• An update and my NIK filters went

  IK heb een subscription op PS/Br/Lr.  Via een update van Adobe, treat ik nu een en al mijn-filters NIK zijn weg test.

  I have a subscription on bridge/PS/Lr.  I did not now how, but I got an update for these 3 programs.  My subscription is gone... I had a trial version.  But worse still, my Nik filters are gone!  I can'f find a way to communicate with Adobe.  I hate this stuff.

• Nik filters, Topaz and DxO lost in Ps CC 2015.5.1

  When I did my upgrade from 2015 CC, I still had the "Topaz" DxO and Nik filters.   But now, a few weeks later, they went.

  Why (when they have survived the upgrade)?

  What is the less painless way to recover them?

  And why Adobe does this for us?   Surely their guru coders could find a way to save all and each of us hours to find license numbers, which filters, and how to on this subject?

  You must copy your Photoshop Plug-ins folder

  Go to your Adobe folder and locate your previous version of Photoshop.

  • Windows users can find the Adobe folder in the Program Files folder.
  

  • Mac users can find the Adobe folder in the Applications folder
  

  Copy the contents of the plugins folder and paste them into the plugins folder of Photoshop 2015-5 CC.

  

  Now, when you launch Photoshop CC 2015-5, most of your 3rd party plug-ins is back!

  Is it possible to use NIK filters in 2015?  If so, how can I get their program?

  Yes they work but there are a few small problems which will require an update. Simply download and run the installer.

  Can someone tell me how I can get my Nik software plugins after update to Photoshop? Thank you.

  Simply reinstall them. You may be able to copy the file from your older version of Photoshop Nik plugin - it should always be there, even though 2014 has been uninstalled.

  Go to the application in the mac folder,

  you will be able to see the folder for Photoshop CC 2014

  open it there will be a folder for the plugin, copy this folder.

• CC 2015 crash after using filters Nik Collection

  Since CC 2015, I sometimes crashes after application Sharpener Pro 3 on some images.

  The application will suddenly even if I'm doing something different to a new image.

  But no crash if I do not use any Collection of Nik filters.

  Who can confirm, or not, problems with Nik Collection?

  Never had this problem with CC2014.

  What should do?

  When you updated Photoshop CC2015.5 installs in a completely separate from CC2015 folder. The default update installation will remove CC2015 completely, but the plugin folder should remain, in order to check the path "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015\Plug-ins\Google" to see if she is still there - the Google folder contains the Nik plugins. If you still have the folder, and then copy it to the location of the plugin for CC2015.5 directory, which is usually at "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\Plug - ins'." In other words, copy the entire folder the old installation to the new Google.

  There was an another update 48 hours ago, that did not remove the CC2015.5 and therefore should not disable the Nik filters.

• CH & LR with NIK

  I just installed applications pack of photographers (LR & PS) on my Macbook Pro. LR5 still exists on my hard drive.

  I downloaded the pack of NIK filters and trying to install it, I am only presented with the option to install it in every version of LR, but no PS

• CC 2015.5 Photoshop + Nik collection

  After the upgrade to 2015.5, and the reinstallation of the collection of Nik filters in most work. Analog Pro 2 Efex and Sharpener Pro 3 do not work. I get 'the 'unknown' command is not available. I uninstalled and reinstalled the collection with the same problem. I'm on a machine to win 10.

  Reinstall does not help me on my Mac, but I was able to set as follows:

  -copy the following folder/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2015/Plug-ins/Google

  -Paste in the following folder/Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2015.5 CC/Plug-ins

  -close and reopen your Photoshop-Online Nik filters are back and seem to work!

• Nik filter questions

  An accident of "BSofD" when editing in 2015 CC Photoshop, I have a problem with the functioning of the Nik filters, specifically Color FX Pro 4.  All filters work but I can't save favorite filters and no registered filters appear in the Nik of PS CC 2015 selection tool.  Leaving the PS, I get the following error message:

  "XML parsing error: not well formed (invalid token) at line 1.

  Action taken:

  1. uninstall the Nik filters using their uninstall program.

  2. download the latest version of Nik filters web site.

  3 re-install all filters.

  The problem still exists.  System: Windows 7 Professional.  Note that this problem exists also with Photoshop CS5 that I still have on my system, then maybe it's a matter of Nik and not Photoshop.  I sent Nik the problem but have not yet had to answer.

  • Try this, while pressing Shift open PS and click Yes at the prompt.
    • None of your plugins will not load.
  • Now, try and make all the King of the work with the PS and see if at any time, it crashes or not.
  • If this is not so, it is for sure a question with NIK and you will need to contact them directly.
  • However, if you want to try, reinstall PS and see if that helps.

• 13 elements does Nik software support?

  I upgraded from 11 to 13 items.  My Nik filters are listed in 13 filters menu.  I can open the Nik filters to edit a photo, but will not save the changes in a layer of 13 items.

  Recently, I learned that Nik software is not currently compatible with 13 elements.  However, it is in the final phase of testing by its engineers.  Once the test is completed and updates that are necessary for full compatibility are applied, it will be added to the page Licensing & Nik compatibility.

• Lost the Nik selective tool box display in CS6

  I have accendentally clicked on the 'x' and lost the rest of my Nik tools on the right panel. The software is still in "filters". 1 box remains as stated. How to restore the display of set values lost tools in the control panel?

  Is it possible, if this happens again, I can save the workspace CS6?

  I suspect the problem you are experiencing, is to find someone who uses Nik filters.  I have not, although I have several plugins "Topaz".  Anyway, a quick glance on the Nik help pages found this, which might be what you're looking for

  The main thing is to go (from Photoshop):

  File > automate > Nik selective tool

• All third-party plug-ins 3 do not appear in 2015 CC even after using installers of sellers.

  Canon ipf8400 plugin, all Imagenomic Portraiture, Nik filters. They all appear in the Plug-ins folder. Mac OS X 10.10.5, CC 2015.1.2, (21060113r.355 x 64).

  It's not happened after update - they work very well and just don't appear in the menu a few days ago. Appreciate any help or advice you can give.

  Could you please move the Plugins on the desktop and then to reinstall the Plugins using the installer last one of them.
