.5 version, I started noticing that some images were not loading. Instead there are boxes where images should be and a red x in the upper left. Some of the images have the same text in indicating them what needs to be there. I was hoping that it was this version that was originally my problem but I've recently updated to 10.3.183.7 and have noticed no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a problem of Flash Player, but it's hard to say without the URL.  You can post the link that you used for the screenshot above?  I'll inspect objects and see it as broken links (my hunch is image links).

    Thank you

    Chris
