  Hello. Newbie here.

  I used the menu widget to create a navigation bar with my pages four high-level, set their State normal-rolling-down-active as you wish, and it works very well with these top-level pages. However, I have about ten child pages under one of the pages more high level. When one of these child pages is active, the status of link to its parent page is not used. The link is in its normal state.

  Is it possible to have the status of a parent page navigation link apply to child pages to the title of this page?

  Example: Four top-level pages are HOME, COLLECTIONS, ABOUT, CONTACT.

  COLLECTIONS has ten pages of child, and I try to have the COLLECTIONS navigation link must be in its active State for all the child pages. Possible?

  It comes by default as only the current page will retain the set active state.

  Long story short, its been a while since I worked with sites Web but my church needed someone and asked me to help and to be their Director. I removed a button in the navigation bar on the template and the changes carried forward on the Index but now the child page links are broken. The page can be viewed at Cowboy Church of Jerusalem - Double HH Ranch. What I screw up?

  Looks like your path of the link contains an additional subfolder.  Note the link on the page AboutUs.html.

  Location of the file on the server:

  http://www.cowboychurchij.org/ AboutUs / AboutUs.html

  Link on the navigation bar contains an additional folder:

  http://www.cowboychurchij.org/ AboutUs / AboutUs / AboutUs.html

  If resolve you paths to the correct file locations in your Template.dwt it should work.

  Do not forget to save model, populate the changes made to the child pages and download all the pages of the child to the server.

• Child Page Master Page Navbar Behind content

  So, I built a master page with a navigation bar on the top that has the effect of Parallax scrolling. Then I put text on the pages of my child content, but when I saw the and scrolled down, the navigation bar stuck on the top of the screen as it is supposed to, but the test is going on. I saw this page here 2 years ago but which is ALWAYS a problem now? For reference, this is what the problem looks like:

  

  I thought maybe unlock the layer of the navigation bar on the master page and then moving upward on the child pages. However, the master page only gives me an option of locking as if it is already unlocked, but I can't click on it on the child pages.

  On your master page, create a new layer and name it something like 'On Top' and make sure that it is the top layer of most.  Then select the navigation, and move it to the layer above (right click, switch to the layer).  This should fix it.

• Applying the active state of the NAV menu high level. to the child pages

  I try to keep a consistent look across child pages of a top-level site. I want the main navigation bar to remain in an active parent page state, while the user navigates the child pages associated with this page using submenus. Ideally I'd like the active State to remain in the top level menu so that the user knows they are still within that parent while they drill down to the specific information they are looking for.

  New to this and am really your "no HTML" experience, just design work lags. For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

  I created a work around what has worked for me.

  My design is a simple text with a highlight color box in the text. I tried to change the text color and the highlight color for stay active when the child pages.

  So what I did was copy the main navigation of my template feature main principal is then 'Paste in Place' on the template page of my child.

  Then on the pasted copy, I changed the text color, background of the text box to cover a master changed and main navigation text box highlight color to match the active state.

• Active state with menu manual not working does not with child pages

  I created a horizontal menu manual on my master page with two links (at WORK and about me). I did them manually as it was the only way I could work out how the style and the menu items to distance as I wanted. I created an active state that works for the main page WORK and the about me page.

  However, I have four child pages under the work, but when you click on one of them that the active State for labor (a green line under work) does not appear. When I return to the menu options to try to "solve" the problem and choose "All pages" all child pages appear in the main menu I want and does not solve the problem. I chose manual that I could put the line to show that under the term of WORK and not all field.

  I managed to solve this problem (with the help of Live Chat Support). I needed to create an autour work and provide a 'normal' State which resembled the active state, so when you click on the pages of the child, it looked like work page parent menu (with a green line) below. This meant that I had to duplicate master page and do the same (deletion of the green line in the menu of work) for the words Me page. And now, everything looks the same: www.robertgreens.com

  I've implemented the onPageLoad feature in my grain of support by the RegionController extension, but the method is not called in jsff child page.

  I'm having jsff parent and child jsff. In my parent jsff, I invoke the jsff as pop-up child. I want to do something different on the loading of the page parent and child.

  When the parent page opens action onload in the controller's class. runs but when I open the child page onload in the controller B class action does not run.

  But if I delete the parent page definition controller class mapping, then the action of onload child page in the class controller B is executed.

  If you have reviewed the file on the remote server and the code is in place, this is what will be sent to the browser. The fact that you have edited the child page outside of Dreamweaver makes no difference whatsoever. Dreamweaver template tags are simply HTML comments that start with InstanceBeginEditable or InstanceEndEditable. Dreamweaver uses comments internally to control what can or cannot be changed within Dreamweaver. According to browsers and web servers are concerned, they are simply comments that are ignored.

  It is possible that a proxy server is caching of your page. You could try renaming the page, download the renamed version and check that.

  The only other thing I can think is that you use a model of Business Catalyst. Business Catalyst is is more integrated with Dreamweaver CC 2015.

  No this is not possible with Muse.

  This may be possible with a Muse site as default Muse publishes all the pages in the root folder.

  You will need to publish several site Muse to subfolders on your directory in order to get such results.

  Under Edit - Prefs. - Documents check the box that says "Restore last display settings when reopening documents." Hide the Pages panel manually, and the next time that you open the file it should have disappeared.

• Changes to the template in the edit box may not propagate to child pages?

  I have a Web site that was created using Dreamweaver CS4. I copied the directory on a machine running CS6 and configure as a new site in DW. I want to make a change in the editable region of a template that feeds on all pages. However, when I do change it seems to go through the motion to propagate the change through all the pages, but in fact - when checking 'detail' of the process - all it seems to do is identify the child pages but not update them. No changes occur. Any ideas? I did have this problem before, I remember.

• Child pages that inherit from the editable template regions

  I looked far and cannot find an answer to this problem:

  We recently made an update to the home page where the level template nested and/or the second (index_template.dwt) has been changed. Because a large part of the formatting was identical - I duplicated the original index_template and made all the necessary changes. From this model, two child pages have been created for our US and UK site. To create the index_template pages, they are inherited editable regions, so having not unable to update when changes are made to the model. I tried several ways to try to fix that - but nothing works. Someone has any idea how to solve this problem? From now on, I have to manually update all 3 pages.

  BTW, I am also a relatively new user who has been cast in the management of our company and website well enough to do a restore by stepping on all. Talk about a learning experience!
