  Unfortunately, this seems to be a Yahoo problem and not a Firefox one. This means that you have the choice:

  • Further in the Yahoo community

  or

  • Use Netvibes, which seems to work.

  You can in

  Settings > general > Restrictions > News: OFF

  Note that you need to activate the Restrictions to make changes.

• News Feeds Widget not get RSS news! Help! (Or stream is marked as read automatically?)

  I installed as a widget, the news application. I used to get a lot of food when I subscribed to a package before the upgrade to the latest Android 2.1. I added my own feeds to a few sites that I know publishes daily, if not hourly, feeds. They are never shown on the news wire. Well, it's what seems to happen: I was looking for right on my phone and I have not hit or something, but on this News Feed, it comes to show a new stream. I haven't touched my phone, it's just sitting on my desk as I type this. And then the new stream just disappeared and now it reads: no recent unread again. But if I had not looked at just the screen when she appeared, I knew that there was still food for animals!

  It seems that it is reading feeds and automatically mark them as read and so so I can not read or display them correctly. Is there some sort of setting? I tried to remove this widget and creating a new widget using a wrapped package of advances and is having the same problems. It will not display the items. I have the display items defined for the longest amount of time to SHOW ITEMS for: (currently at 1 month). This has not changed anything.

  Well, I did a full factory of my phone data reset. Totally wiped all data and configure my phone again in the start menu of motoblur throughout. I loaded my Motoblur account before (I tried once again with a fresh Motoblur account to see if that had an effect on it - none that I could say, so reuse the one I had should be no problem).

  I have reset to the essential, and I am happy to say my app News widget now works finally! He showed a lot of RSS feeds and that they disappear no more! Must have been a bug or something with my phone before that only a factory reset could fix. Or just coincidentally they fixed the News Feed App widget on the exact time as well as I did the reset!

  Unfortunately, even if all my programs work perfectly well and super fast now running, she was again resort to reset everything on my phone. I am so happy with this phone. If I could do an another phone update anytime soon in my contract, I would. But financially, I'm stuck with this phone at least next year, I can say.

  Now I just need to know if it would be useful to the Valley at the AT & T store main located in Walnut Creek, where I was mentioned by a tech to a backend at Berkeley who just formatted and reset my phone only one month ago exchanging my phone for a new brand. I couldn't do in the Berkeley store because it would take 3 days to replace, and I need a phone every day. The Walnut Creek store would be able to Exchange and replace the phone the same day. I don't know if it's a hardware problem or software comes to be really crappy.

  But thanks for all the advice and help. It seems that restarting usually is the answer to everything. I learned to work on PC for so long! Now I guess I need to find how to clean my SD card because I've already replaced the apps very minimal and did not want to format the card now. But that's another thread and bc, it's a whole other topic of discussion!

  I've recently updated a.448 and now in the News Feed app miss me all the icons for foods, such as the ESPN 'E', the logo of the NYTimes, etc. All this is show is the generic RSS logo.

  There are at least two options:

  (1) query metadata (UCM) and host content (PGC)
  (2) RSS feed component (UCM) and RSS task Flow (WCP)

  Ad 1) take a look at this tutorial: http://www.yonaweb.be/webcenter_tutorial/using_content_presenter_templates

  In a Word, your 'news' can be any content stored in the University Complutense of MADRID, defined by its metadata. To view it, you can create a template according to your needs.

  AD 2) could not work any longer.

  The idea is to use get news RSS FEEDS and display them. As part of the WCP, there will be no problem - for more details, see http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/webcenter.1111/e10149/rss.htm#WCSUG1384
  I don't know, however, for the part of the Complutense University of MADRID. There used to be a component that has enabled the sharing of content as RSS feeds. The component is available at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/content/rssfeeds-129386.zip
  Unfortunately, it seems in 11g were dropped (I could find no reference to this in the docs of 11g), however, it might still work - see the discussion in the activation of the RSS FEED at the Complutense University of MADRID

  If you want to go this way, you will need to test / fix it yourself.

• News FEED can be synchronized via Firefox Sync? Currently, I can see my RSS links but the food seem to be all empty.

  I created Firefox sync on my phone and some desktop computers. I have several RSS feeds included RSS which sync perfectly on the desktop version of Firefox, but on my phone not loading (even if I see that the link container).

  Otherwise, Firefox Mobile is great - I like it enough that I switched to Android from an iPhone!

  Please use Firefox for Android! I heard of a problem with live bookmarks, which seems similar to what you experience. I would like to know if the problem you are experiencing is different and I'll get a filed separate bug or ask the engineering team / quality to investigate it.

• Since the FF13 update news FEED stopped loading/updating!

  Had heard a report on it and I had the same problem immediately after updating to the latest version.

  I have about 50 live bookmarks on my bookmarks bar and they all stopped working. They charge not even manually - they don't show all the titles: empty set as if they are all dead.

  Needless to say that it's a significant pain in the neck and if all goes well, there a solution or at least a workaround...

  Hello, are you using addons that provide or extend the functionality of the live bookmarks? because firefox 13 changed the way it handles rss feeds in order to optimize performance. test if it works correctly when you run firefox in safe mode - if so, please try to research if there is an update availble for these extensions, or disable them at the moment.

  When I go to an RSS feed on a website I get given the pop - up "Subscribe to this feed using..." option "and Thunderbird in the drop-down menu options. When I click on Subscribe that everything that happens is it switched to Thunderbird but no flow appeared. What I am doing wrong?

  Yes, I noticed that some users here in the forum have had problems using the modules of RAM from Crucial, but Kingston modules seem to run ok.

  But you can extend the RAM to 2 GB only when a location is available as shown here:
